Eric was very friendly and professional. He was kind enough to provide a ballpark estimate over the phone without seeing the stumps first, which was much appreciated. He showed up ahead of schedule, did a great job of removing all the stumps, and charged only about half of the initial estimate he provided on the phone--how many contractors would you expect to do that? Highly recommended!

It was done very professionally, ground stump and surrounding roots out better than I expected. by the size of the tree stump I knew it would be more which was still VERY inexpensive. it was ground very fine so cleanup was easy. I will have them back once I begin work in the back yard; Great job guys!

They did a great job, I was expecting a lot of debris cleanup but was pleasantly surprised that much of the stumps were ground so fine there was little to cleanup. They were really great to work with and very cost effective!

It was great, and for much less money than I thought it would be. Eric was friendly, and the work went fast. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone. On their website, they have a video of what this is like, so you can ensure there is room to get the grinder in and out. All things as promised. A perfect job for a lot less than I thought.

They did exactly as they said with no issues! Dressed very professional and went to work right away. Dave ground out the stumps while Dave got out their leaf blower and cleand off the driveway of dirt that their machine left when they unloaded it. I will call them again if I need more stumps removed!!!

They were fast to call me back, on time for the appointment and ground out everything I asked them to do. Would higly recommend this company to anyone with unsightly stumps. They do not do any removal of debris post grinding, but that was fine as I can use all the mulch I can get in this area of the yard.

I called Affordable Stump Removal Saturday, 9/20. Owner answered on second ring. Very friendly, polite, etc. Quoted the price and was careful and thorough in describing exactly what they would and would not do. Asked if he could have permission to place a yard sign for a week, to which I answered in the affirmative. Said no one needed to be home as he would place a bill on the front door and we could mail a check for the $30 plus tax. Also said it would probably be done late the next week or early the week after. On Monday morning 9/22 we went grocery shopping and, on our return, to our surprise, there was the yard sign. The job was already done. An excellent job. Couldn't ask for more. Price was so reasonable I didn't even ask for the senior discount.

Eric and Dave removed three stumps from our property. One was a rather large birch tree stump, one was a pine tree, and one was a large evergreen bush. I had left about 3 feet on each of the 3 birch stumps, and they cut them down and carried the wood to my wood pile. The bush had stone buried around the roots, and they were able to work around and through this. They called me upon arriving at my home and asked for my approval as at least one of the stumps was larger than expected and they didn't want to charge me more than the phone quote without my approval. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. We would DEFINITELY recommend their services, and will call them again if we need any more stumps removed.

My initial call was returned with in an hour. We talked about the stump and Eric gave me an initial estimate over the phone. He came out the next morning and took a look at the job. The job was a bit bigger than we had talked about so Eric provided me an exact price. The next day was a rain day. The day after the rain day they stopped out and ground the stump. They ground about a 5' by 5' area. There was no other evidence in my yard they they had been there. Responsive, prompt stump grinding. Hire them.

Great guys. Showed up and walked the yard to see where everything was and got the grinder fired up. An hour later they were done. Were going to have more in the future and we will be sure to have them back. Very reasonably priced.

They did the job quickly. It wasn't as cheap as I hoped it would be but that's probably because of the amount of square feet that had to be chewed up because of the root structure of the bushes. They were very friendly and have a pretty new machine to get the job done.

We were really impressed with our experience with Affordable Stump Removal. They returned our initial call promptly and were able to give us a pretty close estimate over the phone. When they came out to the property to confirm--they were upfront about an issue I hadn't let them know about and adjusted the price upfront in a reasonable way. Upon receiving the go-ahead for work, they got the work done timely and professionally. No where did they overpromise. We were very happy with the work and price and would happily work with them again.

Eric was easy to work with and very fair price. Dave operated the machine that removed the stumps with ease. Stress free way to remove stumps; well worth the $ vs. me trying to do it.

The only reason I gave an "A" rating is because Angie's List didn't allow an "A+"! They couldn't have done a better job ... From quickly returning my very first call, to scheduling flexibly, to performing all work & cleaning up afterwards, Eric & Dave were 'top shelf'. Did I mention that they were polite on top of everything else? Aspiring Angie's List contractors would do well to take note of how this duo performs.

I was called back within a couple hours of my first call. I was explained the process and what needed to occur after they left. I felt very comfortable with the whole process. They were able to perform the work even though I wasn't there. I recommend highly.

AWESOME!!! From the initial call back from Dave, which was less than an hour after I left the message, to him loading his grinder back on the trailer. He explained the entire process to me, what to expect, how much it would cost and the date and time he be able to help me out. Final cost was within a few bucks of his phone estimate and he showed up exactly when he said he would and took exactly as long as he estimated. Love that kind of service and attention. They have an excellent business model in place for something as seemingly simple as a stump removal service. Excellent telephone bidding system and quotation. Came on time and delivered at the price quoted. Great on-site service personnel and equipment. Everything very customer focused and reliable.

They were professional and friendly. I had just called them Thursday night and they were able to come out Monday morning! I definitely would recommend them and use them again.
