I had them look at my basement, so that, when I wanted to choose a contractor, I would have an objective about what needed to be done. They were very good. They were very thorough. They did exactly as to what they said that they would do. They were very objective and I liked them very much.

I was mostly fine with it although, I did have some disagreements. The guy I hired did a thorough job. He gave a thorough report. There was a judgment about some of the cracks along the basement. He suggested that be treated in a certain way and I had a difficult time supporting that. However, there was not any fix. He just did a little work here and there himself and I was just looking for a comprehensive report about what exactly it was going to be. There was one part of this report that was avoidably generalized. I disagreed with that. They charged us for the analysis. I hired him specifically because he was a certified structural engineer and he stamped his report so. I supported everything he did except there were some situations when he wanted to build around the house or change the floor plan of the house. It appeared to be just impossible to do anything with it. Also, he prescribed sealing a crack or dealing with an area of the basement that did not appear to me. We restructured 75% of the basement or more and I just felt that he did not even care that we were closing up the basement raise. I had to call them back a couple of times and they were responsive. I felt like we needed more of a dialogue upon their points so I feel their professionalism had to be better. If he would spend more time on going over with plans, I would probably use him again.

We called Jendusa on a Monday and they came out the following Friday. The engineer looked at the foundation and took many measurements. He told us that we should have some foundation piers installed, and gave a detailed estimate on what he thought the job should cost. He was very thorough and took the time to describe what we should have done. I would use Jendusa again

They were very professional and I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly.

I had a basement wall that developed a crack and also had another basement wall that was tipping in. James Morris an engineer with Jendusa engineering came over and determined that the wall was tipping in by 1 1/4 inch, but, that the basement was quite sound. He said that digging was unnecessary and that the walls could simply be braced. With that advice in writing, I called the Menomonee Falls building inspector who gave her ok for the bracing. This saved us about $5000!

The engineer was on time, made his inspection, and spent the necessary time to explain his recommendations to me.

Mr. Jendusa is very seasoned, experienced and also owns a remodeling company. We are in the early stages of the lawsuit but so far we are very impressed with Mr. Jendusa and his staff.

This was an excellent experience, both in terms of the company's responsiveness (at holiday time no less!) and the work performed. We are now enjoying our finished kitchen with no worries that we have any unsafe conditions in terms of beams, load-bearing walls or other structural issues.

Initially has a little problem getting an appointment, but that was because of his workload and my short timeline. Jim showed up on time on a day he usually takes off from work. He was very professional and technically competent. He spent a lot of time explaining the problems and the fixes. Jim is a Professional Engineer and Board member of the Wisconsin Area Foundation Repair Professionals (www.wafrc.com) and wrote the tech specs for Foundation Repair in Southeastern Wisconsin; something that previously had been left up to individual contractors, and therefore somewhat lacking. I would not hesitate to use him again. I was so impressed; I will consider his design build firm to perform some remodeling work.
