They were very good. I didn't use them last year. They were so reasonable that everyone in our neighborhood started using them. Last year they doubled their prices. They had a team that came out to do the work. I liked it because they would grind up and leave the wood chips for free which I used only for the garden. They were amazing. I had 5 huge trees taken out for couple of thousand dollars worth. They were really reasonable. Another company charged $3000.00 per tree. They were good on quality. They were pretty responsive. If they said they were coming out, they would come out. The guy would be there next day giving you a price. They were very friendly. I would check them out for price and if they were reasonable, I would go with them first.

I had a slight issue both times with their work, but they came back both times and corrected the problem. I would recommend their work with reservations.

"We greatly appreciate the member's business and Angie's List Report. We recall the member's job well. She lives on a main road and there was a lot of construction going on blocking sections of the road so we had to coordinate a good time to get the tree removal completed. There was a small pvc pipe hidden from view that we caught when grinding the stump. We replaced it and as the member stated everything was corrected, Any time a homeowner has "unique" things at their property it's helpful if they can let their tree service know (if they are aware of them) ie; where septic is buried, sprinkler heads, drainage pipes, electrical lines for light posts, storm grates etc. We call digger's hot line for EVERY stumpgrinding/digging JOB. Calling digger's is required by law and we always take every step possible to maintain a safe work environment. They mark all underground utilities yet they do not mark private lines that the homeowner/past homeowners have installed so on occasion when we are unaware where they are they can be uncovered. We always work as quickly as possible to complete a repair should one arise yet each property is unique and sometimes we have to order a specialized item which could take extra time. Trees are like people they are all unique and different and each trim or removal is customized. Unforseen things happen infrequently and when they do we are always very proactive with providing solutions and bringing 100% resolution to the situation. It was really high quality, good pieces that were sized very consistent and burnt great in the fireplace. The customer service was great. I even gave gifts of firewood to people this year. I would use them again. The service was prompt as well. When they say they're going to do something they do it. I am very pleased.

Very good! I called requesting an estimate, the Arborist came out that same day, answered my questions, explained the processs and provided an estimate. The crew arrived promptly and completed all the work in one day.

Overall the experience was great. The office staff was great at communicating with me, especially as I am an "email" person. Every time I got a quote or had a question I had answers or a response usually within the hour, sometimes sooner. I work in the construction industry also and I understand how important, especially with this work, insurance and competant quality workmanship is. Affordable Tree Service has the necessary insurance and exceptional on site workers, I would't let anyone else put a boom truck over my roof or near my power lines. Thank you all at ATS.

The guys showed up as scheduled and on time. Prior to work being done we discussed options and their plan for trimming. Once work started it didnt stop. All areas that they did were cleaned up great and they even took a small pile of brush that I had with them. The area looks like new and is amazing on how this changed the look. They had some great advise on future projects and options. All I can say is OUTSTANDING. Very pleased with the job that was done.

I experienced excellent service from start to finish. Each person I worked with was knowledgeable and very nice. It's clear they love what they do and are very good at it. I was nervous about the Oak removal since the tree was close to the house. The climbers and ground crew were very impressive, polite and efficient. It was fun to watch them rope the pieces down safely without damaging my flower garden that was starting to come up. The yard was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. The Birch Tree looks wonderful. There is clearly an art to trimming trees and the Affordable Tree Care team has an artistic eye for sure. Not just anyone can trim a tree correctly. The Affordable Tree Care team is highly skilled and very easy to work with. All of my phone calls were answered at the time I called or the staff called back quickly. I contacted a handful of other tree services to give me an estimate as well and some never got back to me, others took a week, Affordable called me within an hour of my initial message and I had an estimate from them within a couple of days. I would use Affordable Tree Care, LLC over and over again without hesitation and recommend them to all of my friends and peers. They are insured as well which I learned is important because if a contractor does not have workman's compensation and general liability insurance should someone get hurt, I the homeowner would have to cover it with my insurance. Affordable Tree Care, LLC is very professional and FULLY insured.

They had the right equipment for the job and the right number of people to do it. They did an nice job. They took the time to protect the driveway and cleaned up after the job. I would use the again and recommend them.

The tree was a large old, oak that was hanging right over our home. Affordable Tree Care did the work in the dead of winter and were very careful to prevent pieces of the tree from hitting my roof which required some real high-wire acts up in the tree canopy. They specifically work on oaks in winter to prevent the spread of the organism that causes oak wilt. They only drove one piece of equipment over the yard (the stump grinder) and that had minimal impact with all the snow over the yard. Very happy overall. They also e-mailed after the initial estimate offering a $100 discount since they were not as busy as expected.
