Daniel came out the day we called to give us a quote and began almost immediately after we gave the go ahead.  While his quote was a bit higher than the other quote we got, he was much more thorough and accurate in his quote.  He kept apologizing for the delay in starting the drying process which was only 1 day after he began the work.  I didn't consider that much of a delay considering he began work the day after we told him we wanted him to do the job.  Another company didn't even call us back to schedule a quote for 5 days.  He handled everything with our insurance adjuster which was a huge relief!  The drying took quite a bit longer than expected, but to no fault of Daniel.  He checked it regularly and did everything he could to expedite the process.  Daniel and Victoria were nothing but respectful of us and our home.  They always protected our other flooring and left things neat and clean.  While they often didn't make it to our house at the original time they were scheduled to be there, they were always in contact with us to let us know what was going on.  Communication is extremely important and they did a great job in keeping us informed.  Thank you Daniel and Victoria for making a horrible situation less stressful!

Asher Mitigation was recommended by our insurance agent when I called to report water damage from a leaking water line in the our kitchen. I called Daniel, the owner of Asher Mitigation, and he was at our house the next day doing a thorough investigation to determine the extent of our water damage. He came back the next day and took out our kitchen cabinets, removed all of the water damaged wood flooring, and set up his heavy duty drying equipment to begin the dry out process. He carefully stored our cabinets out of the way and ready for the restoration contractor to reinstall later.

Daniel was extremely thorough with his communication during the "dry out" process. He explained how the machines worked and was right on the money when he told me how long they would need to be in our house (keeping it a toasty 90 degrees!) to effectively dry out the subfloor and our crawl space under the house. He made sure to show me all the readings on his high tech moisture meter each day, so I was comfortable that everything was dried out appropriately. He also pointed out some things for me to point out to the restoration contractor, to make sure they were fixed.

I was also thankful that he took on the responsibility of staying in constant communication with our insurance adjuster, making that something I didn't have to worry about.

Daniel was done with his work in one week and our house was ready for the restoration contractor. The contractors even took the time later to let me know how nicely the cabinets were removed with zero damage and how well everything was organized to make the reinstallation smoother, which apparently is not the norm with some other water mitigation companies. 

Asher Mitigation is a relatively new company, but Daniel is very well trained, licensed and certified, and has plenty of experience in this field, as well as experience in the restoration contractor field. He's clearly been around this business for a long time for such a young guy and I felt like I was dealing with a 30 year veteran of the industry.
