Just brought home a new mini schnauzer after having to put my 12-year old schnauzer girl down last year . . . was not totally satisfied with some of the things at my prior vet, so I went looking for a new one.
I was extremely impressed with Veterinary Village's web site content. I liked how they had emergency services nearby, the facility is unbelievable and the staff is very well trained and professional.
This past visit was an ordinary wellness check and booster shots with a blood draw, nothing eventful. Everything was handled superbly and the experience was great.
The first time I brought him there was when I first got him last Summer, and we had a crazy long wait in the exam room to finally see the doctor . . . but I later learned the reason for that was a couple brought in their don with some trauma (I'm guessing with a car) and it was all hands on deck to try to save the animal . . . so totally understandable for the wait.
The one thing I wish was that I had one doctor who I would see consistently. On two visits, I had two different doctors, and I just feel it's tough to establish a relationship with someone who you don't see consistently. But that said, I cannot say the experiences were poor. I just hope, god forbid, if anything serious happened with my dog, that this would not be an issue.
So far, I am very pleased with Veterinary Village and would highly recommend them.
