We played phone tag and we talked about what they offered and what they charged. They took a while to get back to us in terms of returning phone calls. In the time it took we made a decision to use somebody else. If the other companies we contacted went out of business we would get a quote from them.

Responses to initial queries were prompt and professional; however, they booked a reservation for me even after I explicitly said "this is just a query for information." I didn't find out about this until I called them back to actually hire them - lucky I chose them! The actual move was problem free. The movers were very courteous and professional. They were very careful and methodical with packing my belongings, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The biggest problem was that they took almost four hours to complete the move, which is ridiculously long for the amount of stuff I had (barely enough to fit 1/4 of their ~30' truck - it seems like they don't have any smaller trucks); they took them about 45 minutes just to drive from downtown Bellevue to Redmond (it took me about 10). I probably could have paid less with (much) less peace of mind. Sunshine movers provides a quality service, but next time I will shop around more to see if I can get a faster/cheaper mover for my needs. Note: They only take cash. I was embarrassed to only have $300 on hand, so they accepted a check for the difference.

At the time of our inquiry Sunshine movers was a registered UTC household goods moving company with no license complaints. They have a nice website that provides information about the company and where they publish their Tariff schedules. Emad showed up on time for our on-site meeting. He was friendly and helpful in answering questions about the pack and move process and insurance. His quotation came in a timely manner via email with various Pack/Move options for the client. Emad was responsive in his communication and was obliged to provide a quotation for the client via their project manager without having to meet the client. This shows a level of professionalism and flexibility many household movers are not willing to provide. We have worked with Sunshine Movers in the past, and although our client chose a different option for various reasons, PSG will look favorably on Sunshine movers as a qualified and viable moving option for our clients.

I called several movers in town on a Saturday to try to schedule a next-day move. Sunshine Movers was not only available to answer my call, but it turned out they were also able to schedule me for the next day. On moving day Emad and his mover were friendly and efficient, and were very conscientous in that they made sure that nothing was forgotten (I almost forgot to pack the computer). I felt comfortable with them, and I was glad to find movers that I could rely on. I have called them again since that first move, and have never been disappointed.
