I hire Van's a couple of times a year to perform yard clean up in areas of my yard where I need some extra help. He always shows up promptly to give me an estimate and then returns within a week or two to perform the work. He shows up on time with a crew of 4-5 to perform the work. They are hard workers, very professional and do an excellent job. I highly recommend Van's for yard services.

Mr Van was early to our agreed time and ready to work. He and his helper trimmed 7 trees, trimmed 6 large rhodies, removed a diseased apple tree and cut down 7 juniper bushes. He removed lots of old firewood and other landscape trash which had been unattended for several years. The entire area was left cleaned and beautiful which was above expectations. As a Vietnamese immigrant, his English skills and level of understanding were outstanding. There were no misunderstandings or confusing discussions. His professionalism as a landscaper was above expectations. I highly recommend Mr Van and I would hire him again.

Van has helped us with yard work before and has always done a very professional job. This time was no different. He stopped by to give us an estimate and worked us into his schedule the next week. He and his crew arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally planting shrubs and cleaning up our yard. They removed all their plant cuttings (to their truck) and left our yard looking very nice. We definitely will hire them again when we need more yard help.

Van was *extremely* easy to work with, and was super responsive. I was very pleased with the customer service experience! The end result looked great and the price was a good bargain, however their use of a weed-whacker to cut the weeds meant that a few ferns were killed along with the weeds. Van assured me they'd grow back in a couple months with regular watering, but that hasn't happened. Now one of our plant beds is bare, but I think we'll put in a raised planter-box instead. I was expecting them to hand-pull the weeds (and thus be more targeted)--but Van explained that his price was as good as it was because they use a weed-whacker. If they'd had to weed by hand it would have cost much more. This makes sense to me, it just wasn't what I expected.

It was a very large job and Van's did an excellent job!

The crew worked all day clearing the over growth of vines, weeds and unwanted vegetation. They were thorough and left the yard looking great.

Mr. Van and his crew arrived on time as agreed to and promptly went to work. They performed all the work in one day with the exception of barking the beds. The bark was put down about three weeks later based on a mutually agreed upon date. Again, the crew arrived promptly, as did the truck with the bark that they had scheduled. There were several large beds and the bark work took several hours, but was done in one day. They actually mowed the lawn to enable easier movement of the bark around the house. The clean up was great, including washing down the driveway where the load of bark had been. Our yard looks fantastic! We highly recommend Van's for yard services.

He's from Vietnam. He's got family members who work with him. He does a really good job. I never thought about putting him on Angie's list. They do a good job. He even builds brick walls, retaining walls. Last year he put down manure toward the end of the season and my grass has never looked better. He's very detail-oriented and he takes pride in his work. He's charging me $50 a visit which is really, really good. I've given him a lot of business. When I was working more than full time, I had him take care of everything in my yard because I couldn't keep up with it because I was always working. So, he brought in his team and they did such a great job that when I drove into the driveway and saw him and saw what he had done, I started to cry. I was so grateful. He did a great, great job and he's got good people working with him. You know, I can almost set my clock for the time they come by every other Thursday. They're like clockwork. I'm still using him. He's coming next week. Now that everything is under control. just two people come, Van and a young man who's doing the mowing. I've only seen the young man twice, so he's new to the team. I was so impressed with the mowing pattern that he did on my front and back yards. They just looked so professional. It was like somebody who had just mowed the lawn for a baseball game. It definitely wasn't his first day on the job. He knew what he was doing. It takes them about an hour because I've got a big back yard and smaller front yard. They're very efficient. They've got this down. My next door neighbor started using them because I was. And then this afternoon, when I drove in, I ran into Van. He's now at one of my other neighbor's houses. He's got them. And then another family across the street, he said he's probably going to get that family as well. I've been really fortunate having them. They leave the area spotless. They mow, the blow whatever needs to be picked up -- leaves, petals, branches, whatever comes down, we have a lot of blue spruce and Northwest tall trees.- he blows everything off. He does a good job.

Their work is excellent. They are very meticulous.

It was excellent. They were absolutely wonderful. I plan on using them again in the future. Three people came out and it took four hours. They left the area immaculate. They were one of four people that bid the job and they followed up. They were flexible in terms of the timing and the date that they showed up. They did actually more than what they were bid to do.

Very well. Three men came and worked for 2-1/2 hours.

Van was responsive, gave me a bid and did the work all within one week.  I had lots of other gardeners not return my call or give me an estimate and not follow through.  Van's service are real gardeners and know what they are doing!  I would hire him again and he is now maintaining my yard.  I would hire them all over again!

He does a great job! He's very reasonable and very professional.

Terrible service and very unreliable.
We bought a home and didn't know anything about yard care. We trusted Mr. Van with our backyard . Paid him a large sum of money ($2K) initially and then paid him regularly for biweekly "lawn care" and clean up. After a year:
1- Our lawn is destroyed. I just spend $1000 to fix the lawn. The workers destroyed the lawn by doing careless mowing. I requested multiple time to have moss killer applied (told him I'd pay the extra cost). It never was applied. Lawn is overrun with moss and weeds now.
2- Totally unreliable. He sometimes don't show up for 6 weeks and sometimes comes every week! His worker have no manner.
3- If he is not there, the worker do a crappy job and leave the backyard in worse condition than when they showed up!
 HE IS VERY UNRELIABLE. He doesn't answer his phone when he know you want to complain about something. His workers are very rude. They don't want to listen to anything.
I would avoid his service.

Van was awesome. We were always very pleased with Van.

They always cleaned up after themselves and they left the place better than it was when they got there. They were very clean and very accurate and they didn't take forever. They came in, they got the job done, mowed the front and back and weed wacked the edges, cleaned up and they were gone.
