Jeff Schwarzhuber had to think "out of the box" using materials and pieces of wood that had already been cut and processed by another carpenter who left the job site and was unable to perform the install. Jeff stepped in, knowing he would have several challenges ahead of him given the nature of this type of project (solid wood stairs installation), and remedied a difficult situation. Jeff was not only able to use the materials he inherited with the project but proved to be an expert woodworker, installer, and craftsman; critical of his work. Jeff managed to satisfy our picky standards. Jeff was great to work with, put in full days' work for 4 days straight until the project was completed. He was also straightforward about the difficulty of coming into a project such as this after it was cut and measured out by someone else and he was helpful in explaining the other challenges he encounterd. Yet he managed to complete the project to perfection and we only had to provide a couple other materials, at our own cost (no upcharge) in order to facilitate and complete this difficult situation/project.
