+ -1 morePretty well. All was done is an efficient manner. And they all seemed very professional. Nick is very pleasant, professional and easy to talk to. The only complaint I have is that we paid two hours for the plumber and although he had time left over from the job in the upstairs bathroom he did not want to fix some things we had in the downstairs bathroom without further charge. I think that given he had extra time he could have taken care of the other needs we had in the house. But, overall, I would highly recommend Nick. He is very good and very efficient. Price was okay for the bathroom. We found the price on the two window job a bit high: $1,500.

The owner was very professional and punctual. The work was also very neat as they cleaned up after the project was done. There we no don'ts. Overall we really liked the company and would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreNick quoted the job several months earlier as part of an insurance claim "rebuild." We had not decided on the materials and, for a variety of reasons, delayed acting on the job until the time frame for reimbursement of "recoverable" costs had nearly expired. Nick worked us into his company's busy schedule within a few days. He also guided us through the paneling selection process online, picked up and brought the materials with him. His people, Kevin (and Robert?) were punctual, professional and thorough. Installation of the paneling, finishing touches (door frames), etc. was accomplished in about half a day. We decided a couple of days later hat we wanted to add base moulding (not required due to the finish of the panels) and called Nick back. We selected the moulding on-line and again provided SKU numbers -- there was no exact match to the wood grain/paneling --to Nick. Nick determined the less expensive moulding was a better match and Kevin arrived with it about noon. He was finished in about 1.5 hours and the installation so professional, one has to look closely to even see the moulding. Nick's sensitivity to the financial restrictions/time constraints allowed us to successfully file for the recoverable costs. We are extremely pleased with the finished look of the basement rec room and intend to have Nick/High Quality crew back within the next several months for improvements on our garage. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Removal of existing wall paneling; pick up and installation of new paneling on two walls in rec room. Came back @ request within a week to install base moulding.

+ 0 moreThe owner, Nick inspected the roof and determined that the roof was not the source of the problem. Our fireplace chimney was crumbling and water was coming in through the breaks in the brick. The second smaller chimney needed to have full tuckpointing done. I asked for an estimate, and it took about 2 weeks. When I did get a hold of Nick, he was telling me that he was very busy. The estimate I received was high. I had another opinion on the roof/chimneys done through another Angie's List Big Deal from a competitor and it was done in a more timely manner. It was also a more reasonable price. The second company did the work on an emergent basis and at a better price.
Description of Work: The roof was inspected to find a source of water leakage into our family room.

+ 0 moreNick responded to my phone call, came to our home and quickly identified both the source of the leak and the appropriate solution of the problem. He arrived with his colleagues since it required more than one person to fix.Tthey efficiently performed their job. Nick and his fellow workers were polite and professional. It did take a bit of coordination to arrange the repair so that it worked for both our shedules after his first visit to diagnose the problem. However, it was not a substantial delay and the excellent service was worth a small wait.
Description of Work: The lower level mailbox and its contents were wet after any precipitation prior to the repair. A leak in the upper front porch of our duplex was identified and repaired. All remain dry now.

They would need various types of, I don't know, armatures and pulleys I think, so they suggested I call and get my money back from Angie's List, since they couldn't perform the offered service. Then we looked at some damage to a corner of the roof, and they gave me a quick estimate, that would include all the extra equipment they would need for safety. I thanked them, vice versa, and they left. I was impressed with their demeanor, their honesty, their efficiency (checking with me while they were in my area, instead of making an extra trip from Franklin to Racine), their friendliness yet professionalism. When I have the money for the roof repair, I will definitely use them, and I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Thank you for bringing them to my attention, Angie's List!

+ -1 moreNick and his crew of 2 other men were very prompt at 7:00 AM and work took about 2 hours. Roof still looks a little bumpy where they repaired the buckling and he said that more shingles could pop up as time goes on. This is due to the previous roofers inadequate work. I did find several long nails around my house which I wasn't happy about but all in all it was a good experience. Update: 12-5-12 as the sun heats up the shingles, my roof looks less bumpy. I'm happy with the job and would recommend this company.
Description of Work: Repair on 2 buckling spots on my roof. Remove old vent pipe and cover area. Nail down ridge vent and nail down and glue other shingles popping up.
