SERVICE DELIVERY INC

Horrible service to say the least. I am not into writing reviews but I will take ALL the time to report the traumatic and dangerous experience I had with this company. Service Delivery were hired by the furniture store from here we bought a bedroom set. Two men arrived in the morning: one of them stayed in the driveway to offload, and the the other one came to talk to me: He looked drugged and acted like he was having a bad morning. I asked if he could take off his shoes and he said "no" abruptly. I understood given the liability issue. He asked to show him where to place the furniture (again abruptly). As soon as he got into the room he said brusquely " you need to give me $125!", I was puzzled and said "sure after you finish". He started wiping up his face with his hands very nervously and said angrily "YOU'RE MAKING EVERYTHING DIFFICULT THIS MORNING". I was shocked and started to feel very uncomfortable and walked out of the room to call the furniture company that hired them to deliver. I explained to the furniture company what was happening and that they sent me unprofessional people without minimal manners. The guy overheard me and shouted "you have no manners. F.... it!" I stood shocked and said " excuse me what did you say?" and I asked him to leave immediately or I would call 911. He stepped out in the driveway and started posturing and babbling, then charged back towards me shouting "give me the paper, no delivery for you today" repeatedly. It was traumatic! His partner was standing and watching and rather than restraining him he said "Ma'm I don't think he used the F... word" , then asked him if he did. The guy of course denied and started hovering angrily and babbling things I could not understand. It was out of control. I explained to the partner what happened in the room and said I had no interest dropping to that level and that I did not want thugs in my house or on my property. He did not seem concerned about the gravity of the situation. They ended up packing and leaving. The Furniture company was still on speaker phone and heard everything and they apologized and said they could contact the owner of Service Delivery. We live in a nice neighborhood and it was embarrassing, scary, and traumatic to go through this. I called 911 because I was worried about my safety. For the past 10 years, we've had furniture and appliances delivered to our house and have never experienced anything similar. This company not have any understanding of liability and customer safety. They seem to hire thugs without background checks or drug testing.The worst part is that the owner of the company left a voicemail later in the evening and sounded curious but not concerned or even apologetic!!. He said "I heard the story.."....We called back but he never answered or even followed up. The employees of this company should not be let into anyone's house, especially if women are expecting the delivery. Hope this review will save someone from being subjected to the same nightmarish experience.
