Owner and family members that work at shop are not especially friendly. On my last visit I requested 4 new tires and provided a specific Continental model that scored well in Consumer Reports. I also provided a printout from TiresPlus so that I would get a competitive price from Bay View Service. I returned to pick up my car, and found 4 tires from some oddball Korean company mounted up (, which I did not specify. I was told they couldn't get the Continental tires, but I was still charged the same high price for these generic ones. I said I was surprised no one called me to get my approval beforehand. The owner's 20-something daughter made most of the decisions about the tires in my absence, apparently. The owner then took me out to the car to point out all the rating markers on the tire sidewall to help assure me that they were going to be just as good as the Continentals I had specified. I have since taken my business elsewhere.

They were just ok. They had not installed the new tires properly for my car. They had also done some work for my dad's car and had not re-tightened some of the bolts, which could have seriously injured him. Those were a couple of examples of what went wrong but they were very apologetic and gave me a free oil change. I have not gone to them since then.

I was pretty happy with them. They got me in when I wanted to get in and looked at my vehicle. So they were very professional. I wouldn’t be able to comment much on their price because I don’t know if it was a good or bad price. They were timely and helpful. I felt that it was a great price. I would use their services in the future too.

The winterization check turned up some bad wires or plugs that had to be replaced. They had to order the license plate bracket and when it arrived, they put it on my car within 10 minutes.
