Found Bob Truesdel at a home improvement show in 11/2007. He called the next day. Bob is a very personable and likable guy. Someone we thought of as worthy of our trust. We purchased the solarium and put down the required $1,200 or 50%. We agreed to installation in 3/2008. He said it would be waiting in his warehouse ready for our call. In March, we called and called and called. No response. We called the HQ in NV and then he returned our call. This pattern continued through 6/2008. We pick up the parts ourselves from the shipper in 5/2008. The installer came to our home in 6/2008. He announced the charge for his service would be $1K. At this point, we said fine, whatever. Turned out I pick axed the two 10x20 inch holes for the overhang concrete supports. I used my pick ax, shovel, and Quickcrete cement. The installer used my ladder, wrenches, and my labor. He traveled from San Diego with a level and a power saw. I suggested he adjust the price of installation due to my labor and tools. He did not. The Sunview Solarium product fabricated in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada is excellent. The installation quality was average. We would purchase the product again but only if Bob and the installer were excluded. This was such a bad experience on so many, many levels. Well, shame on them this time. We learned a lesson. Suggest if Mr. Truesdel come to your home, don't let him in.
