They were excellent at communicating and letting us know what needed done and what the cost would be. The work was done timely and professionally. The job was at a rental house built in 1955, so the whole sewer line had to be replaced. Because it was such a big job they offered discounts where they could. They worked through the weekend to get the job done and explained everything to our renter to make sure they were as happy as possible with the unfortunate situation. They even helped the renter take apart and move a raised garden bed that was over the dig location. We are all very happy with the outcome.

I had Rooter Time & Excavation come out and they gave me a same day estimate to replace the sewer main. They provided great customer service, were very knowledgable and walked me through the whole project. I replaced main sewer main and they did a phenomenal job. They cleaned up after themselves and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I will say that the person who I initially spoke with was kind and appeared knowledgeable. That person is the only reason for my half star reviews. They were able to get another technician out the next day; however the person they sent was awful. He showed up and introduced himself as a manager and stated he typically doesn t do house calls. He wore sun glasses the entire time (though it was 8pm at night and he was in a dark lit basement). When we showed him where the plumbing was located, he struggled to grasp which pipe went to which toilet. He didn t even bring his own tools. We had to borrow channel locks from our neighbors! After a couple of hours of not finding the source of the problem, he charges us nearly 300 for doing nothing. He then said he would have to come back the next day and replace the pump which may include cutting into pipes, estimating it could cost us thousands of dollars but that he would give us a discount because he can do that because he s a manager . We stopped him there as we are renters and wanted to discuss with the owners. Even worse, later that night, my husband thankfully had the after though to make sure the man put the caps back on the plumbing. Thank God my husband did, because the manager left the main sewage pipe completely open which could have been a nightmare! A couple days later, another company came out for a second opinion, and was gone within a half hour after they found the source of the problem (a large hairball that accumulated over the years). I am so thankful we had a second opinion.

Biggest problem was communicating. Had to ask for a written bid instead of a quote from the tech on a business card. Were extremely late for set time without notice. Reorganized whole day for the time to be here. Were almost four hours past assigned time. A phone call would have been most appreciated for we could have taken that time to take care of some needed things. The tech worked hard and did a great job.

When I was having issues with my sewer line I was confused with what needed to be done to replace it. Then Rooter Time came and gave me a very reasonable bid on a replacement and they talked me through the entire process, plus they did a wonderful job! It was done very fast and with high quality work. I would highly recommend them!

I got their plumbing company through HomeAdvisor, now I realize that HomeAdvisor is nothing more than a search engine and cant back up or guarantee these businesses. I will NEVER use HomeAdvisor ever again. This company used someone else bidding sheets with someone elses business email address and internet site with totally different CCB numbers when I went on line to the Oregon state CCB board. Home Advisors representative when I called and told them this, they told me to hang up and call my bank immediately. This plumbing company document not only had another contractors name on it with a totally different company on the top of the bid sheet ROOTER TIME &EXCAVATION but the charge on my card was to a totally different company named TOP NOTCH REMODELING LLC. The guy named Mike who used this bid sheet never gave me his last name and gave me a card that didnt have his name or CCB# on it. We contacted the construction company whos email and business site was on this bid sheet and he told us that this Mike worked for them in the past and had to let him go because he wasnt working out and this contractor was so upset he said he was going to contact the Oregon CCB board and file a complaint and possibly sue this other company using his contact info. on one of their bid sheets. I have texts and a voicemail from these crooks offering to do whatever it takes to make me happy- I have already notified TOP NOTCH of my intent to file a complaint also with the CCB board.

Their work was ok. Could have been a little more explanatory about the process. Wasnt expecting a 15 foot wide patch of my yard to be destroyed.

We came across some unforeseen additional work during the job. They jumped right on it and got everything finished without any problems. Quick and reliable. Hopefully I won t need another sewer line EVER again but if I do I ll definitely call them back.

He called back in 5 mins and made it out to the house the same day to assess the work. He gave us a detailed explanation of the problem and process to replace. We were sold on the quick turn around and a 10-year warranty. While the line was being replaced we found the water main was rusted out and leaking. Mike cleared his schedule for the next day and completed that unforeseen job in a single day so we could get the house on the market. While the issues we faced were upsetting, the assistance Royal Flush provided made the process as painless as possible.
