One of the sales people for Feldco took my 91 year old father to the bank. They quoted him $3,000 to reinsulate his attic, which is a much higher quote than we have received. The man said my father had to clear out the entire attic before they began the work. He is 91!
Now we are trying to get his money back. On the website, it says there is no money down necessary. However, they asked for $1,500 down. The only way he can get his money back now is if he signs a cancelation.
They should have never taken a Senior citizen to the bank!

We had Feldco come out to give us an estimate for a bay window in a home we just purchased. The sales guy showed up on time, but he spent over an hour and half at our home (after we had JUST moved in, so we had plenty of other things we could have been doing) and at least an hour of it was talking about cars and PRESSURING the sale like I've never seen before. Once we (finally) got the price estimate, I picked my jaw off the floor and told him that it was just not going to happen. He spent another 25 minutes trying to convince us it's worth it, then suckered by boyfriend (a mechanic) out to look at something on his car for him. This guy was so unprofessional it made me sick.
Needless to say, today, I met with with a very professional guy from Window World who came in, did his job taking better and more accurate measurements. He even showed me specific things and quoted us $2000 cheaper than Feldco did for one small Bay Window.
If you're in need of a little financing help, Window World offers better options there. Now I'll know who to call when we're ready to have the rest of the windows replaced.
Needless to say, today, I met with with a very professional guy from Window World who came in, did his job taking better and more accurate measurements. He even showed me specific things and quoted us $2000 cheaper than Feldco did for one small Bay Window.

Punctual and thorough. He was willing to break things down more than other companies we met with, and gave some good tips too, like make sure to recycle the old siding. Unfortunately it was out of our price range right now but I would still recommend them to others.

I was extremely impressed from the moment I submitted a request for a quote on the Feldco website. Within 5 minutes of pressing the submit button, one of their representatives called me to set up the appointment. Our sales rep was really wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, and answered all of our questions and concerns. Our installers were awesome. They were polite and friendly and made sure the windows were installed correctly. We could not believe how quickly all of the windows were installed and it was on the hottest day of the summer. Our new windows have already made a dramatic improvement to our home. I highly recommend Feldco and will use them again.

Gary came to our house for an initial consultation, very knowledgeable about product. Visit took about 2.5 hours, Gary presented quote after the meeting. We waited a few days mulling over the decision but finally decided to go with Feldco based on the quality of the product, price and previous Angies List recommendations. Stopped in the storefront on S. 108th and wrote up the order with Gary that weekend. Nate visited our house the following week to firm up the measurements. Since the windows were custom size and color we waited around 5 weeks through Dec and January for the windows to be manufactured. Called Feldco for a status on the order and we were told they would be ready the next week and that we could schedule the install then. The day of install Gary and Nate stopped out to check on our expectations and see how the job was progressing. Due to the amount of windows and doors being installed two teams of installers were in the house, 4 people total for two days. Windows went in without a hitch, installers were clean, took off shoes, created weather barriers while installing windows and cleaned up after each day’s work. Great product and knowledgeable installers, Frank's workmanship was amazing.

All of the windows seem to be very good quality and are a great improvement over the previous windows, which had lost their seals and were leaking air. The window openings in the upstairs room were a nonstandard size, and the workers adjusted the frames so that they fit very well. They recommended that we use a different grid than came standard with the windows, and they came back to replace those for us. The basement sliding door needed a new threshold, and they constructed that for us, as well. They cleaned up nicely when they finished the work. We have been very pleased with the work and the windows.

There were couple of issues like they had ordered the wrong size of one window but they took care of it within a week or two and gave us a little discount on something else. I was very pleased with their services.

They were very professional, but I was able to find better windows for a cheaper price, and so I did not go with them. It was kind of an unremarkable encounter. He had plenty of written material and stuff but it was just more expensive than I wanted to spend.

Feldco gave me a very high bid and they committed a fatal error with me, they quoted me a high price and then said they would give me a discount if I signed today and I do not do business that way.

I bought the windows on a buy one, get one half off special. The job was great and I have recommended them to a few people already. They do exactly what they say they are going to do and they do it well. They have a good quality product; we checked out several manufacturers before we decided on Feldco. We only found one manufacturer with better windows, but their price was way out of line. They quickly settled any questions that we had, they were here when they said they would be, and they were very professional.

the removal and installation went smoothly. all work was done from outside the house and they kept working until the job was completed ( about 5 hours ). there was no debris left behind.

