They were thorough in asking us before hand what we wanted to do with the area after the stumps were ground. This ensured they went to deep enough so we could seed a lawn or plant other things in that area. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up the area before they left.

I would say it went very well from start to finish. From Henry being on time for the estimate, and his crew showing up on time and being efficient at their job. The crew was very courteous and respectful. The work place was all cleaned up and lumber set aside for firewood. The tree stump grinding was good and they went deep to make sure it was gone. I did appreciate them taking away the other tree debris that I created, that was a good finish to a great experience.

Overall, I was thoroughly insulted and will never call this company again.

He was able to come the next day, due to windy conditions, so he couldn't work on a larger tree topping job, and took down a section of the fence, cut the tree down, gound out the small stump, removed all of the branches, our neighbor wanted the tree bucked down for his fireplace, which was no problem. They also trimmed a large chestnut tree in the front yard and trimmed an out of control hedge! Very nice people to work with and very proffessional.

Henry and his team were prompt, professional and were focused on safety. Henry came out on a Thursday to give us a bid, same day I called to inquire. The next day they were out at the house about 8:30am and got right to it. Of course the wind kicked up when they got to the maple and they had to postpone work until the following Monday. they were back out Monday once they were able to confirm that the wind was going to cooperate. Overall everything went well and we would recommend using their service to anyone who needs tree service.

The crew arrived on time. Was quick and efficient. Cleaned up nicely after themselves and no damage to my property. I have other trees on my property I'm considering removing and would definitely use this service again.

I had a large maple tree that was too close to the house (within 10 feet) that I decided I wanted removed. I got bids from 3 tree service companies from Angie's List. All 3 recommended that the hemlock be cut down, and the second trunk cut off a very large (150'+) fir tree that had apparently resulted from a fracture from a years old lightening strike. Henry made a very fair estimate, considering the amount of work and the complexity of the maple. His is a family business and his crew included his sons. They arrived on time, did the work and completely cleaned up. The work included grinding the stump and haul away of the chips and the wood. I am very satisfied with Got Stumps Tree service, would use their services again, and I recommend them.

Henry came out, provided an estimate the same day I called, and then his crew finished the job the next week. Best service we've had - they made such a great effort to protect our existing landscape, take safety precautions and cleaned-up every branch, twig, and leaf that fell to the ground. Definitely would recommend their services.

My neighbor let his Laurel hedge get out of control and it was damaging my yard and threatening my house. He agreed to allow me to cut it down. Nine hours later I was left with an eye sore in his yard. He was attempting to burn pieces of it, so the good neighbor I am decided to get it removed. I called several places and was getting a few quotes. Henry from "Got Stumps" called me and said his son Shelby and another were son out on a job already in the area and could stop by as soon as they were done. They arrived within a couple hours and since I wanted to keep the wood chips they gave me an great price. Angie's list couple helped some too. They arrived and with no messing around got the job done in less then 2 hours. They did a great job of cleaning up, were respectful of my neighbor's property and my own.

Henry, sons and crew gave the best bid with assurance of good clean-up and protecting concrete patio area under the two trees being removed. The work was done in the time estimated with preserving patio area. The clean up was great, you could tell some minor residual saw dust was present but 10 min. of sweeping and I was done.They were professional, friendly and the price was less than two others given. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

His crew showed up on time and consisted of his three sons (this is a family business and they take great pride in their work). There was a large truck and a very large chipper as well as a large stump grinder. I couldn't believe how fast the tree was removed. That part took only just over an hour. They had a little trouble with the stump grinder when the track came off but they were able to put it back on. They used plywood to cover the lawn and protect it as they moved the grinder into position. They also used a plywood barrier to contain the chips around the stump making for easier cleanup. The surrounding shrubs were protected. This crew had the experience and equipment to do an exellent job and I was very pleased. They were pleasant and sincere and easy to work with. I reccomend them without any hesitation for any tree removal project.

