I got three bids and decided to go with Cascade for three reasons. Price was the best, Angies List reviews and the salesman Kurt who sold me on the quality I would be getting with his company. Before he left I had a portfolio of information and detailed bid of my project. The crew who showed up to do the job, Nate and his crew, were not only hardworking but professional in their appearance and communication of project. We were very impressed with the young men Cascade employs, one of the best we have worked with. Being in sales my husband has very high expectations from contractors we hire and we would hire Cascade for any future projects without hesitation.

It started with the estimate. Their estimator ( Darren) was on-time and took very detailed measurements of the scope of work from all angles. When their bid arrived it was extremely well detailed with all footages clearly itemized.
They were by no means the lowest bidder. In fact, they were the highest by nearly $ 900.00 but their thoroughness, positive Angie's list ratings and availability made all the difference. They were the only company whose work schedule matched our availability.
The scope of work took two complete days and we couldn't be happier with the performance. The team was courteous, respectful, on time and cleaned up afterwards. No problems at all. We feel we got what we paid for and more.

Everyone that came here was very professional and thorough in all they did. When I called and made an appointment they were came right out to give me an estimate. If I had any questions they were answered promptly. The estimate was thorough and I was given diagrams and everything that day. When it came time to do they job. They were there when they said they would be there. They did exactly what they said they would do. When I noticed some things that were not done on the existing fence posts they did it on Thursday when came back to finish the job up. When they ran out of time and had to go to another job and were not finished another crew came to finish by putting the remaining slats in and they made sure I was satisfied with everything including lowering some parts to make sure my dog did not escape. They also took the time to take out the part of the wood post that stuck up out of the middle of the yard, they did it in a 4th of the time it would have taken me to dig it up myself. My thanks goes to Darran ,Nate, Leif and all the other men that helped put this all together. I was treated like a valued customer. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks. There customer service is amazing and it stands out above any other company I could have chosen.

From beginning to completion the project went just as planned. It all started with the phone call to the office to ask for someone to come out and provide and estimate. The estimator came within two weeks, provided a folder with the estimate and all the details. I compared prices with one other fence company and decided to go with Cascade. Once I accepted the bid the work was scheduled and completed within two weeks. Workers came on time, had the proper materials, and did the work professionally. A very positive experience all around.

Cascade Fence and Deck did a great job with my fence! Over the course of two days, the old fence was taken down and hauled away; new posts were dug; and the new fence was installed. It really makes the property look so much better. The crew even trimmed some of the overhanging bushes from a neighbor's yard that were encroaching on my yard (and fence). They took away all the brush that they cut. The whole area was cleaned up after the work was done. Each one of the crew was very polite and put up with my questions. I would hire them again!

Of the 5 vendors I contacted, Cascade was not the cheapest but neither were they the most expensive. When we got our original quote for the fence, Kurt (in Sales) was very courteous over the phone and set us up with a date and time to give us an estimate. Kurt was on time for his appointment and was helpful and polite. He understood that we would be getting several quotes from various vendors and that we would be making our decision within a few weeks of getting all of the quotes. We were provided a very nice packet with our quote and Kurt said he would be in contact within a few weeks to see if we had made a decision.
After receiving all of the quotes, we liked what Cascade Fence and Deck offered and felt that we were getting the best deal for the type of fence we were buying. I contacted Kurt and arranged to make the deal. He seemed genuinely pleased to get our business and guided me through the payment process. Cascade required half down, half upon completion. The payment process online was easy and by the next morning, I received a call from the scheduling office setting up the installation for 5 days later.
Cascade performed the installation on two separate days: Tuesday, they removed the old fence and set the metal poles, and Thursday, they installed the fence and gates. The crew was friendly and efficient and if I hadn't contacted them when they arrived, I might not have known that they were even there. When finished, one of the installers provided me with a sample board to experiment with different stains and paints.
Cascade installed their "Silver Star" style fence with 2 gates. The fence posts are galvanized steel set in concrete, rails were fir, and the pickets were dog eared and unstained. The gates are steel frame with fir pickets. Cascade drilled into the driveway to set the posts for the vehicle gate. The hardware used appears to be of good quality.
Overall, my experience with Cascade Fence and Deck was fantastic. This is my first time buying a fence, so there was a little sticker shock, but like I said, they weren't the most expensive, and I believe that the product they installed is superior to the other vendors we contacted. All around, the service provided was top notch and I will be using them again when we choose a front fence.

When I did not hear anything back by Wednesday, 2/17, I called there office to see what was going on with my estimate. They said they would have estimator, Kurt Johansson, call me. No call back but on Thursday, 2/18, I received an email from him saying that they could not install the custom fence we had discussed. If I wanted to pick one of their standard fences, I should contact him. Bottom line, I don't get a fence I want but if I want to pay a couple of thousand for one of their fences, they would consider taking my money.
If you want anything different, forget this company.

Prior to meeting with Kurt Johansson with Cascade Fence and Deck, I had meet with four other contractors regarding the damaged fence surrounding my back yard and was dissatisfied with each and every one of them for various reasons. I was relieved to meet Kurt who was friendly, personable, and professional. He provided me with a very thorough and accurate assessment of my property along with an estimate. The estimate itself was incredibly reasonable compared to the other companies with which I spoke. Needless to say, I was happy to give my business to Cascade. My project was started and completed on time. All of the folks who assisted in the construction of my fence were efficient, pleasant and trustworthy. When questions arose, everyone was very receptive. I found Kurt especially to be very skilled in customer service as my satisfaction remained his first priority. I am incredibly happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Everyone who was scheduled to show up did so on time. On one occasion they were unable to make the appointment time, and I received a call from the office letting me know. The installation crew consisted of a team of very nice young men who were personable, courteous, and lovely to work with.
I am quite impressed with the appearance of the black chain link fence. I needed it to secure the kennel area of my property, and I wasn't concerned that much about how it looked. It actually looks pretty classy, and I think it will improve the value of my property.

Cascade Fence and Deck was amazing! They came out on Friday morning to remove the deck railing and were done in 1 hour. They were on-time and very professional. Bids for this project fell into two categories: surprisingly cheap and more than desired. Cascade fell into the latter category as we weren't confident about the quality of the job from the former. The driving force for replacing our deck was that a previous owner did the deck as a DIY job without flashing and there was concerning peeling in the siding that abutted the deck. We went with Cascade because the estimator gave us the most confidence in their work among the similarly priced competitors. While that person left the company between our inking the deal and the project, we did not end up feeling like we were then ignored. Cascade were fast to respond to contact whether by phone or e-mail. When the time came to do the project we got a call from the job supervisor that they had made a mistake in the railing they ordered and gave us the choice of sticking with what we ordered or taking the mistake at a discount. It was a minor change so we took the discount. During the installation, the crew closely inspected the area where the deck would be installed and verified our suspicion that there was water damage. The extent was w/in budgeted changes except for one short beam which was replaced for an amount less than the railing change discount. The crew was at the house for four days total and worked late at least two of those days. The final deck is not only well built, but done in a way that is more attractive than the previous deck as there's a little bit of an accent with how they laid the boards. We're ecstatic with the result and would happily refer others to Cascade.
