Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for a Roof Tune up for $49.00. He was suppose to evaluate the condition of my roof. He was supposed to check the flashing around the chimney, a general check up on the gutters, and the general condition of the roof.

The results were amazing. We wish we had used him from the beginning. He and his team were quite friendly and professional. I highly recommend them and plan on using them in the future.

The owner and crew were wonderful, worked quickly, and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Our roof looks great. On top of all of that, owner Nick gave us a great tip for making a repair to our front door, and that tip saved us from the big expense of replacing the entire door. You can't go wrong with this company! We give them an A+++++!!
Description of Work: We had a complete roof tear off on house and garage, with replacement of some plywood sheathing, and installation of shingles and the addition of a ridge vent on our garage.

+ -1 moreWe contacted High Quality Contracting to do an estimate for our Basement Remodel Project. Nick contacted me that day to schedule a day to view the space, take measurements and discuss our project. An appointment was scheduled and Nick came out himself for the estimate. The discussion went very well and he said he'd be able to provide a detailed estimate in two weeks. During that two weeks he also provided two references, which I contacted and both gave extremely positive feedback regarding Nick and his work. Eleven days after the initial meeting, Nick provided the estimate. After reviewing I contacted him to discuss some questions that I had and he spent about an hour on the phone with me answering my questions. Our decision came down to High Quality Contracting and another company, and the decision was actually a very difficult one to make because we liked both companies. We ultimately went with the other company, primarily because they had provided the first estimate and we had developed a good rapport with them. But if not for that we would have had no concerns about going with Nick, and informed him that we'd strongly consider going with him on any future projects.

+ 2 moreWe were very pleased. I paid for the storm doors at the end of December as there were some tax credits. The roof and gutters were $3500 and doors were $2300. We know that other people in our sub-division who have used them and they are also very pleased. We did get some other quotes but his price was excellent. He definitely was good about calling back.
Description of Work: High Quality Contracting Inc did our deck, roofing and also some other work for us in July of last year. He did patio door for us and also some couple of storm doors.

+ -1 moreI called High Quality Contracting, Inc. in regard to a roof leak that occurred in my attic over the winter. The leak wasn't a recurring event. Nick Wegner came out on Tuesday, Sept. 27th and even before climbing up to inspect the roof, diagnosed a problem with a vent pipe incorrectly installed 8 years ago by a different roofing company. Nick inspected the roof and provided a verbal estimate to correct the vent pipe installation as well as fix some other minor problems in addition to removing and replacing the downspout on the north side of the house. He also needed to pick up shingles to complete the job. I told Nick to go ahead and schedule the work as weather and his schedule permited. Work was completed on Friday, Sept. 30th.
Description of Work: A roof leak occurred in my attic over the winter. The roof needed to be inspected and the leak corrected. Downspouts on the north side of the house also needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreI struggled a little bit with the communication. When I first called him they came out pretty quickly for a quote and was responsive, but subsequently we've had a little trouble. I liked the bid they gave me, but was a little taken back because they wanted some money upfront if they did the job. It was around $4000 to fund materials, but I'm not a big fan of that. Honestly, I haven't heard back from in a couple of months so I'll probably source the job to someone else. The gentleman that came out was the owner, I really enjoyed him and he really appeared to know what he was talking about. He was very thoughtful about what we were talking about and what we were trying to get accomplished. He's fairly small and good for him because he's fairly busy.
Description of Work: High Quality Contracting came out to inspect a job for me and give me an estimate. I had them come out a second time to adjust what they were proposing to meet more what my needs were.

He was pretty booked up with jobs when we hired him, but worked very hard to stick to the schedule he gave us, and was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. His crew was friendly and willing to accommodate some of our special requests. I run a business out of my home and have clients coming and going, so there were times that I asked Nick to work around my schedule, or his crew to park so as not to inconvenience my clients. I also have a number of pets (and at that time had a new litter of puppies) and the crew was sensitive to their need to go outdoors occasionally with a break from the loud noise of their work. The crew worked fast. Most of the job was done inside of two weeks. High Quality subcontracted the painting work and the tuckpointing. I was able to meet both subcontractors and discuss the jobs with them -- I found both of them to be professional, efficient, and responsive as well. Nick was adaptable when I changed my mind regarding the color of the gutters, etc. Most importantly - the house looks great! It has stood up well to the winter. Nick has remained in touch to make sure I am satisfied, and to help me obtain a rebate from the roof manufacturer. I will be calling upon him again for future home improvement work.
Description of Work: High Quality Contracting removed two layers of roof and installed a new roof on our home (which is a little over 3,000 square feet). They installed new gutters, downspouts, soffits, and facia. They repaired and repainted the portion of our siding that is wood -- this involved treating all the siding for mildew growth, replacing some cedar planks, filling some cracks, and then painting. We have ornamental beams that were rotting - they removed the rotting portions and reframed the beams with a rot-resistant wood-like product and painted those. They painted all the window and door trim on the house. They tuckpointed the stone siding on an addition (which badly needed it). Additionally, while they were working on our house, we purchased a gate to keep our dogs out of part of the house but it was too wide for the door frame. Nick took the gate home and cut it down so that it would work for us.

Once I signed the contract it was about six weeks until the project was started. The actual project went faster than I had anticipated, it was finished in 4 days which was attributable to a large organized crew who worked long days.
Description of Work: Removed existing cedar siding and old rain gutters. Installed vinyl siding, soffits and aluminum fascia and gutters. Removed all debris.
