They do a fine job and they're very friendly and caring. I did have an issue a couple of years ago where they had mistakenly entered something and I got a letter and I contacted them and they contacted them and got everything resolved. We've used them for about 20 years. I'm happy with the price that they charge.

We've gone to the same person for 10-15 years. We feel real comfortable with them and it is a good place to go. The price is good.

Took my records in to Schan's office. Their people straightened out several unusual questions with regard to the then-current year's records, made out the necessary forms, e-filed them with the IRS, or sent them to me to mail in, as needed by IRS rules, explained everything to me in terms I could understand, and charged what I consider a fair fee for so doing.

I have used them for many years, probably 10-15 years. I have always had excellent service and communication. They charge me a flat rate for my accounting, personal and business taxes. The consultant is Frank Wanner but I use other accountants as well. It is a medium sized firm. They are very responsible.

Tax time is a horror for me each year. I am NOT an accountant (I'm the opposite, whatever that is!) and up to 3 years ago, Turbo-Tax on our computer has been wonderful for me. But having begun dabbling in investing, I went beyond the competence of Turbo-Tax, and had to pay penalties for 2006 and 2007. I decided it was time I got a professional on board. Pat knows the ins and outs of tax preparation, and he is wonderfully comforting. I've had other details come up since, and he has made good on his offer--"If you have questions during the year, call me--That's what I'm for!" We will be using Schan Tax Service again next year. They are a little pricey, but I feel that this level of professional service is worth it.

My wife did not like our previous accountant due to her lack of availability and getting our taxes done on a regular basis. Schwan really impressed us from start to finish. Biggest return my wife and I have had in the past 10 years.

They tell me what I did to have done. They tell you all the tax laws when you go there. It takes like a week till you can sign all the papers. I only wait like five-ten minutes to see the people.
