There aren?t adequate adjectives to describe the excellent job that Greg of Sefner Painting Company did for me. To begin, my condo is 44 years old. It has been painted numerous times, but the walls were not prepped before most of these former paint jobs. So, needless to say, the walls, ceiling, and trim (including the baseboard) were in a terrible state of disrepair. Greg prepped and painted my kitchen, living room, dining room, hallway, and entryway. By prepping, I mean: he removed my window shades and the rod, and then repaired the ridges and holes left from the shades rod. Also, he repaired holes and ridges left from my curtain rod. (My window area is 21 plus feet long, which makes for a lot of repairs.) He repaired many deep ridges, deep holes, and other damage in two door casings. He sanded (and primed, when necessary) all surfaces prior to painting, repairing old peeling paint; holes; cracks; paint bubbles; and broken trim. He caulked all gaps between the baseboard and the walls. Greg had an assistant, and I never saw two people work harder or faster - - - - constantly. They were on time everyday; they finished the job in the estimated time; and they cleaned up every day. They were very friendly and professional. Greg?s fee (which included the price of all of the paint) was exactly what he stated in the estimate. Was I happy with Greg?s work? Absolutely!!! Would I hire him again? Absolutely!!! This was the most painless, strees-free painting I have ever had done. Greg and his assistant are quiet, immaculate, great guys who take pride in their work. My husband and I were home and working the whole time, and we hardly knew they were here. Greg asked me several times each day if I was pleased with the work, and I was. They did a beautiful job!

Greg responded promptly when we first contacted him. He came by our place within a couple days and sent a quote shortly afterwards. He did a wonderful job painting the bedroom. This required one more coat than initially expected but he did not charge us for extra labor. He proved himself to be a perfectionist when it came to repairing and painting our bay windows which had several cracks in the surrounding walls and window sills. We are very pleased with his work.

Greg, the owner, came over for the initial estimate and was very precise. He measured every room, discussed how I wanted various doorways painted, and gave suggestions on best paint brands and finishes. After talking with Greg on this initial visit, I knew I'd hire him because I could tell he knew what he was talking about. The estimate he provided covered not only 2 men painting but also the actual paint itself and the moving of large furniture. The price was cheaper than I anticipated and without asking applied the 10% off for being an Angie's List customer. Greg showed up on painting day on time and ready to go with one additional worker. I did not stay the day with him given it was my living area which he was painting. When I return later that day, he had already left but the living room and hallways were done. My furniture had been moved and was completely covered to protect it from paint. The next day, he was able to complete the bedroom and master bath. When I returned home that second day, he had put all the furniture back where it was. The estimate was to complete the work in three days however he completed it in two days! It looked fantastic and very professional... no were not any slashes on the ceilings, floors or cabinets (as I'd expect). What was a surprise and shows his professionalism is that he broke a glass bottle of bubble bath. He called to tell me about this but it was not a big deal to me and I told him not to worry about it. He wanted to me to deduct it from the bill but the bottle was almost empty so I saw no reason. I forgot all about this, then a few days later, Greg sent me a gift card to Bed, Bath and Beyond to cover the cost of the bubble bath. I though it was very considerate.

He emailed quote, he scheduled, he repaired, he painted, he cleaned and he got paid! Perfect!

Greg is really good! He was great to work with and the painting job he did was truly excellent! He didn't even mind my two kittens running around the place. He completed the job faster than expected. I would definitely hire him again.

After we'd contracted to replace our wood floors in two rooms and removed all the furniture and pictures, we realized that it would be crazy not to repaint when the rooms were totally empty. However, we had a small window for this and an absolute date. Panicked, we called 3 painters on a Sat. and Greg called back next day. His ratings were raves so we arranged for him to come on Tues. and give us an estimate before the flooring guys showed up. His estimate was reasonable for the amount of work involved (lots of wood trim and doors) and we hired him for the following week. Greg used an assistant one day and did the rest of the work himself. This way he can keep costs down and control quality. My husband supervised and due to some old knot holes that showed through in the wood trim, asked for additional coats of paint on the trim. Later my husband also asked for a 3rd coat of paint in one room because of old issues with the walls. All of these extras not surprisingly added cost and time to the job but Greg was flexible and accommodated everything. He did a beautiful, high-quality job and we are really pleased with how the two rooms looked. He protected the new wood floors beautifully and in the end, for an additional $25, he even helped move some of our more difficult furniture back. My husband really liked working with him and asked for a quote for later in the year to do the rest of our first floor.

Greg did excellent work. He was prompt, efficient and cleaned up. The work he did looks terrific.

Greg was extremely professional both when he came by to give us an estimate and when he actually came to do the job. We were appreciative that he was able to fit us in his schedule so quickly, we were looking for a company to come in quickly as our due date was quickly approaching. The job took 2 days, originally he thought it would take 1 1/2 days, but the patching took longer, and then the wall boards absorbed more paint than expected. His attention to detail was excellent.

He was great. Called back immediately. Kept us updated on progress. Worked with us to add a room after her started. Looks great.

I first called Greg in December. I had extensive water damage and my roof needed replacing along with wall and skylight damage. I explained to Greg that I had to have the roof replaced before the painting could be done. Because of the terrible winter that we had, the roof could not be replaced for several months. I contacted Greg and told him that I would notify him when I was ready. The roof was fixed in June, and Greg did the work in July. He was very flexible, and even arranged with other clients to change their work start dates so that he could accommodate my schedule. He came out again to reassess what had to be done and began just when he said he would. He was totally professional, punctual (he came 4 minutes late one day!) and he and his assistant were wonderful to work with. He called me on my cell phone during the course of the work any time he had a question. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and did exactly what Greg said would be done. A couple of weeks after he finished, I decided that I wanted more work done, and he came out and did the work. He also came and painted an outside awning while I was out of town.

Greg was reliable, gave a fair estimate and price, and did an outstanding job. He is courteous and prompt, and cares about the work he does and whether the customer likes it. He was very good to work with. Everything looks wonderful.

Greg responded very quickly with an estimate. He gave us a very reasonable quote. He was careful with our woodwork, and covered the floor/stairs as he painted. The entire job took about 2 days start to finish. We were very happy with Greg and his work.

The job went excellent. Greg Sefner's quote was very reasonable and fair. It basically took him a day and a half to replace the stairwell ceiling with drywall and paint it. We could not be happier with the way it looked when he was done and it is almost impossible to see that the ceiling was patched and re-painted.

Great. In and out in the time he estimated, no mess. There was a lot of cutting in that needed to be done around woodwork. Excellent paint job. The rooms looked fabulous. Nice guy. Easy to deal with. Good price. Will hire again. *Highly recommend.

Greg did a wonderful job on the work at a reasonable rate. The results exceeding my expectations. He was on time, on budget, cleaned up, provided good information on the work required and options, etc. And he's a good guy. I would definitely hire him again.

Greg came by for an estimate the very day I called him and started the following day. He did all of the painting quickly and professionally and was very careful with the apartment's woodwork. He took less than a day and a half to get the entire job done (what would have taken the two of us several days). The cost was very reasonable, considering it included the cost of the paint. I would definitely use him again for future projects.

The old plaster walls in the apartment were in terrible shape, cracks and holes everywhere. Greg did a meticulous job of repair and preparation for painting. The place looked fabulous when he was done. I think the price was fair for the amount of repair the walls needed. Greg was professional, prompt and courteous.
