Great! They worked very hard, and fast.

Joe did a good job, it took a while to get last items done, but went well overall.

We embarked on a large landscaping project in our small yard that included both front and backyards. We employed Joe’s Lawn Service. The major concern was replacing the old retaining wall in the back that was reaching the end of its life. It was built using rail road ties and many of those were rotting. We wanted a block wall to replace it. Other aspects of the project included installing steps in both front and back yards using block and paving stones. In the front we wanted a landing pad for folks arriving in cars. Guests should be able to step out curbside onto a safe spot and ascend to the front door on safe steps – thus avoiding the perilous climb up a steep driveway - often filled with cars – that is factually lethal in winter. Texans were born to shovel a lot of stuff, but not snow. We were new at a landscaping project of this scale and apprehensive in uncertainty, particularly cost and expectation of final result. The final result exceeded expectation and was within the original estimate and budget, with one exception. We changed our mind and expanded one element. It was worth the added expense. We are satisfied with the result. I was rather amazed by the professionalism and expertise employed. The men formed a high performing team of skilled planners and craftsmen. They were always on time. There were no delays. There was no standing around waiting to be told what to do – they knew what to do. When Joe agreed to do something, he did it. For those of us that believe in honest, hard work, it was a true pleasure to watch – as I did daily. The work was heavy, hot, and dusty. They carried in wheelbarrows every bit of block, gravel, sand, and paving stone into a backyard that had no access for a vehicle. And they carried out every old timber. Although my language skills are minimal, they made it easier with their patient, polite demeanors. I guess you could call them gentlemen. I particularly noted their respect for each other. Consequently, I have enormous respect for this outfit.

All the concrete turned out great. It is sloped exactly as requested and the joints blend perfectly with my existing driveway. The gates turned out perfectly as well as everything else they did. Joe was always very responsive from the initial inquiry to the end of the project. He is easy to work with and accommodated the work I added to the project midway through. His crews were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The price was very competitive and he delivered what was requested. Due to size the project I posted a diagram of the desired finished product near the work site, which helped keep everyone on the same page.

Joe gave me an estimate and sent his crew the following week. I ended up adding two more large trees to be pruned. The work started on July 3rd and with the additional work I requested the crew came and finished on July 4th. I am extremely happy with the work and the price. Everything was cleaned up and will recommend Joe to anyone who needs tree work done

Joe and his crew do an excellent job! I have used Joe's service for about 3 years and will continue to so so. I have one of the nicest looking yards on the block. I have gotten compliments on how nice my lawn looks. He comes once a week and is very professional. He knows I have dogs and always makes sure the gate is closed when he's finished in the back yard which is very important to me. I highly recommend Joe's Yard Service!

At first, it didn't, Joe did not return my calls. Apparently, he was notified by Angie's List of his bad rating. He called and set up the job. It was very expensive, but needed to be done, so I hired him. The work was very good and professionally done. He is very professional and has a great sense of humor. I think we will be able to work together in the future, as long as he keeps in touch as he said he would.

Joe's team worked steady and efficiently to accomplish the job exactly as we'd asked. Joe was very good to work with in laying out the work to be done and negotiating a reasonable price. We were thrilled when he indicated he could move his team over and do it the same day. And, that's just what he did.

This crew is awesome! Do not hesitate to hire. Crew was very friendly, knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and they worked hard and steady. Work was amazing. They lined and spaced the plants and lighting perfectly and took no short cuts. They were on hands and knees cutting the weed barrier to fit around fence posts. And they cleaned up after each day's work. I love their work and will hire for my next project! By the way, I felt confident hiring due to all the positive reviews. They care about their work!

We hired Joe and his team to outline our flower beds, remove old trees/plants, plant new evergreen trees, and add mulch. We met him on a Thursday evening and his team started the next day on Friday. They had the job finished on Monday! Not only do you get amazingly fast service but Joe is truly a joy to work with and has reasonable prices. Thanks for being so great Joe!

