In the beginning we had a few road bumps and misunderstandings; but once resolved everything turned out as well as could be expected. The installers were very curious and caring of our home and worked diligently from start to finish. Even working into the evening hours, they made the extra effort to vacuum any dust or wood shavings and show us how to operate our windows. The lead installer noticed a small blemish in one of our screens and automatically placed an order for a brand new one. We are very happy with our windows for it has only been a short glimpse into the cold season ahead; we've noticed a huge difference which has made it possible to have curtains open to enjoy natural light which has been an added bonus for our dog. We recommend MadCity Windows to those looking for an improvement in your home not only for a beneficially but also stylish improvement.

Good windows

We have to agree with everyone on the sales pitch being a bit pushy, but we were in the market for new windows anyway. The process from sale and measurements, to final measurements and windows ordered was smooth. We did have a couple delays in getting the windows installed due to issues on Mad City’s end, but were able to get it resolved and the job done. Crew of 3 replaced all the windows in our lower level of the house. They were very thorough and were in and out in 1 day. We did have to file a claim for a damaged screen and to have them put stops on a couple screens and they were able to work with us to be here within a week or so. Since the windows have been installed, we have noticed a huge difference in the traffic noise from outside and are looking forward to seeing the energy savings as time goes on. We would definitely recommend them and will be using them to replace the windows in the upstairs of our home in the future.

The 10 new windows look great and are very efficient the street noise is almost nonexistent now and no more drafts. The independent installer jj construction was very good, they were on time and explained everything and cleaned up afterwards. The only reason for the four stars is because the price was very high.

had a great walk thru and didn't feel pressured at all. Was able to work on the price by changing the items we picked. The sales man was very nice and helpful. We went over everything in detail so we were prepared for the install. The installation team was great and curtious. Explained what they were doing and showed us the process. They cleaned up everything and it was like they weren't there. Went over everything when they were done and made sure we were happy with end result. Very glad that we used them and would do it again

We recently had Mad City install windows. They look great, but very pricey. We did have a few other consultations with competitors. They we all very similar windows, with big price tags, Mad City was in the middle price range. All the sales people we met with were pushy, looking for a quick sale. Offering better pricing if you booked with them that day. Note, they will take you up on their best offer even after that day...Ultimately we booked with Mad City, their window quality was great, the have a transferable lifetime warranty, and their screens were better quality than others. The installation was fast and easy. They had to come back to fix a few flaws after their inspector came through. They worked very professional fixing things immediately, which I appreciate! Windows are a little tough to close. Overall like the window quality, hope they last a lifetime!

Sales person was very high pressure and pushed on finalizing the deal that day. Wished we would have gotten other quotes but ultimately liked the product which is why we decided to go with it. Instillation went okay. Very fast but didn't really explain or ask me if I had any questions. Kind of just went in and out and up and down (3 different guy) through the house, so it was a little uncomfortable. COuld have done a better job at picking up after themselves. Window do look really nice an work great though.

Mad City was quick, professional and got the job done. We replaced all of the old windows in our 100 year-old house, including two very large windows. Now our drafty old home is a cozy and warm home with easy to clean and beautiful windows! The team that did the work was efficient and professional, and they hauled away all the leftover scraps and left us our stained glass window as requested. They even repaired a cracked siding tile that happened on accident during the window replacement on the second floor. A++!

We had our old bathtub removed and turned into a very cool stand up shower! From the estimate to completion, it was an easy process. Installation took only 1 day, and they were very professional. They protected the areas they were working on and they had a supervisor check the work about midday! We are very satisfied with the outcome.

The roof replacement correct a number of issues with the old roof and made the home look great as a result. They are going the extra mile to make sure to correct any cosmetic issues and to ensure we are satisfied with our new roof.

I liked the process for the most part. Installation was easy, staff was professional and friendly. My only complaint was the sales pitch. I get that it's effective, but it's annoying how high pressure it is, and it can be difficult if you're not comfortable saying "no." Be sure to get other quotes first or do your research so you have a good point of reference. You'll probably ending paying more with these guys than other vendors, but the service quality is great, and the 30 year transferable warranty is pretty sick too. Overall, I would recommend.

Mad City windows are transparent, but their billing process is not. We ordered 5 windows from Mad City under a special promotion that was supposed to discount the cost of labor. The windows were installed and paid for. I requested an itemized bill, but I was told that one would not be provided—not even a cost per window. Did we get a fair deal? I could not tell you. In addition, I thought we were getting custom windows measured to fit the space. The windows were installed with raw (unfinished) wood filler pieces. Again, it was not pointed out in advance that we would need to stain the wood to match our sills. There are many choices. Ask questions and request a detailed estimate in advance. I wish we had.
