Description of Work: Lightning lube provided repairs on our car in a very timely manner. They kept us informed every step of the way and received permission before performing the repairs. The staff was professional and polite. During the time our vehicle was being repaired we were provided with a courtesy car which was very appreciated. They even called up a few days later to make sure that the car was still running well.

+ -1 moreThe service was performed on the 11th it drove well for the short trip back to the house when I got in it 7 days later to drive my kids to daycare and head to work which is a half an hour away it had a knock in the left front tire after dropping the kids off it got worse and I could only go 25 m.p.h. after dropping off the vehicle with my husband he they came and got the vehicle and brought it back to the repair shop and it had 4 lugnuts loose on the left front wheel my husband could turn them easily with his fingers. They stated that Customer complained of left front wheel loose. Picked vehicle up and found 4 lugnuts loose on left front wheel. Pulled both front wheels off vehicle and inspected rims, wheels studs and lugnuts. All check out ok. Cleaned rims of corrosion, reinstalled and torqued wheels to 100 lb. ft. rechecked both front rims after test drive. All checks out ok after 50-100 miles torque on wheels needs to be rechecked. They did not charge us to fix the lugnuts but said they would give us a free oil change coupon my husband said he would not do business there again stating what if the wheel had come off with my wife and three kids in the vehicle and they would have been injured. The auto tech said not everybodys perfect and he's not GOD, and any other shop you go to in Wausau will do the same thing that they did and everybody makes mistakes and tore the oil change coupon up in my husbands face and said since you wont be using this. He did not act like it was serious that the lugnuts were loose but did say the technichian that did it will be fired. This is the second time in less than a year that they have replaced the ball joints also, saying we had to pay again because we were 200 miles over the warrantied miles even though it had been less than a year.
Description of Work: Lower ball joint-R&R Wheel bearing-R&R Left front Includes replace bearings, cups, seals, and repack where necessary Align-basic wheel alignment which includes check tire pressure, check wheel run out, inspect steering linkage and suspension components for wear or damage. Check present alignment condition, align front to specification.
