About us

Saddlerock Pet Resort is a dog and cat boarding and grooming facility that strives to be pet friendly. We use the Pet Care Services Association Pet's Bill of Rights as a guideline to measure our service to you and your pets. We are a family owned and run business. Our kennels are sized to fit your pet's needs and special talents- some kennels are capped to prevent climbing out. We have floor heat and air conditioning to keep them comfortable. Our outside play-yards are spacious, and many dogs look forward to making friends with dogs in the other yard. Pet owners are welcome here also. The neighborhood is ideal for dog walking, and the training yard is available if you want to play in a well-fenced area.

Saddlerock Pet Resort is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I called to schedule a drop off for my dogs the other day and I realized that one of them was due for their Bordetella Vaccine which is required to board there. I told her that the only appointment available was Thursday at 5pm and I asked her if it was possible for a late drop off. She said that it would in fact be possible for a late drop off and that she would wait for me. I then told her that I would be there no latter than 6pm and thanked her for her flexibility. This was all very clear. Fast forward to today. When I show up at Saddlerock Pet Resort at 5:39pm there is a note on the door that says “I waited for as long as I could we open at 8am”. That does not help me because I am scheduled to leave tonight and I have no one to take care of my dogs. What kind of business makes promises to their customer that their ENTIRE vacation revolves around and fails to follow through with them? I called Club Pet to see if I could board there and they were full for the weekend and from the first conversation she had mentioned the the Saddlerock Pet Resort was almost empty. That alone just goes to show you that they are a inferior dog kennel. The end result is that I had to cancel my vacation. I have a ****** off significant other and now I have the whole weekend to blast Saddlerock Pet Resort on every online review platform known to mankind. Bottom line is that Saddlerock Pet Resort is too unreliable to plan your precious vacation around and they will let you down. Trust the online reviews, they will not let you down. Learn from my mistake.

Carla is excellent! She does wonderful work with Bailey. Has now for 3 years. She is professional, does exactly what I ask her to do, and always gives him the right amount of attention. Would suggest anyone take any of their animals to her!

Was able to get an appointment the day after I called. I didn't get to meet the groomer as my husband took the little girl while I was at work, but the groomer called to make sure she knew what my concerns and wishes were. She took a dog that was somewhat of a mess, and made her soooo cute! This reviewer is very happy and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Our two labs really enjoyed spending time there. The owner, Ron, does an exceptional job and and has been very accommodating on emergency boarding when we have had a family crisis. We highly recommend Saddlerock for the service, facilities, and value.