Henry stopped by and made the job sound like it was going to be a huge deal - problems getting to where the tree stumps were located and problems turning a truck and trailer around in my driveway - it seemed odd to me that he was so worried. Henry also mentioned if I did not remove a fence panel, he would have to send two guys to remove the panel which would cost more - two guys showed up anyway even though I removed the panel myself. To save myself money, I told Henry I would do some prep work (i.e., removing some decorative stone) to make room for the grinder. Henry failed to mention that they would not remove the dirt created by the grinding and did not mention that the dirt might completely cover my decorative stone work, as well as a decorative pathway. When his son was done, he tried to clean up some stuff because I was upset but I just saw a lot more work for me to do. Also ended up there was absolutely no problem getting the grinder to the stumps and turning the truck and trailer around was a piece of cake. Henry's son was very nice about wanting to help clean up but the other young man did not seem to be happy about helping clean up. I think everything would have been fine if I had known what to expect.

The crew performed exactly as expected in the bid, and cleaned up the yard exceptionally well.

The crew arrived when they were supposed to and were very friendly and professional. They studied the situation before starting and made sure that once they started everything went smoothly and safely. They worked hard and got the job done in a timely manner. Then they cleaned up so that by the time my wife got home there was nothing left except the cord wood that we wanted to keep. Excellent job, guys!

Henry arrived when he said he would for an estimate on removing two trees and yard cleanup. I then solicited estimates from other tree services. I decided to accept their offer based on price, Angie's list recommendation, and first impressions. We then scheduled an appointment for the following week. On the agreed upon day the workers showed up on time and did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the service and will not hesitate to use Got Stumps? Tree Service again.

They were good. They were prompt. I will be using them again soon. I rate them high overall.

I had two very tall unstable fir trees in the front yard and another tall fir in the back yard that needed to be taken down. My neighbors highly recommended Henry and his crew. Henry's crew arrived timely at 8 AM on the scheduled date. By the afternoon all trees were down, the area totally cleaned up. Grinding the stumps was a tricky process as the inground irrigation system was installed near the trees. The stump grinding was completed without incident with the system left intact. Highly recommend this company for tree work.

The tree was cut down carefully and the debris properly handled. The overall job was excellent. Mr. Miller deserves more business based on my one-time experience with him.

Henry (the owner) lives in the neighborhood and was passing by and noticed the tree. I had a previous tree taken out by another service and was pleased with them, but the price was similar and I appreciated his looking out for me though I recognize not everyone would.

Henry stopped to give two of my neighbors a quote to remove serveral stumps in their yard. I asked him to provide a quote for serveral stumps in my yard once he was done with the neighbors. As he finished up quoting I asked if there would be a discount if since he would be doing the work on all of the homes. He gave us a $50.00 break at that time. Using AngiesList I found two other companies that we decided to ask for a quote.. Both companies came in well below Henry's price and we decided that we would go with another company. In talking with Henry I explained to him that the three neighbors had decided to use another company and it was due to price. Henry offered to come out and requote the job since he now understood that we were working together. He never showed up that I know of, but he did offer to beat the price of his competitor. I told him that we had already made our decision and thank him. The price difference for the three homes was over $200.00. When I asked for a discount for all of us he offered $50.00. When I explained to him that he lost due to price he was willing to drop the price an additional $200.00. He also went into sales mode telling me that he grinds the stumps down lower than and of his competitors. As it turned out, both competitors also offered to grind the stump to the same level at the time of the quote. Henry seems like a very nice man and I think we would have been happy with his work. I get worried when I get a quote for work and watch the price drop as much as this job did because he relizes there is compitition.

Very responsive and professional. Left the work sight area clean -- no left over limbs or visible stumps leftover. Left wood from tree trunks to use as firewood.

Did a great job and price was good, however, because of the economy thay gave us a better price than they normally would. We were pleased with their performance and cleaned up well before leaving. we would call them again for bids on future projects.

This is a father son company that we would definitely have do other work for us in the future. We thought the price was very fair. They did a pretty professional job. Initially, they were only supposed to do 4 stumps, but after they got there we asked if they would add another 2 and they were very agreeable and didn't mind the extra work. They did a good job cleaning up the yard too.