Shortly into his first visit, Jose requested $270 check up front for supplies. His worker took out several existing sprinkler heads and put in new ones. The pressure was still not adequate to cover all brown spots in lawn. I did not receive a receipt or list of purchased supplies. A few days later Jose requested another check for $500 for more supples. The same worker returned and put in a full day's work in removing old filtering system and putting in a new one. He worked fast and was very courteous. I was told that Jose would be by that day with receipt for supplies and cost of labor. I emailed him twice in the next few weeks. Jose responded per email and agreed to come by with a complete receipt but never did so. I had complained about the low water pressure and was told that I should rework the piping system because too many sprinkler heads were on the same section of pipe. I believe Jose is dishonest and deceitful businessman. Please get everything in writing ahead of time but I wouldn't recommend hiring him.

Joe's crew worked quickly, made extra effort to be sure play area was level, and cleaned up very well.

They do great work, and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs trees removed or downsized!

Very well, his team works very hard, is thorough, and adapts and plans "evolve" during the project. Very reasonable price, courteous, and knowledgeable. He ensures everything turns out to customer satisfaction.

joe got right back to me on the irrigation and tree trim. the work was fine but some challenge in the communication as to price.. gave joe a check for the amount given before work then found out another $35 was needed due to that was his cash no tax price.. had him out to talk with with my wife about some irrigation work.." i trust my wife more than him" joe shows up with attitude, wants $100 to do first project. joe told a story about weeds need to come up and trees need to be trimmed that he trimmed less than a yr ago.. we got all work done for $55.00 " all valley services llc, 509-654-5444" makes me wonder if i would have been here ,would he talked the same?? very rude to mrs.. not wecolme back to nighborhood..

It went very well; the climber was very experienced. Lots of branches were on the ground, then cut up and hauled away. And the yard was well cleaned up afterward. This is the second time we've used Joe's services.

Overall very satisfied with the service Joe and his crew did. My only complaints are completing what was bid without reminding him to return to finish, and reminding him to clean up a few messes his crew didn't follow through on. I would hire again, but ensure the better follow through. His crew is super fast, very good at what they do, especially removing a huge tree that hung over our neighbors roof, and were very careful to drop the limbs without damaging their home or existing landscaping.

The association of value, veracity, experience and superior customer reviews combine to make Joe?s Yard Service one of the best in Yakima. Previous customer reviews influenced my decision to hire Joe and his staff for the tasks described below. Task 1 ? Large tree trimming and overgrowth removal Joe?s crew removed or cut back some very large limbs and overgrowth from two large trees (approximately 60-75 feet high), a difficult, dangerous task that required climbing each large tree. He also trimmed 10-20 feet from some overgrown arborvitae along a 100+ foot section along my back fence that had invaded power and telephone lines. His staff: experienced, quick and efficient. His crew of 5 had to identify changing dangerous conditions due to the height, size of the limbs removed and the presence electrical supply and telephone wires. One climbed each tree, another controlled the large limb removal as they were cut, hoisted and lowered to the ground for removal by his ground crew. His ground crew hand carried all the small branches out of the backyard, cleaned the surface below and shaped or blended the existing ornamental bushes. They cut and neatly stacked the large limbs for firewood. Bid Estimate - $2800.00 including tax and 3 days to complete, equitable, or less, when compared to other bids. Customer Satisfaction ? A+. They completed the job in 2.5 days with instructions to his staff to complete the job to the customer?s satisfaction. Task 2 ? Landscape mature plantings of rhododendrons Joe brought in one of his staff experienced in construction of retaining walls and landscaping. He suggested large block to assist drainage and prevent erosion which was more expensive but less labor intensive. Each block and the crushed gravel had to be hand carried from the front to the back of my home. His staff removed the old bender board and laid out the design for the existing space. They laid the base course of block on crushed gravel; blocks were cut to fit and the base leveled . They added successive courses and back filled each with crushed gravel careful to preserve the existing underground sprinkler system. Bid Estimate - $2800.00 including tax and 1.5 days to complete. Actual Cost - $3265 ? The job required that I purchase an additional $465.00 in material, a necessary cost due to material loss when blocks were cut , additional gravel, placement of additional courses of block and steps that added to the overall symmetry of the space. Customer Satisfaction ? A+. They completed the task in a week because they had to obtain additional material and meet previous commitments. They provided the procurement and placement of additional material without additional charges for labor.
