We have especially appreciated Kris's ability to explain (in plain English) any trade-offs in design choices, budget impacts, and value/quality/durability. His recommendations have led to great results I would never have envisioned on my own---and a lot of compliments on our now gorgeous home. Kris has always been clear on project progress, next steps, timing, and budget. And his Rolodex of top subcontractors and craftsmen has been invaluable. Over a series of 4 projects, I've come to know Mr. Vandenberge as one of the most gracious and ethical professionals I've had the good fortune to connect with---and I've had two custom homes built in the area. In fact, Urban Elements (www.urbanelementsinc.com) is the only firm I'd trust with a key to my house to complete work while I'm out of town---knowing the only surprise will be the good kind!

What they did was good, but my response is colored by the fact that they didn't fully perform. The workers and owner were very nice. They did a good job taking out the trees and cleaned up pretty well. They left some roots and did not grind out existing stumps as they were supposed to. In addition, they didn't remove a large yucca and didn't prune two fruit trees as contracted for. Did a nice job pruning a fir tree.

Just like new! I've used this company repeatedly and they've always gone above and beyond. They were professional, reasonably priced, finished on-time, and worked harder and faster than any other firm I have ever hired. I am VERY pleased with this company and regularly recommend them to my friends and family. They have had similarly positive results. It's not often you get the full package---quality, integrity, price, and reliability---but these guys bring it all. The owner has a master's in construction management and makes it all make sense (in plain english!). He always tells me the options and trade-offs, and gives me rationale for his recommendations to maximize quality for dollar spent. Because of that, I'll be hiring him as my Owner's Representative when I build my new house this summer.
