Well. A big job that took a full week plus another visit for touch ups. Josh Culver, the manager, is easy to communicate with, responsive to any concerns and will not leave you unsatisfied. He went above and beyond for great customer service.

It was a good experience with Culver's Painting from start to finish. Josh is very professional and knowledgeable and patient. He communicated well with us and with the painters. The weather often presented a challenge and so did the worn out wood. Culver's dealt with all of it in stride. I had complete confidence in every aspect of this job, including $, painters, paint color, carpentry (extra). The painters were friendly and hardworking. I would definitely recommend the company.

Culver's Painting just finished the project. Had them apply solid color stain to siding and trim of an outbuilding (24'x48' horse barn), as well as clear sealer to the redwood siding and solid color stain to the trim of the house, They did a great job!!!!! While not the least expensive contractor I contacted, you definitely get what you paid for and more. They showed up exact when they said they would, kept everything neat and clean, worked with me on the order of work to be completed, and always kept me informed as to what was to happen next.
It was a pleasure to have Josh and his emplyees on the site. I'll definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job.

Culver's Painting is awesome, everything you'd want in a professional house painting company. They quoted us a fair price, arrived on time each day, communicated daily about every step in the process, answered any questions we had along the way. The owner and crew were all very respectful and friendly. And most importantly, the three-man crew did an awesome job on our home exterior painting. It looks gorgeous! It was a pain-free job when I wasn't sure what to expect. The painting project from power washing to scraping to painting took four days only.

We had someone give us an estimate to repaint one room in our house
(10x11) and he told us the cost would be around $800!!! ARE YOU KIDDING
ME? There is no furniture in that room and it was professionally
repainted just over a year ago. All we wanted was a new color for the
room. We even had paint they could have used. The guy who came to give
us the estimate insisted we buy new paint from them with a finish that
would not match the rest of the house. We found another "A" company on
Angie's list who thought the paint we had left was perfect and could
finish the whole project for only $200.. Bottom line: Save your money
and go somewhere else!!!

I could've have asked for a more professional job, they were wonderful with my kids and very polite with our schedule. They did an amazing painting job inside and out and if i had a problem they were extremely flexible to make changes and change the colors etc.
I would have them back and refer them above anyone else that i got estimates from in a heart beat!

I have used Culvers in the past but still went out for 3 bids. One was higher one was lower but we picked Culvers because we had worked with them in the past and they were very easy to work with, did exactly what they said they would do and did it right.
One of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms had extensive damage due to a roof leak and were in the older part of the house so the plaster was very damaged. Two young men came in and in about two days had all of the old wallpaper removed and cleaned up, they then primed all of the walls so that the plaster repairs would stick to the walls, the plaster/drywall repair man came in (Josh) and spent the better part of 3 days fixing all of the damaged areas until they were for all intensive purposes gone. He was very detailed and through in all of his work. Following this work three painters came in and and put two coats of texture on all of the walls. When this was all complete they put 2 coats of paint on the ceilings and the walls (3 different colors) and cleaned up.
Every day that they worked they asked what time we would like them to start and then would show up exactly on time, they would come in and go directly to work. They took very few breaks (lunch etc) and pushed through every day until they had finished what they they wanted to for the day.
I really can't say enough nice things about Josh Culver and his staff. They do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. They use quality products (Sherwin-Williams) and don't take any shortcuts. One of the best contractors I have ever worked with and I look forward to working with them in the future.

This is the second painting project I have hired Josh for. He painted several rooms inside my previous home and I was very happy with the results. When I purchased a new home that needed exterior paint on the wood trim (around windows, garage, and eaves) Josh was the first one I called. While his estimate was not the lowest, I knew that I would get my money's worth having Josh and his crew do the work. Josh is extremely courteous, professional, and he communicates with you before and throughout the project. He recommended a specific paint for the job that would give me the long-lasting results I desired, and he came out to put down a few swatches so I could choose a color before he purchased it. His crew thoroughly scraped and primed the trim before they painted, and the entire job was finished in a few days. It probably would have been finished in less time had it not been for the weather. When the job was finished, he contacted me to see if I was satisfied and asked that I let him know if I discovered any spots that needed touching up. Both of my experiences with Josh have been positive and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Everything went great. They showed up on time. Were professional, neat, and did a fantastic job! They power washed before painting, let it dry out and then came back and got the job done very quickly and efficiently. Josh, the owner, came at the beginning of the job and the end to make sure everything was done. They had missed one small spot high up and he took care of it himself. Will definitely be using them again for any painting we need in the future.

Excellent, tell you more in 5 years but they were good to work with and did a nice job. I initially talked with Josh at the Home Show and he followed up quickly, visited and provided a competitive price. His painters came on time, were easy to work with, respectful and did a good job, cleaning up after themselves. Josh checked on progress during the work.

I am pleased with the quality of the work. The price was fair considering that the house had not been painted for more than a decade and needed considerable work. I was always kept informed of schedule changes (of which there were very few). What I particularly liked was that Josh Culver was willing to arrange for a carpenter to replace wooden trim parts that were badly damaged. The coordination between carpenters and painters was excellent throughout the project.

While we ultimately decided not to go in this direction because it was out of our budget, the estimate was thorough. He also took the time to do the estimate while we waited. He also came out on a Saturday, which was much appreciated.
We were looking for the "Honda" option of painting the house. Something functionable that looked nice but not the best money could buy. Culver's offered the "Cadillac" option. I wish we could have gone that, but it wasn't meant to be this year.

I went to the Home Show looking for an interior painter and dry wall repair contractor. I talked to 7 different companies and gave all of them my name and phone number. Only 3 contacted me, only 2 set up appointments to come and give estimate only one was on time and that was Culver's Painting.
When Josh came to my home he was early for the appointment and walked through the job with me asking questions about how and when I wanted the work done. After receiving the other quote along with a recommendation from a good friend that had used Culver's for an exterior job, we choose Culver's to do the work.
The work was scheduled quickly, the dry wall repair contractor showed up on the day and at the time selected along with Josh from Culver's. The 3 of us again walked through the work and I was told that the repairs would be completed in about a day and a half and the painting crew would show up the next morning. Everyone again showed up on time the next morning and while the dry wall repair was finished (along with a little extra work I requested) the painters went to work on the kitchen. They moved through all phases of the job in a neat and orderly way making sure to move and cover all furniture, floors, etc.
The entire job was completed in two and a half days (including dry wall) and it looks perfect.
I would highly recommend Culver's painting for any interior painting that you want done and done right at a reasonable price.

Josh was very prompt in contacting me to come out to provide a quote for painting my kitchen, dining room and hallway going upstairs and all ceilings. He was very polite and even removed his shoes before he came into the house... He provided me with a color wheel and told me to take my time and pick out what ever colors I wanted. He then came back about a week before the job started with quart sizes of the colors to make sure I was happy with the colors I chose.

I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with Josh's work. His price was fair, he was so dependable and whenever I called with a question he was there to respond. The day Josh was scheduled to paint he showed up on time and even came with an additional worker so the room was completed ahead of schedule. He was extremely neat, laid cloths down just to walk through the house and cleaned up completely before he left. He also had me check out the room and immediately fixed any spots that I had a problem with. He even called back the next day to see how we liked the finished room. Josh was the most professional painter I have ever hired and I would not hesitate to use him for any of our future painting jobs. Great Job, Josh!!
