Great work! The new tub surround and kitchen sink turned out looking very nice. He was very detailed in is work and his cleanup was outstanding. We had the tub refinished at the same time and John worked well with that contractor.

It went well. A little paint splatter on the hardwood and some spots a little light and some paint on the ceilings got paint. But job was done faster and patching was awesome. And price was awesome!

I searched high and low for a quality handyman to take care of a sizable kitchen space in my home that was in desperate need of updating. Being a bad mix of shabby, peeling wallpaper and off-white paint I braced myself for extensive, time-consuming repairs and a hefty invoice. However, much to my pleasant surprise, JW Painting and Decorating Service was by far THE best choice for an expert job at incredible value. As large as these several problem areas were, John Woloszyn got down to work fast and stayed on diligently until end of day EVERY day. With painstaking attention to detail, he still managed to finish in half the time I was quoted by others. And for $800? You just won't find a more favorable price or a more honest businessman. Would definitely recommend again (and again).

JW fit me in relatively quickly.  The jobs were the type of jobs they could do as fill in work and they did.  I've used them before for interior work and the work was done very well.  The painting of the porches was no exception.  The only complaints might have been that it took them a little longer to get back to me when I originally called and the price might have been a little higher than I expected.  But I'm willing to pay a little more if I'm confident that the work will be done well.

Work was performed by the owner.  He is very exacting about the work he does and provides excellent cleanup on a daily basis.   He is competent and tends towards perfectionism.  If he does not know how to do something he will tell you.  His prices are exceptionally reasonable.  There were some issues with communication but once addressed were corrected.  I would hire this business again in a heartbeat.

The front porch has received rave reviews from our neighbors who upon seeing the craftsmanship have also used his services.  All of the work performed is completed with detailed precision and quality workmanship.  I would use this service with absolute confidence for any household maintenance and building projects.  Not only is this quality work at an extremely reasonable rate but this is a workman who will not hesitate to refer you to an appropriate expert if he feels the task is beyond his service ability.  That is my ultimate fear in hiring contractors....in their zeal for work they may not be discriminating about the limits on their ability to present a quality project and will barge ahead taking triple the time and with a third of the quality.  The owner will communicate with you throughout the process and will correct anything that is not up to his high standards---not that I have witnessed anything that I would not have thought was perfectly acceptable.  If you are looking for someone you can trust, with great quality and value this is the business to use.
