It went on with out any problems. The Wells Fargo people handled every thing from start to finish.

Very responsive and professional. After our first meeting, we communicated mostly via email. We'd definitely recommend Tom to anyone.

We worked with a mortgage consultant, applied for a home loan and received loan committment. We turned in every document they asked for - and sometimes, we had to resubmit the same papers over and over. Well, the closing was approaching fast and we hadn't received our HUD 1 statement or the good faith estimate. We asked and asked and were repeatedly told "it was coming". The closing came and went, and Wells Fargo breached the contract and wouldn't return our phone calls or explain why this was happening, even though we HAD THE LOAN COMMITTMENT they signed!! The seller flew from out of state for the closing and sat around for 3 days doing nothing. They are still not returning my phone calls, 4 days after the closing. Now we have had to find a new lender, and will hopefully close in 3 weeks. We have to pay all the expenses for the seller that he incurred, and we have had to hire a lawyer to go after Wells Fargo to recoup those costs. This will take months. This has been an absolute disaster from day 1. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional bank in my life. I have since found out others have had similar, although not as bad, experiences. Please learn from our mistake, and stay as far away from Wells Fargo as you can. Beware, they provide in-store credit for several local vendors such as WGR Furniture, etc... and once you have their store credit, they will call you and call you, telling you they are attempting to help you get your interest on their credit cards lowered. DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS! This is really a ploy to get you into their office, and try to convince you to refinance your home.
