I went to Nelson for a new hair cut and style. And I have to say, that's the best hair cut I've had in years! Nelson was awesome! I left the salon looking quite fabulous! Everyone is very professional, and warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend Mosaic Salon.

It was a very nice place and the people were very talented in cutting, dying and shaping. During the Summer I don't bother much with my hair. I just brush it back. I go to them when I want something special done. I thought they were a little higher but I thought it was appropriate. I don't think their prices were out of line for what they offer. I go to them when I want really good quality. Anybody can give me a trim, wash and style but when I want something big done I go to them.

My daughter had two trials earlier. My daughter was not comfortable with the first trial, so they redid the whole thing again without  any extra charge. They did the hair and makeup for the bride and the bride's maid. Everything they did was really good. They did a wonderful job on everybody. They worked with us really well. They wanted to make sure that we were happy with the service provided.

I just love going to Mosaic. My hairstylist, Lindsey, is always on time, spends quality time with me, and does an excellent job. The parking is free, and often they offer discounts that are truly amazing. For instance, pay $50 for a certificate to get hair done and get $50 free.

After going to the same hairdresser for over 10 yrs, I was extremely apprehensive and nervous about switching to a different stylist. But my last cut/color from her was so bad - I had no choice but to ask around for recommendations. Mosaic Salon and more specifically, Nelson, came up twice so I called to make an appt. The receptionist was very knowledgable and helpful but I almost passed out when she quoted the cost of the cut at $70 and the color (to start) was around $140 - with each additional color bowl costing an extra $10 (I have long hair that goes past the middle of my back). It's one thing to spend $100 and get bad hair... but over $200 would send me through the roof! I called 2 days later to cancel and asked to speak to the manager, Becky, and boy am I glad I did! She instantly set my mind at ease regarding the stylist I was scheduled with (who I thought may have been new since she could get me in so quickly and had no reviews under her name on their website). After a lengthy discussion, I decided to keep the appt afterall and again, am so glad I did! Samantha was amazing and Nelson even came over to add to my consultation. They explained all of their natural, plant-based products to me as well as their philosphy that I shouldn't need to come in every 4 weeks for a touch-up like I was doing before. The color should be lasting much longer if it's well blended - which actually saves me money in the long run! I felt pampered the entire time I was there and knew instantly after meeting Samantha that she was going to do a great job. She didn't talk my ear off the whole time either and allowed me time to relax with a magazine (but ask questions and interact as much as I wanted/ needed). The color was PERFECT and, trust me, she had a bleached out mess with 'banding' everywhere to contend with! After consulting with her further, I also chose to do a deep conditioning treatment that truly added to the texture and beauty of my hair. I then went to Nelson for what I considered to be a very expensive haircut and, again, was extremely impressed with his knowledge and skills. He explained that my cut should also be lasting a good 4+ months... saving me money in the end (again)!
Listen... I walked out of there spending a little over $250 (which includes 2 tips) and have NEVER seen my hair look or feel this AMAZING! It's hard for me to spend money on myself (typical woman and mom mentality) but I actually felt like it was the best money I've ever spent! Not a bad price to pay to look/ feel like a million bucks! My husband and kids were equally as impressed. So much so... that a few days later I actually bought all of the products they used on my hair (and the entire Invati line for my husband) and scheduled my next 2 appts with both of them! For once in my life... I'm actually looking forward to spending some money on myself - which I'm ok doing as long as I feel like it's worth the price... and Mosaic Salon and Spa most certainly is!!
