Dick Hannah owns all kinds of different dealerships and so we were actually buying the car at Dick Hannah Subaru. They are right next to each other but they are all under the Dick Hannah umbrella. We bought the car from Dick Hannah Subaru but the car itself came from the Dick Hannah Volkswagen lot. They could have been consistent. They could have let us at least stick to one or possibly two sales people instead of, whoever happens to be walking by that day or that moment. We just saw way too many people involved and it was exasperating. They could know their product better. They gave us two key fobs for the car instead of one. We didn't realize it because we are not familiar with them cars that operate with just a key fob. There is no key hole in the car and so you have to use the button to open the car. They gave us one key fob and two keys. We have owned other cars that have key fobs and keys. We were fine with that because you can use the key to open the car. It wasn't until my husband and I realized that one of us was going to use that car instead of our other car but one of us had left with the key fob. So, we couldn't open the car. I was stranded here with no way of going anywhere because I couldn't get in to the car even though I had car keys. Maybe explaining better to the customer that if you get a car that has a key fob and no key holes, you can't get in to your own car. We didn't learn until about three hours ago when I called to know how much it would cost to get another one of those. The parts department told me that the cars come with both of them. Apparently, somewhere along the line, somebody must have lost the other one. Again, being unaware that we would actually need two. It seemed weird. I feel that either they didn't know what they were doing, or they knew exactly what they were doing.

It's a beautiful car and it runs beautiful. I had to go back a couple of times and they were really polite. I think the price is fair. If you put the car in reverse there is a camera so I can see behind me and I think that is really cool.

Shut the front door..they internet service provider spoke so fast I couldn't follow what he was saying..If I understood what he was saying I never would have traded in my outback..I would have taken both my outback and my daughter's impreza to Royal Moore in Hillsboro to get myself a new 2015 legacy and gotten a loan from PenFed for my daughter's car. I feel like reporting them to consumer complaints/better business bureau and whatever else I can do to smear their reputation.

"To Whom It May Concern, I am writing you today regarding the complaint filed with your office on October 8, 2014 by [member name removed]. It is our sincere desire to resolve this customer's complaint and assist her with her concerns. Ms. [member name removed] has written several similar complaints against us, but refuses our attempts to arrive at a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, our calls and other attempts to resolve this have gone unanswered. We believe face to face dialogue with Ms. [member name removed] would help clarify her concerns and provide us with an explanation to the inconsistencies in her reports. It should be noted that Ms. [member name removed] was fully aware and freely agreed to each detail of her transaction, and has completed an additional subsequent automobile transaction at the same location. It is our position that she may be simply experiencing buyer's remorse. Regarding the transaction related to her complaint, Ms. [member name removed] purchased a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy equipped with factory brand new tires. Her statements regarding "4 defective tires" and "two tires blew" at one time clearly indicate that there was a road hazard, improper maintenance, or embellishment of the facts. If there was an actual manufacturer or product defect, the covered components would be repaired or replaced under the terms of her factory Subaru warranty without argument. These complaints appear to be used as an attempt to support her campaign to smear our reputation (as she clearly indicated in her letter to you). They are also simply not factual or mischaracterized. The facts that we know are as follows: Ms. [member name removed] paid exactly $21,690 for her 2015 Subaru Legacy, this is an extremely competitive price and is precisely what her certificate from Pentagon Federal Credit Union suggested she should pay. Her payment at the time of the transaction was $412.69. In addition, she received an excellent finance rate of 3.24% APR. Although we continue to offer to assist in what is clearly a bad situation for Ms. [member name removed] as we have repeatedly attempted to contact her in an effort to arrive at an amicable resolution without response, we cannot accept any responsibility for a customer who agreed to terms, signed a legally binding contract, and then decided she was unhappy after the contract was executed. If, upon receipt of this response, Ms. [member name removed] would like to contact us to further discuss some possible resolutions, we would be happy to talk. I never particularly enjoy the process of purchasing a new car, but overall, dealing with most of the people at this particular Subaru Dealer, was a good experience. The sales person, Ian Pearce, was very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend that you ask for Ian, if you go to Dick Hannah Subaru. I also found the manager, Kamall Chaer, to be a nice and reasonable person to work with. Something I have rarely found at auto dealers.
In addition to Ian's very nice manner and easy to work with personality, Ian Pearce is also fluent in Japanese. I don't speak Japanese, but I found that to be an interesting and marketable quality that should attract Japanese speaking customers, as well as, English speaking customers.
I did shop around and found that Dick Hannah offered the lowest prices for the purchase of my particular 2014 Forester. The offer for my trade was way too low. So I sold my old car on my own.
So, I can highly recommend that you meet with Ian, at Dick Hannah Subaru, to purchase a new Subaru. However, I don't recommend trying to trade your used vehicle at any car dealership.

I went to the dealer to look at Subarus with no real intention of buying, just going because my husband asked me to. Jeramiah Ostrander showed us a few models and took us a couple of test drives. He was very informative, really knew the product. I left there knowing that I wanted to buy a Subaru Forester. I returned a week later and made the purchase. It was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. The price of the car was within $200 of my desired price and the cost of the extended warranty and floor mats was totally fair. The interest rate was better than my favorite credit union. I also got (2) ski passes for free. All around awesome experience.

Went great! We went in with a laundry list of things we were looking for in a used car and a price range we were looking in. Dick Hannah had a TON of options for us so they helped us narrow it down and then let us test drive them all. There are many Dick Hannah lots near Dick Hannah Subaru and we were able to go from lot to lot with the same sales representative which was great - we could start and finish all with the same guy that we got to know. And the price was great for what we got. We did comparison shopping on the websites of other dealerships and on Craigslist and Dick Hannah Subaru was more than competitive. There wasn't any of the normal car-buying-haggling where the representative runs back and forth to the manager either, it was great. The process of buying a car is never quick with all the paperwork that is required, but they did it as quickly as they could.
