I liked them very much. They came quickly, did the job for a reasonable price, and I was very satisfied. It probably took them 30 minutes.

Very happy with JJ's.  Brian was quick, professional, and kept the size of the hole in the wall to a minimum (really great). I can't remember the last time I called any service for anything with a cost of only $100.  I also had them replace a cracked collar for the toilet and do a list of other minor things on 9/11/2014 and that was taken care of by Steve with equal professionalism and efficiency.  Will absolutely call JJ's for all future plumbing issues.

Due to some existing substandard installation, the PVC kitchen drains from the garbage disposal and the adjacent sink fell off.  And due to the weight of the existing copper pipe connecting them to the wall, and that it was only glued into the wall connection, the copper pipe pulled away from the wall connection.

I called JJ's Plumbing after reading their reviews here, and they replied to my message promptly.  The lady said they could have someone out there in 30-45 minutes to give me an estimate.  I drove the 35 minutes home from work, and Mike arrived shortly thereafter.

Mike explained why the problem had happened and two ways that it could be fixed.  If he could solder the copper pipe back into the wall connection, he could place new PVC drain, traps, and connections to that copper pipe.  This would cost about $150, he said.  He stated that if the solder would not hold, he would have to replace all the pipe under the kitchen sinks, as well as a section of pipe in the wall, including the connection from the bathroom sink immediately opposite the kitchen drain pipe.  That would cost upwards of $350.

I asked when he would be able to do the work, and he said he could get right to it.  I was quite happy to hear that.  The solder held and he connected everything.  He also put in a strap to help hold up the heavy existing copper kitchen drain pipe.

JJ's was able to send someone out right away, not just to give an estimate but to do the work as well.  Mike was very courteous, gave me the options I had, and did a prompt, great job.  I would highly recommend JJ's to my friends and co-workers.

Very professional & responsive.  We had some problems after the first work was done with our water pressure (well water) and they came back and repaired that right away, too.  I will call them again for my plumbing needs.

They were both very informative and did everything they could think of to help with the noise issue.  The end result was great.  The noise is significantly better and it took about an hour to finish.

The JJ's representative arrived within the 2 hour window given and was very pleasant and offered clear alternatives and the costs associated with each alternative.  He conducted the work on the spot and was complete in about an hour all in.  Good guy, good experience and now our outdoor faucet works great.  Many thanks.

Serviceman was prompt,capable, and peronable. Job was done quickly and I am satisfied. More expensive than expected.

They did a great job. My wife was home at the time, and it took a couple of hours to do.

Donna quoted the best price of the three local plumbers that I called.  She did a good job of explaining the options and warranty coverage.  Donna also explained why modern water heaters no longer last as long as they used to (because lead is not used in the steel any more).  She did fail to mention that the water heater that they had in stock was the short (Low) version (rather than the tall GCV 40 model that I originally asked about) but it appears to be an acceptable replacement.
Brian arrived within the scheduled time frame.  He did not mind me watching him work and asking questions (and helping).  He was efficient, courteous and friendly.  Brian appeared to be very concerned about doing a good job (rather than rushing to complete the installation).
In between the water heater installation steps, Brian also repaired a leaking pipe in another part of the basement for a reasonable additional fee.  He was able to remove and replace the very short section of pipe from an existing valve and added a new angle fitting and coupler to complete the repair.
Before hauling it way, Brian even removed the drain valve from the old heater (at my request) so that I could use it for one of my projects.

I called JJ's for a non-emergency repair.  They were able to promptly schedule an appointment.  The technician arrived on-time and was very professional. He explained what needed to be fixed, offered options, and was upfront about the cost.  I will definitely call them again in the future.

Prompt service and replaced one faucet.  Cleaned up afterwards.  Very pleased with service.

The plumber, arrived that morning exactly when they said he would.  I explained the problem to him and how the main sewer line was backing up.  I explained a sure procedure to back up the line (fill up bathtub halfway, drain) and 5 minutes later there was a minor proof that it was plugged.  When i came back down to the utility room with the floor drain, he had cleaned up the previous flooding mess and said nothing of the matter.  Really appreciated that.
He wrote a nice description how he resolved the issue.

I've use JJ's plumbing for 17 years in the Ozaukee County area and have been very happy every time. Great guys, great service at a fair price. You can't go wrong with JJ's from my perspective. I am moving to Waukesha county, and alas, they don't provide service that far away so will be sorry to part ways with them.

I had utilized their services before I became a part of Angie's List. I had done some background research. And after becoming part of Angie's List I did some additional research, of course on Angie's List and found that in general the feedback had mirrored the research I had done myself before I hired them. I have hired them 3 or 4 times to do work on the house. The interaction with them is very positive. They had been described to me as a company that is very conversant with old buildings. And I live in a small city where most of the houses here were built over a hundred years ago. The types of these buildings are brittle and almost a little goofy with today's plumbing standards. Many plumbers don't even want to deal with them. JJ's plumbing knows how to deal with them and fix them while including modern updates and safety advances, they manage to make the final product fit in the old traditional building so nothing looks out of place. They seem to understand what the old painted ladies are supposed to look like and they just update them and they come a little safer  and a little closer to the best technology available without making them look inappropriate.

They are very responsive and do a great job.  When I called they said they only had a 1 - 3 pm slot,  and I said I would then need to take the entire day off of work,  they managed to squeeze me in in the morning.    Arrived when they said,  worked efficiently and  adjusted my pressure valve which was not part of the original service call.   I have used them before with the same experience.  I have had a lower price for similar work which is why I rated them a 'B' on cost,  but highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the work provided. they were professional, efficient and arrived at the scheduled time.  I would definitely use them again.

I needed a gas dryer hooked up but due to work I needed the appointment to be as late in the day as possible.  Melissa in the office was extremely helpful in trying to accommodate this.   The day of the appointment there was a mix up regarding my address because I had recently moved, with the plumber going to my former address.  Even though it was late in the day at this point,  he came and completed the installation.   The gas pipe had been previously split and was not to code, so Mike had to do a little more work than anticipated.  Very happy with JJs.

Our experience with them was very good. They were very prompt and they clean up well. They are very professional and nice men. They are local. I thought their prices were reasonable.
