.I had gotten at least 6 different bids before settling on Kenny Tree. From all the bids I had gotten I felt they were the most reasonable ( and I saw bids atleast twice the price of what they offered). What really made the difference was the interaction with John Lewis. I had a great experience talking with John about the work I needed done. He was very patient and was able to address all my questions with the highest professionalism. We mostly conversed over email since I had an extremely busy work schedule and could not always answer calls during the day. John was great through the whole process. When I finally decided to sign the contract, John came out to my house one more time to make sure he understood all the work I wanted done. He was able to schedule me in within a week! They came with at least 6 guys, bright and early in the morning. It was amazing to watch them work. Cutting trees is a tough job, I now have a new appreciation for the work they do. Overall, I had 1 LARGE cypress (it was a beast), 2 medium birches, 3 pyramidalis, and 2 dead maple branches removed. I also had 2 large douglas firs windsailed, 1 thundercloud plum pruned, and 6 pyramidalis topped. Had all the stumps grinded of the trees we removed. They did a great job of cleanup. Put the fence they removed during the job back in their place and removed all the debris. Will use them again in the future!

I got six bids. Kenny's bid was in the middle and I had gotten a good feeling about him after visiting with him the first time. When I called to tell him his crew had the job, he arranged to be there that same day. Two climbers each took a tree and about a half dozen young men carried limbs to the chipper. The cedar was right over my six-foot fence and a tool shed so each branch was roped and eased down to the pick-up men. The fir was in very close proximity to several cedars. I had pointed out a baby butterfly bush that was protected by a bucket, but forgot to mention the baby pampas grass that was in the path of the limb carriers. One young man put a nice big trash barrel over it so no one could trample it! The young men were all delightful, even gave me some gardening tips! The cleanup was spot on. The firewood rounds were left for me to give to other folks. Job well done. I would hire Kenny and his crew again in a heart beat!

Seemed a little more difficult than it should have been from the time I contacted them through Angie's List until we got scheduled but it was ok. John came out to give the bid and he spent a lot of time with me going over everything and why he was recommending what he did. We finally got it scheduled for 8AM today. I assumed that meant that they would show up at 8AM but the first guy arrived at 7AM and sat outside waiting for the others. By 7:45, there were trucks and a chipper and more huge saws than I've ever seen in one place!! A ton of guys!! They were all very nice and polite. By 7:54, two men were hanging in the trees waiting for 8AM. Since I figured that the whole neighborhood was awake by then, I told them to start! It was quite amazing to watch them all. I've had tree service before but I've never seen one quite so organized as these guys. They had a system! Everyone had their job and everyone was moving pretty much the entire time they were here (about 4 hours). They did exactly what they were supposed to do and they cleaned up the yard, deck and driveway and left them all looking better than they looked when they arrived!! I'm glad I followed John's recommendations. It is so nice to have some natural light from that side and there will be no more sleepless nights during those big windstorms!

Company sent out an arborist to assess the situation and give a bid. Very responsive to our request: came out for a bid, scheduled the job and removed the tree, all within a week. We were happy with the job and would hire Kenny Tree again.

Team was on time once we were able to get job scheduled -- Micah lost my paperwork so job was delayed until I contacted him about 4-7 days later. Appearance of final project was not up to par. Technicians dropped heavy limbs on my deck several times. After it happened the first time, I expected they were aware they did it. However the tech did it twice more which resulted in breaking the trim around my deck posts. Called it to Micah's attention at the end of the job because my deck was very expensive (Azek composite). He was apologetic. It was important for me to have this on the record in case I discovered additional damage. Have called Kenny 3 times to request repair of the deck post trim. I tried to repair it myself but was not strong enough to do so. After the first call, it took about a week for him to respond and he said he would be out on Sunday or Monday to take care of it. Never showed. Called 2 more times and he never returned my calls. I plan to pursue insurance claim. It's a shame it has come to this because it would probably have entailed about 30 minutes of his time to correct. Will never use his service again.

We were in a crisis situation with a failed sewer line and no plumbing to the house. The sewer needed to be replaced and the clog was right smack under a cherry tree that was perhaps 30 years old. We needed to remove the tree ASAP. The sewer folks quoted us a wildly inflated price to do the job. I called Kenny Tree on the evening of Easter Sunday and asked for a call the following day, explained our problem and requested service as quick as they could manage it. I got a call early the next morning and John, the arborist, came out before noon. The tree was removed by one team, the stump was ground down by their contractor, and work on the sewer line was completed without delay. We were so satisfied, that we asked John from Kenny Tree to evaluate other trees on another property. He came out again, made some helpful suggestions for remedies, work was done cheerfully, and on time, at a reasonable price, with the trees that needed shaping done very skillfully so that they look good, not butchered.

John and his crew did a wonderful job! They were "cleat-less" as to not harm the tress, which I thought was great. Whole job took approximately 4 hours. Very reasonably priced, we will definitely use them again.

Returned call within 2 hours of email and gave an estimate the same day. Had large crew, hard working, very professional; clearly knew what they were doing. Had appropriate and necessary equipment to complete the job without any delays. Clearly explained reasoning for removals or trimming. Left work site cleaner than when arrived. Hope we don't need further work, but he would be the one we would call.

I called and they showed up the same day for a quote. And were out the following day to do the service. They had a large crew with all the right equipment. They had it wrapped up in about an hour. Did a good job cleaning up too. I was very happy with their work.

Very good, came over same day of initial call for bid and started work two days later. Large job was completed in 1 day. They did despite their best efforts break a window when a rock flew out during stump grinding but are going to replace it with no question.

