Initially wanted deal in Angies list but told the sq footage was larger than deal stated - not sure that was true. But they were willing to negotiate and came close to the second/third quotes we had so we decided to go with this vendor because we liked the ratings and reviews they have - so we were willing to pay a little more once the revised quote given was closer to others (within a couple hundred).
Some scheduling challenges initially but once timing was confirmed they were very punctual and came when they said they would.
Completed in two days - could have done a little better on the clean up part (i.e. found nails in driveway after first day and some debrie after completion and small things like some gutter shields not replaced etc.) but once they were told of the concerns they addressed them immediately and professionally.
Crew was very nice.
It looks great and we are happy to have it completed before winter sets in. Looks like a quality job but haven't had it long enough to know if any issues exist.
We were torn between giving an excellent or good overall rating... quality of work was excellent and some of the service related items listed above made rating good (however they followed up on concerns very well).
They told me the job could take 2-3 days. They arrived early on stated date with a dozen workers. The entire job was completed in one day! The workers were there late into evening cleaning up and asked when they were done, if there was anything else I needed. A few days later the Owner came by to ask me if I had any concerns and took a ladder and walked the entire roof and inspected the work done. He was at my home for a hour or so checking all the details of the work.
.We are currently awaiting funding in order to schedule the work.
I took advantage of the special, but mentioned to Kelly that I had seen a previous review from a fellow Angies List colleague who complained about their service. Kelly assured me that they resolved the issue, so I went ahead allowed the work to be done to the roof of my home. I experienced excellent service with Reimer Roofing and Remodeling and all the roofers were professional. I was informed every step of the way. It only took 1-2 days to get the roof totally complete. I will use their service again.

this list, and have been satisfied with all of them except Reimer R&R,
which has been the most disappointing contractor experience of my life.
The customer service is nonexistent, and it is impossible to reach anyone by email or telephone.
During the powerful 2008 winter storms followed by
torrential rains through the following spring, my roof was damaged and leaks to
the interior developed.
I obtained 3 estimates and hired Reimer to do the work. They
said the roof looked relatively new, under 10 years old and only the half
facing the wind direction needed replacement.
While cleaning the yard after the winter thaw in the spring
of 2011, I found several shingles in my yard, and noticed ?bald spots? on the
roof, and other loose shingles still attached the roof. I notified Reimer of
the problem by email and got no response.
I notified them again by email in July and got no response.
I also tried calling and only got voicemail, left a message, and was ignored as
usual.
As the shingles fell like leaves over the next few years, I
called and emailed a number of times again and was ignored.
After recent storms and high winds this year, I found a number of
other shingles in my yard, I called them last September, got voicemail, and
left a message. They have not called back to return my call. I called again in October,
got a voicemail, and left a message for them to give me a specific time and
date when there would be an actual person to pick up the phone. They called
back when I was not around and left a message ?sorry we missed your call?, but
did not specify when to call back.
I emailed them again on Monday through AL, but never got a respose back.
I need to have this taken care of soon. I have to wonder if
they are stalling until the warranty expires.
At this point I have given up hope that Reimers will make good on their guarantee and repair the damaged roof in keeping with their guarantee, and will have to hire another contractor to redo it. I will be giving them a negative BBB review/complaint and will look into addressing this in small claims court.

From day one Reimer was the right choice. Kelly, the owner, was punctual, returned calls, kept his schedule, completed the work on time, was flexible with extras I wanted and cleaned up adequately. His supplier shipped the wrong siding but Kelly got the correct siding in a few days and got right back to work. Easy to work with.
I checked pricing with two other larger, well known firms and they were considerably more expensive.
Totally satisfied.
