Greg kept me well informed of the start date based on his finishing another job. Once here, they worked for almost two weeks with minimal disruptions. He was patient with a couple last minute color changes. In the future, I would use colors from BM and not HD as that was part of the color issues.Thanks to Sefner Painting!

The painters showed up when they said that they would, protected the carpet & trim, and cleaned up after they left.  The paint job was very good and we were very satisfied.  We called them back to do some more work several weeks later.
They were very good about communication and being flexible with schedule.

One of the walls in our son's room had a large hole which they patched and painted. It was a large hole but after they finished, you couldn't even tell where it had been. In general, their work was very professional. Gregg even called me from Boston to find out how the job was going. Although they don't generally do exterior they were willing to accommodate me. Also, because of the weather, it took 2 weeks to find a day when they could do our deck and garage. Once the weather cooperated, they came out as soon as possible. I would definitely use them again.

Greg has done many jobs for me over the years.  He is the only one I trust with my walls and I have several rentals he handles.   I had another guy do some work in a pinch when I coudnlnt get Greg, and I regretted it.  The other guy was sloppy, Greg is always a perfectionist.  I can't believe how he can make an old banged up wall and cracked moldings look good again.  He really know his stuff.  If ask him to cut corners like other painters, and he explains to me why I shouldn't, and how it often just a little more work to make it look fabulous.  Greg is the best in town, I highly recommend him!

Greg and Ricardo did an awesome job, and we're definitely going to be using them again in the near future.  Greg was extremely responsive both via email and over the phone, and he even got back to me quickly when he was on vacation. He's also a really nice guy and a pleasure to work with.  Their skill and attention to detail was exemplary, and they were very flexible with our ever-changing schedule.  We highly recommend Sefner Painting!

Greg and Dan finally finished the basement project my husband and I started four years ago! And they were super polite and nice, and did a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

The painters, Greg and Dan, took great care with their work. They are meticulous painters, covered everything nearby before they painted, and cleaned up afterwards. They were prompt and professional and were very pleasant to have around. This was the best painting experience we've had in a long time, and I highly recommend them.

We needed our townhouse painted along with some minor drywall repair work. I called Greg to get an estimate and he came out the next day.  He was thorough and very helpful while determining the estimate.  We went with him because his pricing was competitive and he seemed very professional.  Overall, Greg and his team did an excellent job.  They were punctual and cleaned up daily.  Greg is very professional and takes great pride in his work.  He always was asking me for feedback and wanted to ensure that everything was a 100% to our satisfaction, which it was. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

The entire process was smooth and painless! Greg scheduled me quickly and started and finished same day. Very professional and personable. I wish I had called them sooner! I will definitely use them again.

This is the 6th or 7th job Greg has done for me so this review is long overdue.   I'm a professional landlord and  I'm  delighted that I found Greg.  He is professional, prompt, and meticulous.  I can always count on him to do a great job, start on time, and finish on time.   My buildings are old victorians, so the walls often require repair.  He works magic with the old trim and walls make them look terrific.  He also does dry wall repair for me after I rip holes in walls, or when a basement flooded he cut  out the old drywall and put in new.  He does whatever is needed and makes it l look the best it possibly can.  I am always happy with his work.  He's also a nice guy, so I wont be calling anyone else.  

His services were less than adequate.

I was so pleased with Sefner Painting the first time I hired them I decided to use them again for one of those jobs we all have...  the ones that need to be done but you've been putting off forever.  In my case this was painting closets and the basement floor that I'd put off for the last decade (it needed to be done when we originally moved into the house). The Sefner painting crew removed all items from the basement, prepped the floor by washing and scuffing, put down two coats, and returned all items to the basement including hooking up the utility sink again.  They also painted three walk in closets with all shelves, hooks, nooks and crannies that go along with walk in closets. I'm very happy with the outcome and recommend the company without hesitation.

Very happy with the professionalism of Greg and his crew.  Job was done on time, at budget and price was one of the best received.  Will use again and would recommend to a friend without hesitation. 

