I hired Maid Brigade to do a one time cleaning when my regular cleaning person was on vacation - I had hired them in the past. While the work done was very good the charge was shocking - twice what they had charged previously. When I called to discuss the owner was dismissive and patronizing. I have hired many cleaning services, and have never been treated so rudely. I paid the bill but will never hire them again.

Every time there is a problem they send out a new team but they problem keeps happening over and over again.  They have taken me for granted. I have tried to work with them and be understanding but it gone to a point where I feel like they are taken me for granted. I should not have to work so hard to get my house cleaned. I have pictures when they left there is still dust. After 10 weeks of back and forth communication the company replaced a picture frame that they had broken while they were here, even though I am still frustrated that the service was difficult, I appreciate the fact that they acknowledged their wrong and sent me a new frame.

She sends up a flyer that has 50 to 60% off on the first cleaning. So, I took them. The girl who comes in is good. I wanted somebody else who is younger than I am. I wanted somebody who is single. I didn’t want to feel bad about some old unpleasant cleaning, when I’m still younger I handle my own cleaning. The girl is perfect. She is single, no boyfriend and she had no kids so I didn’t have to feel so bad for her that she had to wash my bathroom. It was good. They were very good and they have to be. Lizzie, the owner, is very good. I’m very flexible so they’ve never been late and if they have been, they told me about it.

They started to put charges on my Mastercard without my approval and that led to a couple of other things. The cost of their services depends on the size of your house. They were great for a very long time and then two years ago I started to notice some administrative changes, changes in their office people and that did not go very well with me. The actual cleaning done by the people who were actually in my home was always very good. It was the administrative charges that were bad. I'm not sure what was going on in that company, the communication was poor.

We have been using Maid Brigade for years. The managers are very responsive to any concerns like "please dust the ceiling corners for cobwebs." They also have been easy to reschedule around holidays and travel.

We joined a monthly service so that our schedule had preference over others.  However, after we did, our normal day of the month schedule was "bumped" around holidays in favor of other clients.  So, we don't get the cleanings prior to major holidays that we would otherwise be scheduled for.  Extra things that are visibly in need of cleaning are often skipped because they are not on the regular cleaning list of activities.

The teams that have cleaned my house have been extremely professional. Some are more thorough than others, but I now request a certain team. Keeping up with my dog's shedding is a full-time job and they are always happy to help. As far as cost, it seems a bit high to me, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. Given that you have at least two people cleaning, I suppose it's fair. I trust them in my home completely. It's such a good feeling to come home to a beautiful, clean house.

I have been using the services of Maid Brigade for two years and have been generally very happy. The service starts with a deep cleaning which is usually made up of a team of 3 with a supervisor in attendance to get an overall look at the job. Thereafter, a two-person team maintains. The team members have always been friendly but professional, attentive to special instructions and are always willing to do any extras that you may need. When possible, the company tries to make sure that you work with the same team at every visit. The supervisory staff has always been extremely responsive to any issues or concerns and maintains a close eye on quality control. Where it has been within their power to be accommodating to schedule changes, etc., they have been more than willing to work with us. Since we have pets, I also like the fact that they use non-toxic products. I think the price charged is fair for what they do at every visit, which includes cleaning hardwood floors throughout the entire house, cleaning wooden mini blinds throughout the house, vacuuming rugs and furniture, dusting and polishing furniture and cleaning both the kitchen and bathroom, including cleaning the microwave. They also held the prices in check for almost two years in a recession before they increased the cost by only $3.00! I have not listed a cost below because every house and job is different. I would definitely recommend this provider.