This project went very smooth. The installers arrived on time and with the proper amount of workers to get the job done in one day. The workers cleaned up after themselves, and left my home looking better at the end than in the beginning. They vacuumed up the dust, they picked up the scrap, and they made sure all garbage was hauled away and the job site (my home) was left neat and clean.

after recieving a call from a feldco rep 4 minutes after e-mailing them everything went like a hot knife through butter. the nice woman asked questions about how many windows we wanted to replace, how old the house was and what would be a good day and time to SEND A REP OUT to give us an estimate. we settled on a day and time 1030 am at 1025 bill our sales rep knocked on our front door. he gave us the presentation measured our windows and made suggestions on our options. he was a true proffesional no pressure and was very thourgh. my wife and idiscussed the pricing and window options and decided to roll the dice with FELDCO. we are so glad we did . our windows were installed today july 26th chuck and chris were amazing they even brought thier own vacumn to clean up with. and clean up they did the installation went smooth installtion great and attetion to detail great. i wouldhighly recomend this company and i hope you have as muchhappiness with thier service as we did. we are going to have them back to finish our front porch. call FELDCO today ask for bill he was great. They were very good. The salesman was very good and very professional. The installers did a reasonably good job. When there was a problem they fixed it right away. They did an all-around good job. The quality of their windows is very good. I haven't had any problems with them. It?s been so far so good. I got a pretty good deal with the price too.

I asked them for several professional references and he told me that there was a government privacy act and I would need to check with a 3rd party (like Angie's List). He then said that he would check with a manager. Upon speaking with his manager he told me that they would respectively decline doing the work for us due to our request for references. This is not our first home improvement project and we have always asked for references, as well as volunteered to be a reference for companies that have worked for us. The representative who came out presented himself very professionally but I am blown away that they will not provide professional reference.

Salesman was very energetic and rushed, as they were in the last three days of the buy one get one sale. He answered my questions, but I don't know that he anticipated my questions as well as he could have had he not been so rushed. I felt a little anxious having to make a decision to get in on the buy one get one sales deadline. (But ultimately, I'm glad I did, as the product is very good and the team who installed it was professional.) The windows were ready to install over a week before they had told me to expect the call, which was a pleasant surprise. They were able to install on a Saturday. The guys showed up on Saturday morning and got to work right away. My two big picture windows were very difficult to remove (the windows broke), in particular the biggest one, yet the guys got it out without damaging my house and cleaned up the glass meticulously. They got all the windows in that day, but had brought the wrong color aluminum trim, so had to return the following Monday to complete the trim work. Returned Monday and completed trim work, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. My only complaint was that the tape from the plastic that they're required to put up now due to the lead paint abatement laws stripped some of the paint off of my repainted siding. They offered to have a guy do the touch up paint, provide me with a credit for Feldco product, or a lesser credit for the balance of my current work. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of the windows that I purchased and the team that did the installation. There were a couple of minor flaws with them bringing the wrong color trim and with the paint stripping, but neither was a deal breaker with me having them do work for me again. My house is already much cooler and quieter this summer with these new windows in.

They refused to come out because they wouldn’t come out unless all parties were present for the estimate and quote. We live in Milwaukee and we refused to go to Madison for a quote. My son in Madison is 25-years-old and I trust his judgment; if he thought they were good, we would have gone with them. I thought this was nothing but a sales job; I felt that their literature and estimates should have been enough to convince us and I did not need to be brow beaten into using their services. I don’t feel I needed to be present when our son acting as our agent would have made the decision. They were also really rude.

I can tell you that we normally do require the homeowner to be present for a sales appointment, since that is who needs to contract the project by law. Also, based on our decades of experience, if the homeowner is not present, it allows for miscommunication and mistakes, and often the homeowner is not satisfied with the project. That being said, we definitely do make exceptions when the homeowners are not available by meeting with the parties and following up with the owner. Depending on the availability of our employees, sometimes it’s easier to come into our showrooms, which we have in both Milwaukee and Madison, and discuss the project there. Their estimate was so much less than the other estimate I had gotten, and for a product that appeared to be at least equal in quality, that I signed the contract immediately. I was also influenced by their being a local company and in business many years, not a new outfit from out of town. They were able to get to the project within a couple of weeks and completed it in one day. Everything went as it was supposed to and I am very happy with the product. It makes a big difference in the temperature of my house on hot days; I open the windows when it cools off at night and close them in the morning and have had to use the air conditioner very little this summer. I am glad that I chose this company.

I signed up for a quote at the Milwaukee Home and Garden show at end of March. The quotation visit was scheduled for days later and the windows were custom made within 3 weeks. Everything turned out great!

The actual installation went very well. The windows look nice. The two installers were very competent, did an excellent job, and cleaned up fairly well afterward. I am disappointed with the windows themselves. I was assured they would provide greater protection from the cold than the ones that were replaced. That is not the case. I can feel cold air when I sit on my couch next to the window. I feel I wasted my money.