This was my first time using Sefner Painting and I would/will definitely use them again.  I can not say enough good things about Greg and his crew.  From the first, when Greg came out to do the estimate, there was just a good feeling I had, and I pretty much had decided at that tiem that I would use him.
They had to work around all of my furniture, and they did a great job of covering everything and moving things as needed.  It was tight quarters for them - - not sure how they managed!  Greg and his crew were very detail-oriented. They didn't just throw some paint on the walls.  They carefully smoothed out my ceiling (after many patches due to water damage over the years), walls, and trim.  My ceiling has never looked so smooth.  They patched over any cracks and evened out my previous plaster repair.  Everything was painted beautifully and I am so happy with the results.  They ensured that I was happy along the way, and really went the extra mile for me. 
Example 1:  when they were starting to paint my kitchen wall, Greg noticed that the previous wiring in there was imbedded into my wall with no conduit.  This was really a safety hazard, and I can't believe the original contractors did such a thing.  Greg notified me right away, and I was able to get an electrician in to fix it up.  Greg  worked with the electricion on the timing of the various patches that were needed once the electrician was done tearing my wall up.  :-) 
Example 2:I had new floors installed two weeks before Greg's work, and they took great care to make sure it was covered at all times. I have not noticed even a speck of paint on my floors.
Plus, they are super nice people.  I highly recommend Sefner Painting for all of your painting needs.

I chose Greg for the job because I liked him as a person, and because I liked that from our first meeting for the estimate, he was guiding me towards proper finishes (another painter had come through with an estimate prior to him and suggested an eggshell finish and Greg said that matte was the way to go and explained why).  His price was competitive and he struck me as the type of guy that really takes pride in his work.  He is present at the job with paintbrush in hand (with other painters to help him).
Greg brought along a 3rd painter which helped him to beat his original time/day estimate.  I appreciated that he was very sensitive to my timeline which had him estimating to finish painting one day before we moved in.  
We were looking to keep cost down so we cut corners with not painting trim, inside closets and ceilings (and also the basement).  Greg provided me with a contract that was very clear about what he would and would not be doing.  
Place looks great.  Floors were well protected such that there was no paint splatter left behind.  They lay drop cloths on my stairs to protect carpeting while they were working upstairs, even prior to their painting by the stairs (I'm one of those people who is obsessed with no shoes in the house).  The took down and put back up large TVs and drapes where necessary.   They left the place very clean in the evenings, with their work supplies organized.
I left the men to the house themselves and Greg kept me updated on their progress and also gave me some input on paint colors.  I was choosing between 2 similar colors for the majority of the house and as a seasoned painter, I valued his opinion on what would look best with our wood floor color, stair carpet, etc.

My experience with Greg was great.  He was prompt and professional throughout the process.  He came out and walked through out condo with me and took notes and pictures to keep track of all the issues and helped identify new ones.  He was always very clear about what was going to be done (and not done), always punctual, and was very good about being responsive and staying in touch before and during the work.  He did multiple revisions of the quote as we adjusted what we wanted to have done.  We moved-out of the condo, handed him the keys, and left town.  He was in nearly daily contact during the work to provide updates and ask clarifying questions.  He made us very comfortable with what could have been a stressful situation.  He finished the work ahead of schedule.  The work was top-notch - we couldn't be happier.  Additionally, the price was actually a bit lower than most other quotes we received.

Sent Greg an email and he promplty replied responding to my need for long needed exterior painting of my brownstone metal  doors and wrought iron fence/gates.  bid was fair and I had used him before  so was coinfident in using Sefner Painting again.

This is the second project we have hired Greg for; the first was a little over a year ago.  Greg was always on-time, very professional, and did an excellent job (just like he did a year ago).  We have recommended him to some friends of ours and they said the same thing.  We may have another, much smaller project in the future and we will definitely call Greg to see if he can do it.  I would recommend him to all friends and family for any interior painting projects.

Greg did a great job from start to finish. He needed about a day and a half. He arrived on time for both the estimate and for the actual job. He's a very easy-going guy and takes the time to understand what you want done. The work was high quality with attention to detail. I asked him if he could improve one area after he'd already gone over it. He did so without complaint. I would be glad to recommend him.

We had a party coming up and wanted all the work done in time for the party.  Greg did a beautiful job in making our old plaster walls look new.  He was always there working when he said he would be, and finished on time and on budget.  He moved and covered furniture and restored everything as it was at the end of each work day.  He's a very careful, skilled painter and a nice guy to deal with, too.  He's become our "go-to" guy for any painting in our 125 year old house.
