Dryer died over a weekend. Called on Monday, first available appt was Wednesday morning. Technician was friendly, capable, and efficient. When repair was complete, he explained issue, how we might prevent in future, and asked if there was anything else he could address while he was there (since trip charge was already applied). My only gripe is that they schedule in 3-hr windows (mine was 9a-noon). They call 20 min ahead, which is great...but finding a 3-hr window of time that I could be available was difficult.

Our freezer had been running warm on and off for the past couple of months. It was hard to call for service because it seemed to be not working on a weekend or a day when I couldn't be home for a service person to come and then working fine a day I was home. It finally seemed to not be working on a weekday when I was home, so I wanted to find someone to come out that day. I called 3 different places based on Angie's List Reports, and Appliance Services was the only one who was able to come that day. I had to call back after 9:30 to find out the exact time window, but figured that wasn't a big deal since they were able to come on short notice. The service guy called when he was on his way and arrived very promptly in the time window I was given. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly - the fridge needed a new motherboard. He had one on the truck and was able to complete the repair in well under an hour. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went very well. My only hesitation in not giving all A's is that the replacement latch was white, and the original latch was black. This makes no difference in the functioning of the latch, and only a slight difference in appearance, but the black would have looked marginally better. I didn't want to wait for a different color or schedule a return visit, so I went with the white latch. It seems that the color of the latch could have been a question that was asked during the original call to schedule the visit.

The repair was completed to our satisfaction but required two separate appointments. This was frustrating because during my first call to schedule an appointment, I described the problem, stated that I thought the front and back felts needed to be replaced, and provided the brand and model number for the dryer. The person taking the call said they stocked the felts on the truck, gave the approximate price (which was accurate), and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. When the technician came out to our house, in a matter of minutes he looked at the dryer and explained he would need to order the felts and come back for the repair.

Having to take time off from work for two appointments was frustrating when I was initially told the parts were stocked on the truck. It was also difficult to plan for the appointments because the company could not provide an approximate time for the repair until after 9:30 in the morning on the days our appointmetns were scheduled. While the repair was completed to our satisfaction and the technician was professional, I would have called someone else if I knew in advance it would require two appointments and limit the use of our dryer for a week.

I called to make an appointment to get our washer fixed and the person said they could come out next week .i asked if it was at all possible to come on friday as I had a mountain of laundry piled up and needed some of it for next week. He said they would try to squeeze me in between 12:30 and 4. He called me around noon and said he was on his way. He got here about 12:30 and was out in about half an hour. he answered any questions I had, explained common things that go wrong with washers like mine. Also informed me that sometimes when something like a waterheater is installed that it can back up stuff in the line and clog it and that ended up being what it was (as we had just had this done a couple weeks ago) (which is something we were not aware happens) Wrote up my bill, and was on his way. I would call them again. I thought the charges were fair and he did not waste (my time/money) chatting about things.

The serviceman was professional, fairly quick, and quite prompt. It really helps that the company can give you a half hour warning to show up at the house. I didn't waste any time waiting at home, and the serviceman was already waiting in the van when I arrived. He replaced the motor in under an hour, and the dishwasher is fine again. One caveat: I would strongly advise guarding your wooden floors with carpets or mats and stressing the importance of protecting them. Our newly refinished floor was gouged by sliding the dishwasher out. Other than refinishing the floor, there's no way to fix this. I would still invite them back for other repairs, but I'd be much more careful about stressing the need to keep the floor protected.

A part needed to be ordered--the technician was supposed to call the next day with an estimate but never did. A few days later the scheduler called to make the follow up appointment and he was able to give me an estimate. He also said that since we were scheduling further in advance he'd be able to give me a better estimate of when the technician would arrive--not true. A five hour window doesn't help much. It would have been nice if they'd told me that they did work on my side of town in the afternoon, as I found out later. But the work got done quickly once the technician arrived.

Went fine. At 7:00pm on a Friday night we discovered that our fridge/freezer wasn't functioning. We were panicked with the thought that we'd have to wait until Monday to have someone come and take a look. I called Appliance Service Unlimited and their oncall tech came within the hour. He did a thorough check and ensured us that it should be fine by the morning, which it was. It was a bit costly ($180), but we didn't complain given the responsiveness at 8:00pm on a Friday night.

They had appointments within an reasonable timeframe. The first time he came out, he diagnosed the problem and stated he had to order a part that would be available in about a week. He called a few days later with a price estimate so that I could decide whether to replace the dryer or have it repaired. The part ended up taking over a week to arrive. I sheduled the second appointment, thinking the part would be replaced and I'd be back to drying clothes. No such luck. He stated that he was following the diagnostic information they are instructed to follow and the part wasn't the problem after all. Another part was ordered, this one being much cheaper and only taking two days to arrive. Sure enough, on the third visit, he was able to get the dryer working again. My only frustration was that they didn't bring out the cheaper $20 part on the second visit when they brought the $200 part. It resulted in my having to be home three days. He was very courteous though and seemed just as frustrated as I was with the additional trip.

I found water on the floor and it had been leaking for a while because the flooring was being damaged. I called the repair shop and they could do it the next day. We were going away the next day for the weekend and I didn't want to leave it for four more days. The receptionist said they would try to work me in and they did. I was very satisfied. The repair man was knowlegable and quick. The trip charge was 57.95 and 14.00 for the service. So far I am very pleased.

It went really well. The appliance store where we bought the dishwasher told us it would take two trips. One to assess the problem and another to fix it. That would have been a problem as both my wife and myself work. They also indicated that the initial trip change would be a minimum of $80. When the Appliance Service repairman came, he had the parts on his truck because he said they see a lot of these broken springs, so they have them on the truck. Their trip charge was $57, and he replaced both springs for $130. He also noticed that the gasket was getting worn and told us how to replace it ourselves. We were very happy with the service.
