one day. They cleaned up. Explained everything in detail. From
estimate to completion they were great.
The dryer vent pipes were disconnected at every single joint and the pipes were scattered around like trees after a wind storm. The dryer has been venting directly into the crawl space for almost three years! In addition, at least one of the furnace duct pipes, more than a foot in diameter, was completely disconnected and allowing the hot air from the furnace to escape into the crawl space instead of being routed into the house. This explains the ultra high heating bills, (that we had been blaming on the windows), that we have paid during the last two winters.
We may have noticed this earlier, but this house is occupied by my 98 year old mother and my 70 year old sister. They had complained about the house being cold so we had the furnace tuned up and put storm windows up. Since we had the re-piping done with a permit and the work was inspected by the city, (inspector didn't want to get dirty, so didn't go under the house), we had no idea that the ducts were left in that condition.
These people did a despicable thing to a couple of old women because they just wanted to get thier money and get out. This has cost us hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in extra heating costs because of their laziness. They offer a five year warranty but it doesn't cover and quot;consequential damagesand quot;.

"We spoke to the Member this morning. The Member says he had no idea what we were talking about and was completely unaware of any kind of review posted on Angie’s List. We offered to come out and take a look at anything they thought might be less than satisfactory, but Member said that everything was fine and he sold the house and all is good."
"As GM for Repipe Specialists I would like to comment on the above. City Inspections are an important part of the plumbing process and that's why we always abide by them. Not having the notice to hand, I can only state that whatever needed to be done was corrected quickly and passed by that same inspector. Most of the members comments relate to the entirety of the repipe process from start to finish, with only a small amount of text actually detailing workmanship issues, which were all corrected quickly and passed by inspection. Example: We clearly show on every contract (bold print) that if electrcial grounding is deemed an issue by inspection than the homeowner must hire a licensed electrician to do the work. Changing from iron pipe to PEX would be one reason that this would need to be done. We always strive to pass 100% of the times, but this is not always practical. However, we always take full responsibility for the work and the end product as we did here and as was validated by City Inspector. While there were a few correction points that needed to be fixed, I do not see this as an "F". I feel the length of the text appears to portray a job filled with problems where this is not the case and gives the reader the impression that an "F" is warranted, again, I do not consider this to be a fair assessment of our work. Personally, considering no correction was made to the hot & cold lines, or the water heater, or the main line or any workmanship issues relating to their installation I believe a "B" or "B-" would be more appropriate. We are a good experienced company and simply want the opportunity to show what we can do. Thank you, Joe Luca GM"
