The plumber showed up on time and found the leak. It was behind the bathtub controls. He had to come from the other side of the wall to replace the fixture. After replacing the pipeworks--very nice work by the way--he did not test the showerhead, telling my wife that it wouldn't be affect by his work. We left the plumbing untouched for the time he recommended; two days I think, and when we used the shower for the first time, a fresh new shower of water came spraying out of the shower assembly and into the walls. Hunt's sent him back that day to fix it, but we would have rather not had to deal with this oversight.

Called and scheduled an appointment on Monday, got a time slot for wednesday. Then they called me on Tuesday and said that they could not come out becuase their technicians were held up and had to move it to Thursday. Today is thursday, and it is past noon, and they call me again to let me know that they can't come out because their technicians are held up. It may work once to give an excuse, but when you get the same excuse two times in a row you have to wonder. 1. are they incompetent in their scheduling, or 2 do they just not care.

On every phone call when booking an appointment, we explain to our customers our "booking process" and that since we are an emergency service company, emergency calls must take priority. We do everything we possibly can to serve every customer we have scheduled. We are very competent in our scheduling and do care for all of our customers without a doubt. They weren't going to be able to get to my house til later that afternoon. They were actually the first ones to call me and we set up an appointment. The earliest they could get there was 1:00. The other company called and said hey, we can be there within 30 minutes. I had them come and they gave me the quote. I called them back and said this is what they can do and they can do it this morning. She checked with her manager and said, nope, that's right in the ballpark price-wise, that sounds like a good deal and if they can do it right now, we'd do it. They were very good to work with. They called back within 30 minutes of me putting it in the system. They were right on the money, it was just who was here and could do it faster. They didn't do any work. They were the very first ones to call back. They were very courteous. They were very good about when I called back and said hey the person's here, here is the price, they took the time to validate it and made sure I was getting a good deal. To me that was very professional and not just blowing me off saying we can do better, wait til we get there. They were very honest and up-front. They were very punctual. The information I had, good communication. In fact, they followed up with a phone call a little later just to verify I had went forward with the other company and make sure I didn't still need them to come by. Good followup.

I called on Thursday was scheduled for Friday. I was told in morning that another customer's job would require ours to be postponed till Monday. We could be seen on Friday after 5 but for an increased rate. I did not understand the additional costs as I was the one being rescheduled. I voiced my concern in writing the the company. This is my second experience with them rescheduling me. My situation was critical so called another company.

Unfortunately needed this on a holiday weekend. The answering service was not familiar with the area and couldn't even tell me until Monday if they could service my area. (it's Saturday). He didn't seem to know if they could give me a call or not. Not necessarily the company's fault...sounds like they need a better answering service.

I called them to inspect leak in the house. They also cut the dry wall but could not detect the leak. They didnt have moisture meter or any other tools to effectively detect leak source. They tried fixing few things in upper bathroom but didnt find. Next rain, it damaged my hardwood floor. Again, I called and they sent with no charge but again didnt have enough tools to detect source. I used other contact and he came and fixed few things and problem gone. I would not call Hunt's again

Hunts was very professional. I should have called prior to purchasing because our water heater did not comply with coupon requirements. But we were offered an inspection at a reasonable price with credit for the deal I had purchased. I was impressed with the knowledge and efficiency of Hunts. The office was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful, working with me to find options for the deal. They returned calls promptly, were friendly and understood the business. The engineer that came to the house was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to answer many questions, understood radiant heating systems, was knowledgeable about the current heating system and recommended when and what to replace the unit with. I received a bid via email before he left, which I find efficient. He gave advice on how to remodel the current bathroom structure which was oddly laid out. I highly recommend Hunts Plumbing and will definitely use them again.

Toilet flap was fine, but air gap was worse than before the repair... Water sprayed out onto the counter which wasn't even a symptom of the problem initially, it was leak under the sink which was the initial problem. Clearly parts weren't replaced as charged for or it wasn't done properly.

He told us that 2 of our toilets were running. The bid he provided was more expensive than replacing the toilets. We bought a new toilet and installed it ourselves. The other toilet is barely running so we left that alone.

Serviceman came on time to take a 1 min look at the drain. We had waited for around 5 days for this appointment. The price was way too high for a 10 min job. We had exact same problem last year and another plumbing company cost less than 100 and was more patient in taking care of the problem and better at cleaning up after, now this Hunt plumbing is almost 300 in total. We had to pay for the dispatch fee even though we did the job. Not happy with the price, service is OK.
