"Hi, It is unfortunate that you were not happy with the bid. We have overhead costs and have to charge a minimum for our services for the time of my men and use of our commercial dump truck. We feel that the $250-$300 bid for the job to have two men come out and do the clean up was reasonable."
The Urban Jungle team worked some magic on my yard. They were out here in one day and turned it from night to day. I contacted Duy over phone and we scheduled an appointment the next day. He called to say would be 2 hours late because of a delay in one of his projects. When he arrived we went through the yard and he made some good suggestions on improving my landscape, such as pwashing the retaining wall, repairing un even pavers, etc. He then proceeded to show me what trees needed pruning to protect their health and what type of style to prune certain shrubs.
After we agreed on the price, he set a date for 1 week later, the crew arrived and did everything as planned and much more. Overall, I am very happy with the work and would use them again.

They trimmed 1/2 of the hedge, broke an underground wired light and didn't weed the bank or the window boxes. I asked the worker how the light broke and he replied "it wasn't like that?" Jesus. I said no. I went in the house to call Duc and I looked out my window to see the 2 men digging a hole and trying to cram the light in there so it stayed up so it wouldn't look broken..unbelievable. I spoke with Duc and he seemed agitated and said well we 'threw in the pressure washing' so we really shouldn't have to pay - I had a copy of the original estimate and not only was power washing on it, he had circled it, he wasn't throwing anything in, it was part of the original estimate.
Will I receive a check for what they broke? I'm not holding my breath and I have a bunch of weeding to do and have to finish trimming the hedge.
"Hi [member name removed], We are sorry you were not happy with the services. And can come back and make the adjustments. For the record, I did a walk through with you in the morning and you did not point out those areas to be weeded, we only looked at the back yard area. And the hedge you said you only wanted to do the sides, no top. Regardless, we can come back and make the adjustments. As for the pressure washing, I did not say we did not discuss it. It was listed on the bid, but it was not itemized with a price, which I pointed out. That was my mistake and I took responsibility and still provided the service for free. For the light, my workers were trying to fix it. Any damage to the light, we will reimburse."
These fellow did an amazing job of a landscape renovation. After my tenants moved out, my yard was a total mess. It literally was a jungle, all of the trees overgrown, lawn was so overgrown that it was flat, weeds everywhere, ivy, horse tail, morning glory, you name it, it was there. After the clean up, the guys adjusted my hardscape which included re-leveling pavers, and adjusting the retaining wall. Additionally, they refreshed the gravel on my walk way, and new mulch for my flower beds. Overall, the price was competitive and work was excellent. On par with the reviews. Money well spent.
My usual landscaper was busy for the season, so I decided to try these guys out. They have a bunch of positive reviews so I went with them. My yard has been neglected this whole season and Urban Jungle brought it back to shape and into a maintainable condition. My lawn was way overgrown and they cut it down. They did a good job of thinning out trees, cutting dead wood, and pruning them.
They also installed a small section of pavers for my garbage cans.
Overall A+ for communication, estimate, timeliness, work, and professionalism.
Duy and crew did a great job cleaning up my yard. It is my first time using them and I'm glad I took the leap of faith. I sent an email through the website, set up an appointment, and he showed up a few days later for an estimate. When the crew came and did the work they were fast and efficient. I was expecting the job to take days, we have a huge yard and Urban Jungle was able to knock out everything in one day. What I also like is that this crew knows how to prune shrubs and trees vs just shearing everything with hedge trimmers. They also did a great job weeding everything with picks vs using a weed whacker to mow down everything. Really glad I chose this company (cool name), but great value and quality.
Hats off to Urban Jungle, they did a splendid job of transforming my over grown yard into a landscaped master piece. I am truly happy with what they did and the speed at which they accomplished the work. Dewey came out and give me an estimate to do some major yard work on my 5 year neglected yard. He and his crew of 6 men came out a week later and knocked it out in a day. They did a total clean up, mulched bed, put in a new gravel walk way, and power washed the front drive way.
Absolutely happy. Extremely professional. Would hire again.
Another bonus was that my original date for clean-up was this weekend, but heard from Duy that time had opened up earlier in the week for earlier service. The team was punctual and worked efficiently.

I am meticulous about my gardening and do most of it myself, so I know what it takes. This year I wanted someone to come in to an initial clean up so that I could focus on the details. I was in contact with both Duy Le (the owner) and Larry. Larry stopped by to provide an estimate within the same week I contacted them. He was a good listener and took notes about where my perennials were and what I wanted them to do. The price he quoted was in line with other estimates I had obtained and even though this is a busy time of year, they fit me in within a couple of weeks. His crew left my yard and patio area clean. I was very pleased with the quality of work and will definitely hire them again.
A+ work! Duy and his crew did a solid job of getting rid of the unsightly moss on my lawn. They reseeded it and it looks like its growing great. I've used other landscapers who thatch my lawn, but they do a crappy job leaving big patches of moss in the grass. Duy did outstanding work and they got rid of most of the moss. Duy also weeded out wild spring weeds in our beds and reduced the size of our maples.
