Under 1 Roof

Do NOT choose this company!!!!! The extreme lack of professionalism and lack of quality customer service should steer you far away from Under 1 Roof. We recently had our entire house and garage roofs replaced and new gutters installed. Here are some of the issues that arose: 1) While the crew was here, they transformed our deck and back yard into their own backyard picnic. Their music was blasting, they were laying on the deck and lawn while talking on their phones during their lunch break, and they threw empty water bottles and empty Coke cans all around our lawn. 2) After they crew left, I found refried beans smashed onto our wooden deck and piles of diced raw onion and red rice in the lawn. (We own 2 dogs and onions are harmful to dogs.) 3) I spent 2 and a half hours going over the entire property with a magnet and collected 3 plates of nails, screws, and staples (and some garbage and cigarette butts) - this was AFTER the crew did their final sweep with their larger and stronger magnet. I shouldn't have been surprised considering they spent about 10 minutes sweeping the entire property compared to my 2 and a half hours. 4) My favorite, however, was kneeling down to check what the "wet" spot on the new garage siding was and why the dirt against the back of the garage was wet when it hadn't rained.........it was urine. You can't tell me the entire crew spent 10 hours here drinking water and Coke and never once had to use a restroom. Nope, they turned the back of our garage into their urinal. 5) When we addressed these issues to the owner, he didn't send anyone over here for over 24 hours. When he did, the guy threw a bucket of water on the urine. Needless to say, that didn't solve the problem. 6) A contractor friend inspected the actual roof and gutter work and noticed things that hadn't been done properly or according to our requests. The owner came to address some of those issues and bottom line told me this: "There's not really anything I can do about it now. I'm already losing money on this project......" Why is that my concern?!?!!?!? 7) When they put the gutters and downspouts on, we asked them to attach a large black hose at the end of one of the downspouts for about 8 feet and to cut off the rest of the hose. They attached the black hose but chose to unroll the entire 40-50 feet of it and have it go along the whole garage and back yard!! Overall, do NOT waste your time with this company. IF, for some reason you do, CHECK YOUR LAWN & ROOF!!!!!!!! And get ready to do some of the work yourself since it won't be done correctly. I was extremely disappointed with the owner's response to our dissatisfaction. He barely addressed the issues we brought up and took a whopping 1.4% discount off of our final bill (please note my sarcasm in using the word "whopping").

Under 1 Roof was very professional. The work was finished quickly and the quality was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof. He also replaced our gutters at the same time at a very reasonable cost.

Excellent work all around. We had to submit a quote to our insurance company and Dave called us back the same day to set something up. He was right on time to quote and was very reasonable with price. He was up front about the time frame he had available and the sooner we chose a color the better. He kept in contact with my husband via text and was extremely responsive to any questions we had. He texted us a couple days ahead of time to let us know when they were coming. They arrived at 8 a.m. on the dot and began tear off. There was a crew of about 4-5 guys doing tear-off, cleanup and putting on new shingles simultaneously. They had the whole top of the roof done by 6 p.m. and came back to do the garage and porch overhang the next day. They did a great job of keeping the yard clean with tarps and picking up any fallen nails and debris, knowing we have kids. The crew were easy to talk to and gave us updates and even took the time to talk to my curious 4 year old. They even came back to fix our mailbox (not certain if the dumpster guy hit it or the wind took it but we asked the question to Dave if one of the guys maybe bumped it). He promptly responded that he'd send someone out to fix it and the very next day it was fixed, no questions asked and no additional cost. Very reputable company and I would recommend them to anybody!

Everything went smoothly. Dave communicates well and responds to calls and text messages promptly. The crew foreman Brett did a great job and the entire crew was polite and professional. I highly recommend this company. Their final cost was very close to the estimate (wood replacement and minor unforeseen issues) and they were MUCH lower than anyone else we called for a bid. You don't need a major construction company to have your roof done right.

Everything went as promised, and the roofs look great!  David is very nice and easy to talk to.  What he promised, he delivered in a professional and courteous manner.  This is a good, local company.  Prices are very competitive and it was a pleasure to find someone that actually  has a good work ethic.  Thank you (Under 1 Roof) for the lovely. new roof!

Well, I wasn't expecting them to do it for a couple of more weeks but someone cancelled and Dave called me to see if they could come the next day to get started. They were all very professional and courteous. They cleaned everything up very nicely. Dave ran into a few problems and always called me first before he took care of the issues. I will definitely use them again in the future if need be. And I will refer them to everyone I know.

David let us know how to fix our issue. He set up a three stage plan. First he inspected the attic to see where the potential leak was. Went up on the roof and inspected the roof and flashing around the chimney. Cleared the debris, and inspected problem areas. We no longer have a problem! He did his magic.

We had a really pesky roof leak that a handful of other roofers couldn't figure out. I got a hold of David and he was over the next day. He was able to troubleshoot the leak within an hour and resolved the issue! 
David is very easy to work with, a good communicator, and clearly great at what he does. He will be my go to from here on out for all things roofing.

He was on time. Excellent service. Its been 4 months since I had service, and I called him today and he showed up right away.