These guys did an excellent job. They worked quickly and clearly new exactly what they were doing. They dropped the rounds exaclty in the place where I had cleared for them, pushing them off over the deck rail without damaging it at all, and rolling the bottom ones out from underneath the deck. They did a great job of cleaning up as they went along, and left our place looking great afterward. Our young sons enjoyed watching through the window as the tree crew worked and they were a good example for them of hardworking professionals. The stump grinding also was fast and efficient. I have already recommended these guys to 2 friends who were looking to have some tree work done, and I would definitely use them again if I ever need any more tree work done.

Very good. other than a scheduling mishap the service was quick, complete, and without problems. I have been using Ken and his team for 12 years now. I have a hillside property with almost 100 70+ ft trees on it and due to wind damage I need removals each year. Lowest price you will find for good work. The aren't a fancy bunch, but they know their field well.

They did a great job overall. They showed up on time with a large crew of highly skilled workers. They left our yard looking great and even went to our neighbors’ yards to clean up sawdust.

These guys worked hard and were very professional. We had three bids for the job and Kenny Tree was the best bid by a few hundred dollars. With the great reviews on Angie's list already, we felt confident going with Kenny Tree. We are glad we did. We feel as if we got superior service for our money. The crew was friendly and no one was standing around ever. The crew did the job in an afternoon that a another company told us would take two days. We have a lot of trees on our property and so we know we will be calling this company back for more work in the years to come. Micah was a great person to work with and was honest and fair. Ken even came by at the end of the job to make sure we were satisfied. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have tree service.

Kenny Tree did a great job. Did the job the very next day after I said to go ahead. They were great to work with and cleaned up as they worked. I will use them again next time and they were $400 less than my other bid.

Kenny is a hands on leader. Micah and the rest of his experienced team demonstrated punctuality, professionalism and excellent craftsmanship. They moved incredibly quickly and always left the worksite in a clean and orderly manner. Each day the team was excited to share what they accomplished & discovered. They educated, as well as guided us on the process, so we felt in control the entire way. We decided to expand the scope of the project because we felt Kenny and his team were nothing but fair, honest, transparent and hard working. The project resulted in the most incredible transformation imagineable. We will post before, during & after photos when the project is completed. They are the only tree service I would use and recommend... and I've used several good ones in the past. Thank you.

Kenny's crew was very professional, well organized, and friendly. They did an excellent job of cleaning up any debris before they left. We were very pleased with the services performed and would certainly recommend them.

Kenny Tree easily had the best price of 3 estimates, all local companies and all top rated on Angie's List. Straightforward job, and it was executed perfectly. When I came home, the trees were just gone. There was barely a trace that trees were ever there. I picked up up a few stray odds and ends. Came home on later date, and the stump was gone. I got a follow up call asking if I was satisfied. Yes, I am. Got the invoice, paid the bill and that's that. Can't do any better.

They came in with a crew of about five along with the owner. There were a lot of limbs. Kenny, the owner recommended cutting the dead branches versus cutting down the tree. They thinned it out. They cleaned everything up, cut it up, and hauled it away. They were on time and professional. They responded quickly after I called. They completed the work in a day and did good job.

These guys are professionals. They returned my call promptly, met me at the property on time, showed up with a large crew and quickly took down the tree. Everything was done as discussed including cleaning up the area afterwards. Good company to work with.

We absolutely love the work the Kenny Tree crew did! From our first contact with Micah for a bid to the final day when the trees were removed, Kenny Trees was responsive and available to answer my questions as they came up. Micah made several trips to our house at my request to advise on other trees we were considering removing. The Kenny Tree crew was professional, efficient and very careful to not cause damage to existing landscaping and structures. Kenny Trees definately earns our A rating!

The crew did a great job. I watched the entire job, fully expecting that the fence was going to get dinged by falling limbs and other debris. But they did a masterful job, nothing was damaged. The job was done in a little over 3 hours. They hauled away all the limbs and arranged for someone to come later and remove all the chunks of tree to use for firewood, since we had no need for the firewood.

They showed up on time, communicated with me to be sure we were all on two same page. They worked quickly and professionally, were friendly & accommodating and cleaned the yard, leaving it the way they found it minus the trees & debris.

We had about 12-14 alder trees that were hanging over our drive way, shed, and dog run. Also we had 4 more trees in the backyard that needed to be removed. Our project was not a rush, so we did end up rescheduling two or three times. Had I been more firm about needing the trees out they would have set a firm date with me. However they did come out on a sunday because the original friday appointment didn't work out. All of the guys that showed up were very nice and polite. They removed all the trees and completely cleaned up after themselves. Great company and employees!

Upon first impression, I was pleased with Kenny Tree Inc. The bid was fair ($800 for removal of 3 trees) and the individual who provided us the estimate, Carl, was very informative, personable and likable. However, that's where it ended. We were told they'd remove the 3 trees the next time they had another job scheduled in Marysville. About 2 weeks later, we had a scheduled date. However, by 4pm on that date, no one had showed and I received a phone call saying the previous job had run over and they'd be back the next day. The next day, an 'emergency job' didn't allow them to come back. Extremely frustrating but I was accomodating. The following day, a text saying he could be there the following morning around 8:30am, which actually worked great for us! Low and behold, the next morning, around 10:30am, I received yet another text saying that 'he was bumped on the job board and would call soon.' It's now 3 days later and no text, no call, no nothing. Needless to say, I won't be handing over my $800 to Kenny Tree Inc. EVER! In my opinion, this is not acceptable behavior/customer service.
