They gave me an estimate of the time frame they would be able to get the job done and it was accurate.  The job was completed in the time promised and looks great.

My husband and I had ripped out an old deck and were left with an area of dirt. We talked about ripping out our old concrete patio because there were cracks and it was uneven. We decided that it would be too big of a job for "weekend warriors". We received 4 separate quotes. Sphan-Manning by far was the easiest to work with. Robb returned my phone call and set up an estimate appointment the quickest. Also what I really liked about Robb is he's the owner of the company so the night of the estimate appointment I knew how much it would cost if I went with him. I really enjoyed that. Other companies I had to call multiple times and estimates took 2-3 weeks to get after the initial estimate appointment. Of course we decided to start this project in the middle of summer so we understood that it would probably be about 6 weeks before they could get to our job. Also what I liked about Robb is he was really easy to talk to and very patient!!! We thought we had settled on a certain paver but then when I had samples (delivered by Robb) sitting in my back yard, I ended up deciding I didn't like it at all!! Robb was really great about it and brought me additional samples until I found exactly the look I was going for!! Once the installation began it took about a week from start to finish. Sphan-Manning removed our old concrete patio (~500 square feet). I was so impressed with the concrete patio removal-our backyard has limited access and existing flower beds that were around the old concrete patio and deck that we wanted to keep so they busted the concrete apart by hand and hauled it out in wheelbarrows!!! 8 inches of crushed rock,  a few inches of sand, and pavers were brought into our backyard via wheelbarrow as well! Robb and his guys are such hard workers!! As the patio went down I was getting more and more excited and knew I had picked the right company!! Overall our project went great and we can't wait to use Robb and his guys again!!!

Everything was done very well. They left the place clean.

Rob and his staff did a great job with our yard.  We had three estimates done.  I can't recall the final cost but Rob was by far the most reasonable. Overall, the quality of the work was excellent. Our only issue was that we expected that the fire pit area would have a thicker layer of crushed rock than what was installed. We will definitely use Spahn-Manning with any future outdoor needs! 

Exceptional work from the beginning of the job until the end. Robb came to the house to provide an estimate and submitted a written proposal to me very punctually. His communication was consistent before and during the project to inform me of project dates and progress made each day. The completed job exceeded my expectations! Robb Manning was great to work with, very professional and did a great job.  He was always personally on the job site which I appreciated.  I would highly recommend.

I used them because it was just recommendations from others and just had a good feeling about the quote and everything.

Provider called back and when I mentioned the lawn installation was for a new construction home, he sounded disinterested. He said he is just interested in doing hardscaping now. I felt a little like he just didn't want my business, which was annoying because I saw that his Angie's List profile says he does lawn installation.

From start to finish, the job was great. Robb was extremely professional, fast and informative. We scheduled our installation and he fit it in  during early November, before winter really got started. His guys were in and out in less than 2 days. We had our front walkway and stoop re-done with brussels block pavers.

They got the job done amazingly quick and it looks great! Very happy with the work and the guys that were out here doing the job.  Nice crew!  Can't wait to use the patio this summer. Would definitely use them again.

I called quite a few landscaping companies to come out and do an estimate to install pavers and Robb was one of the few who actually responded and came out to give me an estimate.  He gave me an estimate right on the spot and I ended up deciding to go with him.  I realized that with the few estimates that I got that is was a very busy time for landscapers so I understood that it would take awhile to get the project completed.  I was very happy when the project was completed.  It looks great and they finished it all in one day.  This was an excellent experience and I will absolutely recommend Spahn-Manning to others in the future.

They put in a Brussel block sidewalk and soldiers trim around 2 garden areas.  It looks great and it gave are front yard a face lift.

We had a great experience.  Robb came out to look at the area in which we wanted to install the patio.  He was very friendly and helpful.  He offered suggestions and ideas and gave us a product catalog to look through.  One of our concerns was a nearby tree and our property is within a few feet of our neighbors and we wanted minimal lawn damage especially for our neighbor.  Robb said that was not a problem because they would dig it out by hand.  We had a quote before he left.  A few days later he dropped off some block samples for us to look at.  A couple of days after that we called Robb and asked if there were any installed projects that we could look at.  He sent us to a block supplier and they had actual installed samples of many different styles and colors which was very helpful.  We made our block choice and Robb and crew came out and a couple of days later the project was complete. It is everything we hoped for in a block patio.

Robb seemed like a great guy. Just was not what I expected for the price. Installation product was not what I expected; wanted Olde Greenwich Circle product, but not avail per vendor. Thus not moving forward. No work preformed.

The installation went very smoothly from the time of purchase. The first appt was prompt and efficient, measuring out the patio for design and looking at a date for installation. The installation itself was done very professionally and the cleanup was thorough. We've been very pleased and would definitely recommend this company.

Called Rob, who promptly returned my call. He want by my house to look at the work to be done (fill in dirt and decorative rocks along new driveway and walkway). We agreed on the price and he did the work. I did not need to be there. Came home and it looked great!

I purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List early August.  We'd had Rob out to our house to look over the job before hand and to make sure everything would be a go.  Rob was honest and let us know it'd be a few weeks before they could complete the job; the crew finally was able to make it over the end of last week/early this week to install the patio space.
They did a great job and everything was exactly as we'd asked.  Rob allowed us to upgrade our stone and put in a few extras with no hesitation.  We'd use them again in a heartbeat.

It was an excellent job.  We called Rob and he came out within a few days to give us an estimate along with a booklet containing various colors and options of walls.  The job was started within a few weeks.  Rob and his crew were prompt and completed the job start to finish within two days.  Our neighbor wanted the old flagsone rocks, so Rob and his crew stacked them up in his backyard for his later use.  Everything was done and cleaned up as they went along.  I was amazed with how hard Rob and the crew worked.  The weather was warm but they worked at a steady pace.  When I drive up to the house now I can't imagine why we didn't do it sooner.  I can't imagine anyone doing a better job!  This was a wonderful experience.  I would recommend them to anyone.

The contractor met with us prior to the start of the project to discuss what we wanted and the paving brick options. Once we received approval of the project from the Village, we contacted him again to say we were ready to proceed. Due to the popularity of this Big Deal it was a couple of weeks before he could start. I think the work was completed during the two hottest days of the summer.

They did a beautiful job and we enjoyed our patio the past two summers.
