The job was a small one placing 2 new outlet receptacles in an existing waiting room on a 2nd floor of an office bldg. One of the 2 needed separate fuse/ line from the electric panel thought to be on the 1st floor. Jim quoted $500-700 for the job but stated usually "the actual cost is less." After the job was done on 5/2 with the electric panel actually being found on the same floor thus shorter time and line needed to connect a new receptacle I thought the cost would be much less, only to find the final bill greater than $1200. No other discussion took place on the day of job pertaining to the cost by J and J Electric staff. Upon further investigation my understanding of a typical cost to place a new receptacle is about $75. Discussion ensued and tried to charge tax on labor and not just for materials used. He offered to split the difference as best option. Final cost nearly $900 for 2 receptacles. You be the judge.

There turned out to be a lot of extra work behind the walls. Also did as little cutting into the walls as possible making repairs afterwards much easier. They guys were hard workers and very professional. And because of the extra work, extra costs were incurred, and they were very helpful working with me to make payment arrangements.

Called me back first thing Monday morning. Promised service between 1:00 p.m and 1:30 p.m. and arrived at my home 1:15 pm. Perfect. I had to take 3 hours off work but it all got resolved.

Customer service was awesome. They completed the job wonderfully, we are excited about being able to use our microwave and washing machine at the same time!!

Although they are licensed electricians, I think the rate for installing a ceiling fan is very expensive, especially when the junction box is already installed.

Showed-up 35 minutes ealry than what htey told me they were going to be there and was billed for it. Told they were going to be there between 8:15-8:30am and then arrived at 7:40am. Was not happy about that. Overall, they did a great job and things were all taken care of.

The workers did a good job and had a lot of helpful advice for me as a first-time home-owner. I felt they were trustworthy guys. They helped me prioritize what I wanted to do on my budget, and were really good about explaining what they were doing, which was important to me. I do feel that it might have been a little more expensive than other companies, but I don't have a problem paying more if the employees are like the ones I had work on my house.

I have not received an invoice for the work completed.This is why I cant rait the work or the value.Its been almost 2 weeks and I believe that they sent the invoice to the residence that needed the work, not my personal residence.

They arrived during the time that they said they would and completed the job in good time. Very professional; did a great job.

Tim and Mike did an outstanding job at my home. Tim made installing a ceiling fan seem effortless and he was very friendly/courteous. Even though Mike is an apprentice, he was able to do an excellent job of replacing my bathroom light fixture in a matter of minutes. I was very impressed with these two professional gentlemen and I highly recommend this company for any electrical project.

It would be helpful if they would quote service charges over phone prior to coming out.

Not offering free in home estimates created an alternative price than anticipated. Quality of work was good, though.

The electricians that arrived to handle my problem were very fast and efficient. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.
