 + 1 moreGordon called the day before work was to begin to let me know the names of the men that would be doing the work. (I thought that was a nice touch in that I knew who would be at the door the next day and it also validated that his crew was coming and that we were prepared for them.) The job called for the old damaged ceiling to be removed and a completely new ceiling installed. During the demolition process, an electrical issue was discovered. John and Alphonso were able to correct the problem (to code) and the installation proceeded. The new drywall sofit looks great and gives the recroom a nice finished appearance! All in all, working with GR General Contracting was a very positive experience! The work was professionally completed and the staff were great to work with! I felt the job quote was fair. We are looking at another project in spring and I look forward to working with Gordon and his crew again. I would HIGHLY recommend GR General Contracting to anyone!
Description of Work: The basement rec room drop ceiling replaced and a new drywall soft was built.

Description of Work: The provider when called informed me they do not service my area. I informed Angie's list because I purchased a Big Deal for an advertised service. Angie;s list said they would get me someone else when I called about this but no one got back to me.

 + -1 moreGordon Rudd himself called to set up the appointment, which pleasantly surprised us. His worker came to the house at time and date arranged and did a very good job--we could tell a difference immediately. We want to have him come back in the spring to work on the outside of the windows and doors (coupon was for interior only).
Description of Work: We bought the Big Deal coupon for winterization of up to 25 windows and 3 doors for the price.
