Best dentist I've been to in a very long time. This will be my new primary dental care office.

It was a good experience. I got an appointment within about two hours. He grounded down and put in a new filling.

Like many people over the age of 50, I suffered from extreme anxiety beforing going to each dental appointment. As a child, dentists did not believe in any kind of pain relief nor were they compassionate when you were frightened. When I was 5 years old, I had a dentist that began drilling for a cavity without any anesthetics or gas. I ended up vomitting on him and then he proceeded to scream at me. I was severely traumatized and have carried that trauma into my adult life. I've had other dentists that have the same attitude or they make you wait for hours in the waiting room and are not prompt.Someone verbally recommended Dr. Andrew Lindner at Balsam Ridge Dental Center. When I got there the first time, I had expressed my anxiety to them. I was matched with a dental hygenist whom was quite gentle and my appointment was very prompt. Then Dr. Lindner came in to see me and explain all the procedures I would need (including a root canal and crown). He completely understood and was willing to work with me so that I could make it through it. He prescribed a sedative for the night before so I would sleep instead of being stressed out all night long. Then he had me take another sedative 1 hour before the procedure. He used gas and novacaine too. I had three different prcedures totally. At the last one, I didn't even need the sedative the night before because I didn't stay up worrying about it and I didn't need gas because I was so much more relaxed.I would highly recommend Dr. Lindner to anyone as a dentist. Not only was he amazing in working with me, he was very prompt and the staff is very friendly and courteous! Even if you don't suffer from anxiety, he's still a great dentist!
