Response time was excellent with a survey/quote the same day as my call, and service scheduled for the day after I responded to the quote. Service was excellent with no sign of their visit other than the removed debris and trimmed trees, they even blew/swept out my driveway despite it not being near the trees they worked on. Professionalism leaves something to be desired - not once was the phone answered with the business name, so that I had to confirm that I had reached the correct number. They had to call and ask for my email address to send me an invoice, and that invoice had zero information on how to pay it listed. The phone number on the invoice was apparently not the person to call for payment, so I had to call another number. Payment by credit card took longer than it should with several pauses due to computer issues and questions to me. All members of the company I dealt with were polite and pleasant, and I would do business with them again. They may consider hiring a manager to handle their phone calls and payment system, however.

Our experience with them was good. We would be calling them for some more work.

Arrived on time, did exactly what we wanted and cleaned up after themselves. Great job!

The crew showed up early one morning with out warning (no call to schedule, etc.) and started the chain saws. Trees were effeciently cut and most of the debris was cleared. (Note had asked for chips to be left--but did not.) The ground was too wet to finish grinding the backyard stumps -- said would do later. I was emailed two bills -- one for stump grinding and another for tree cutting. Total for both exceeded $5,000. (for 6 hours of work). Had extra charges for Chris (75./hr) for his supervison of the the crew --a surprise cost. The stump grinding was an additional cost as well ( said was not included in the hourly bid rate)... Overall, disappointed in the misunderstanding of the bid..-- but paid them. A few weeks later, the stump grinder returned to finish the two stumps in the back. I called to insure that there would be no further cost-- and the owner assured me I had paid for everything. Two days later I received another email invoice -- with another bill for the grinding ($500) -- ... Really felt taken advantage of -- and mis-led. I have written these guys and talked with them -- and they have made promises to make things right.... ( will come out and take away the wood / smooth out hills / holes, give me the permit we paid for)...But so far ( 4 months) of only empty promises. I've paid them in full -- for much more than I believe the work was originally bid for. I still have more tree removal work that needs to be done --- the rest of the items on "the list" --hope I can find a company in the Redmond area that still has some integrity and respect for their customers.

Chris was professional and prompt for both the estimate and the work appointment. He checked with us frequently as the work proceeded. We were satisfied with all aspects of the work done for us!

Chris gave us an estimate on the weekend. It's clear that he really knows his stuff and really loves trees. He scheduled the work for the following week, and was able to come out sooner because of a cancellation. Good communication throughout. The team showed up on time, did a BEAUTIFUL job, cleaned everything up, and stayed within their budget. There might be cheaper places out there, but you need to check their Arborist certification.

The arborist (Chris) who came out for a free consultation is obviously very knowledgeable. He explained the options and what the costs would be. The price was a little higher than another company's bid, but I felt I would get a better job done. I was concerned about the long term outlook for the trees and he addressed those concerns very honestly. Chris also said that he will advise us on ways to protect the cedar next year when we have water-main and driveway work done, and will do everything he can to save the tree, but if the tree has to be removed, the cost of this year's work on that tree will be deducted from the cost of cutting it down. I thought that was a pretty fair offer. The crew arrived right on schedule. Chris said he would supervise the work personally, and he did. He also did the pruning on the ornamental vine maple himself. All the work was done quickly and efficiently in less than two hours. The tree trimming crew used a spotter on the ground to direct the worker cutting the branches so that the correct branches were cut. They chipped the branches as they came off, and did a great job of cleaning up. In addition they trimmed some other tree branches that were hanging over our lawn at no additional cost. I am very happy with the results. I will definitely recommend them to our new neighbors when they move in!

What I disliked was that nobody told me ahead of time that we would have to dispose of the parts left after the ground up the stump. They did sweep it all up, but they didn't take it away. I think that they should have let me know up front that they weren't going to take it away. As for punctuality and everything else, they were right on time and the bid they gave me was right on. They did do good working getting all of the roots out.

Charlie, Scott and their crew did a great job. Charlie actually answered the phone the several times that I called them. When I finally decided on hiring them, they were at my job site within a few hours. Scott and the crew were fast, efficient, and did top-notch work. They charged me what they quoted, which was significantly less than the other bids I received. I would not hesitate to use A to Z Stump and Tree for future work.

We contacted A to Z based on another member's report. Scott came out to give us an estimate and discuss our needs. He was professional, honest, easy to work with, and their cost was very reasonable. Even when we asked to have certain trees cut he suggested against that when it wasn't necessary. We were impressed so we scheduled him to perform the work. The one thing I truly appreciated was their respect for my time. Scott called to let me know when he was running a little late. They worked very hard and efficiently and left the site clean. I even asked them to grind a stump that I overlooked during Scott's first visit and they happily did the job.

WE HAVE WORKED WITH A TO Z SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN THE JOBS THEY HAVE DONE FOR US, AND THIS TIME WAS NO EXCEPTION.
