10/1/13 - Requested a number of company's for an estimate for a large tree removal. 10/3/13 - Eon (My Tree Guy) setup an appointment to review the tree. 10/4/13 - Eon stopped, wrote the estimate and left. 10/8/13 - All estimates were delivered, we chose My Tree Guy. 10/11/13 - 1st attempted schedule, weather and other things we re-scheduled for 10/23/13. 10/23/13 - Eon and his team of 2 arrived on time, unloaded the truck and started 45 minutes later. The process took about 6.5 hours and everything was don as requested. Eon took the time to explain everything he and his team were doing during the difficult cuts. No damage to either the neighbors or our house. The neighbors were happy, we were happy and the pocketbook was real happy. Eon's price beat the competitors' by $1,000 to $1,900. It was an easy choice. I would recommend My Tree Guy to any one of my friends or family that would be looking for a tree service!

It went great. Eon and his team were prompt and they did everything they promised and more (I asked last-minute if he could trim some small branches from a tree/shrub blocking a path in the backyard, which they did free of charge). The trees look great and they did a fantastic clean-up job -- they not only picked up whatever branches came down from the trimming, they also swept up hundreds (if not thousands) of tiny leaves/seeds from the ash that had collected on our driveway's pavers. I think they also raked our lawn. Eon was not only the most responsive, he also had the best price out of the three companies to give me estimates. I will definitely ask him back to prune an oak that can only be done once the weather gets colder.

Eon runs a relatively small operation, but he seemed to have the relevant background and experience. He replied to my request for an estimate within 24 hours, scheduled a visit to provide the estimate the next morning, and did the work early the following week. All other services I contacted were much less available and seemed no more professional or capable. We were satisfied with the work provided.

We are glad that we chose Eon and his crew. He is personable, knowledgable and prompt. He let us know when he would arrive and what he needed from us in advance. He and the crew cared a lot about the work site and there was minimal stress to the lawn from equipment. He did everything he said he would do. Eon is our new tree guy!

My Tree Guy was one of 4 bids we solicited for the tree work. Although he was not the least expensive, he was the most knowledgeable Arborist of all the bidders, and was very affordable. He was also the most prompt, of the 4, in responding to our call. When he came to do the bid, he was very personable, took the time to answer our many questions, and was flexible in working out what we could contribute to offset some of the cost. Moreover, he was as committed as we were to saving the rest of the tree. (one contractor suggested we just take the whole tree because and quot;silver maples are just big weedsand quot;, and another said to call him after we got all the other bids so he could price it out according to theirs!) It was a no-brainer. Eon got the job. He gave us ample notice of his arrival date, allowing us time to clear the yard of patio furniture, bird feeders and accumulated gardening chatchka. In deference to the night workers and late sleepers in our area, we requested he not begin before 10:00 a.m., which he complied with -- without complaint . It was the first time EVER that a contractor put good-neighbor relations ahead of an early quitting time. Eon arrived on time, fully prepared, with Marco, and a chipper. They worked non-stop for hours until I finally harassed them into taking a water break because neither of them had even stopped for lunch. Tree work is always dangerous and this job was made more so by our delaying the work for so long. The branch was rotted inside for nearly 6-7 feet making both the cutting and the 'drop' a less predictable process. Remarkably, their was no damage to the yard, fences, other trees, or garage. They worked steadily, in close quarters, cleaning up as they went along. The two of them did the work of 4 men, stayed extremely focused, and seemed to anticipate one another's needs and concerns. It was akin to watching a dancer and a choreographer work together, only 60 ft off the ground! Without it's center trunk for stability, we took Eon's advice and had him 'tip' the lateral branches to keep the Maple from twisting in strong winds. It added nominally to the cost of the job and survived 65 mph winds without any calamity or tears to the remaining limbs. And the best part of all? The tree looks fantastic. In the past, our tree trimmers get up there and suddenly go lumberjack on the job. It always turns out looking like a bad haircut that will take 30 years to grow back. Everyone notices the missing parts. The finest trimming should look tidy, but not as if anyone had been there at all. Eon has a natural eye for shaping and balancing the remaining tree so that it didn't look butchered after the damaged parts were removed. If you want a tree technician, I'm sure their are many as talented as Eon and Marco, but if you have a smallish 'city yard' that shares a view with multiple neighbors you will appreciate the artistic 'finish' that keeps the tree balanced and beautiful from all angles.

I called Eon when in search of someone to spruce up my yard and cut down some trees that did not fair well in last years drought. He called me back within an hour or two and came up the next weekend to give me a quote. We agreed on a price and he said it would be after Memorial day before he could get back up for the job. I said cool. Well he called me on Memorial day and asked if could come up that afternoon to do the job. I said Yes! He was early and threw in some pruning for free! My yard looks great and I have a ton of firewood for the cool nights ahead. Thanks Eon and crew!

Eon and his crew did a great job. The job was rather tricky as my tree was hanging over the neighbors lot and garage. They removed it without a hitch. Eon is very responsive to customer calls and was easy to work with. I will hire Eon again if the need arises.

Eon is a real nice guy. He answered the phone when I called, and came out the next day to give me an estimate, which was reasonable. He came out the next week, and trimmed up two trees in my front yard, got rid of two big ugly bushes for me, also cut up some brush, removed some bushes from my backyard, and hauled it all away. Did a good job, good clean up, and left the place looking great.

His price was very reasonable. It was like $100 to take down a tree. It wasn't a huge tree, but he's a super reasonable guy. I deal with Eon Dinauer. He's easy to get along with. He hauls everything away and he's very tidy. I use him a couple of times every summer.
