Description of Work: We met with Kanavas, but then didn't hear back from them for a while. We called them to express our interest in knowing the cost estimate of the work to be done, but again they never got back to us. The communication was poor. Since they didn't get back to us in a timely manner, we'll never know if their services is worth their reputation. Because they didn't respond professionally in a timely manner, we consider it a red flag NOT to go with this company.

Description of Work: Did exactly what they said they would over the course of the summer. Treatment and aeration. Lawn has responded. The specialist, Bryan, had a great deal of knowledge about the process and what to expect.

Description of Work: The bushes were trimmed in winter - where thesnow was in the way, it was not removed. When called back, they cut back so far that the bushes are still dead in most areas even though they told us that they would come be OK. It has been 1 1/2 years! Some of the phone messages that were left were rude to the elderly owner.

+ 1 moreAfter having Kanavas do fertilization for us, I sent a note to them requesting an estimate on edging and mulch services. I received a call within a week with an estimate. There edging was perfect and the mulching was exactly as requested around all of our plants and bushes. I e-mailed them with questions prior to service and received a response within 24 hours.
Description of Work: Edging along sidewalks, red bark mulch, & application of mulch.

+ -1 moreI LIKED THEM, UP UNTIL THIS YEAR. THEY ARE NOT DOING ALL OF THE SAME THINGS THAT THEY DID LAST YEAR, SO I'VE HAD TO CALL THEM AND TELL THEM WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. THIS MAY BE BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS SUPERVISOR IS NO LONGER WITH THEM, BUT I DON'T KNOW. THEY CALL BACK PROMPTLY AND COME BACK TO DO THINGS WHEN I TELL THEM WHAT ELSE NEEDS TO BE DONE. I WOULD RATHER THEY JUST DID THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, WITHOUT ME HAVING TO CALL AND TELL THEM.
Description of Work: USE THEM FOR YARD AND TREE MAINTENANCE. THEY TRIM SHRUBS, CLEAN UP THE YARD, KEEP IT LOOKING NICE. (COST IS MONTHLY)
