One of the sales people for Feldco took my 91 year old father to the bank. They quoted him $3,000 to reinsulate his attic, which is a much higher quote than we have received. The man said my father had to clear out the entire attic before they began the work. He is 91!
Now we are trying to get his money back. On the website, it says there is no money down necessary. However, they asked for $1,500 down. The only way he can get his money back now is if he signs a cancelation.
They should have never taken a Senior citizen to the bank!
Needless to say, today, I met with with a very professional guy from Window World who came in, did his job taking better and more accurate measurements. He even showed me specific things and quoted us $2000 cheaper than Feldco did for one small Bay Window.
If you're in need of a little financing help, Window World offers better options there. Now I'll know who to call when we're ready to have the rest of the windows replaced.

Sure many contractors will provide a quick ‘estimate’ for work, and when the window, door or siding arrives for installation, a lot of the details and questions that were not addressed up front can become major problems for you and your family. You receive a written proposal with a firm price quote, and a company that will stand behind its product, installation and service. They were very good. The salesman was very good and very professional. The installers did a reasonably good job. When there was a problem they fixed it right away. They did an all-around good job. The quality of their windows is very good. I haven't had any problems with them. It?s been so far so good. I got a pretty good deal with the price too.

"First let me apologize for your experience and for anyone at Feldco that you felt was rude to you. Unfortunately we cannot locate your name, address or any details of you setting an appointment with us from this review in our system, so I cannot follow up on your feedback. I can tell you that we normally do require the homeowner to be present for a sales appointment, since that is who needs to contract the project by law. Also, based on our decades of experience, if the homeowner is not present, it allows for miscommunication and mistakes, and often the homeowner is not satisfied with the project. That being said, we definitely do make exceptions when the homeowners are not available by meeting with the parties and following up with the owner. Depending on the availability of our employees, sometimes it’s easier to come into our showrooms, which we have in both Milwaukee and Madison, and discuss the project there. I apologize if you weren’t presented options like these that would accommodate your needs, and again I’m sorry if you felt like we weren’t polite, as delighting customers is our goal.
