Professional work performed from beginning to end.  I have used this company before so all of my communication on this small job was done via email.   Very easy and courteous company to work with.  Quality of work is very high and an care was taken to protect my property.  I will pay a little more to hire seasoned professionals.

They are extremely personable and professional. Doug Wold, the owner, came to my house multiple times to discuss different aspects of the job. During the most recent project, he was on site regularly checking on things because I was traveling and unable to review the work myself. Each of the painters I have dealt have been very diligent and hardworking. At the end of each day they leave a short write up about what they accomplished that day and what is scheduled for the next day. They go out of their way to over-communicate at every possible moment. Doug was flexible on his bid and willing to work with me to scope the project in a way that fit my budget. The final product is outstanding. People regularly comment on the quality of our interrior paint and the colors.

From start to finish, Queen Anne Painting is a top notch company with very dedicated staff and a very personable owner in Doug Wold.

It was not inexpensive, but the quality of the work and the professionalism of the painting team, was outstanding.
I work from home, and was able to continue with my work pretty much uninterrupted. They did one bathroom at a time, so we always had access to a bathroom in the evening. The painters were quiet, neat, and truly delightful people, and the work was completed on schedule and on time.
The prep work, which is the key to a good, long-lasting paint job, was thorough.
We ran into one snag when the paint store mixed up the wrong color of paint for the final trim in the office. They noticed the problem, we conferred about it, and they went back to the store and obtained the correct color.
I would definitely call Queen Anne again for interior painting!

They did an excellent job! They were very professional and easy to work with. They also had carpentry services to take care of any wood rot they found.

This interior paint job went spectacularly well from start to finish.  The high quality work was performed on schedule and within budget, and the outcome was exactly what we had wanted.  Ray, lead painter from Queen Anne, arrived right on schedule and initially sat down with me to go over project details, answer questions, and discuss logistics before starting.  The job took 3 days with day 1 focused on smoothing, filling, repairing a significant number of cracks, holes, etc that had accumulated over the years in this house that was built in 1908.  Ray was joined by an associate on part of this day (whose name escapes at the moment) and their joint outcome was excellent, as walls appeared uniform, very smooth and ready to paint.  The next day was focused primarily on painting the trim, woodwork and ceilings, with the final day day devoted to the walls, window frames, touch up, etc in the bedroom along with the ceiling and walls in the hallway.  At the end of each day,  Ray gave me with a written project update summarizing the day's progress and the next day's plans, and at the completion of the job, Ray provided me a thorough walk-through.  After each days efforts, the work site was restored in a neat and tidy manner and cleanup at the end of the job was very thorough.  As for the overall outcome, we could not have been more pleased as the room was spectacular....exactly what we were looking for and certainly reflecting the outstanding skills and craftsmanship of Ray and his Queen Anne associate.

Excellent. Doug Wold came out within just a few days of my call to their office (which they returned promptly) and gave us an estimate. It was just a bit higher than another bid we'd received but we went with them anyway for a few reasons. One of the big reasons was that they were able to sand out rough spots on our very old house using a shrouded HEPA vacuum to collect lead-based paint. Most other painters that we talked to would only scrape the paint and we knew we had a lot of rough spots that wouldn't look as good with just scraping. Another reason was that they have carpentry services in-house and we liked the idea of bundling the carpentry repair with the painting since we had siding to repair - it seemed more efficient. The last reason was that we had a good feeling about working Doug - he seemed like a very honest and helpful guy with lots of experience, and that turned out to be true.

The quality of workmanship was excellent - both the carpentry and the painting. I was worried about Doug's recommendation to use just one coat of paint but he said if applied right, and the color is going darker, that's all you need. I have to admit it seems like ample coverage now that its on.

They were also really flexible about changing course mid-way through the job. We actually got about 1/3 of the paint up and decided we couldn't live with the color - but they had bought all the paint for the job. We found another similar color we liked and Doug spent an hour on the phone with us and the paint shop one Sunday afternoon figuring out how to reformulate the paint we had purchased in order to get close to the new color. And turned out great.

All the painters were courteous and cleaned up the site well every day.

Highly recommend working with QAP.

Doug from Queen Anne Painting came out to look at the areas that we wanted painted.  He told us how much paint to buy.  I scheduled the three rooms to be painted and wow!  Two painters were there just one day.  Two coats of paint and it is perfect.  So beautifully and professionally done.  I whole heartedly recommend Queen Anne Painting.  They are truly extraordinary.

Corey first came to evaluate the situation.  He was very personable and professional.  He was flexible with me about adjusting what was done.  After giving me an approximate time (first week in Dec.), I said we weren't in a hurry.  By January, I called them to find they had my number wrong and were calling who knows where.  A date was set, we purchased the paint and we were on our way.  Arlan arrived at the the appointed day and time, came in the door and removed his shoes.  He carefully proteced everything in the rooms, clarified what he was doing, and left notes each night on what he had done that day and what he planned for the next day.  We were quite pleased!

It was a large space. They did a perfect job in executing the painting. I purchased the paint, so it was part of my expense. The lines between the ceiling and the molding are perfect. They were very clean and orderly. They left everything absolutely beautiful. They are very qualified to even do difficult areas to reach in the painting process.

This is the second time I've used them. I liked their sales, their customer service and the reason why I gave them a B is because both times they came out they've had to do an extensive redo. The price was comparable, I got 6 bids.

Doug and his crew performed as close to perfection as one could possibly hope. Quite frankly they exceeded our expectations and way beyond our hopes. Under the most critical lighting the space looks fabulous, the coving is matched perfectly, the lines are incredibly straight, the matching of existing and new molding and picture rail is perfect, the paint job is flawless. The crew was timely, worked hard, respected our privacy, were friendly and considerate and at the end of each day left the work area clean and organized. I honestly cannot think of anything to complain about or to suggest for improvement. We are delighted with the results and would highly and without reservations recommend Queen Anne Painting to anyone for this kind of project, and any other painting related job for that matter.

Called 4 companies from Angie's List, got bids from 3. Queen Anne was a little higher after negotiating with them a little, but by far the most professional, and in retrospect worth far more than the additional $. They were extremely responsive. Since I was traveling and the house is tenant occupied, they put me on their schedule "in ink" and worked around my schedule so there was no possibility of changing the timing of the project. They did an extremely thorough job of prep work - power washing, scraping, sanding, patching, even doing extra work in several places. They caulked seams around the house, which no other company offered to do. They painted two coats - the first a tinted primer and the second the color I requested. Other companies offered only one or two coats of final paint, but with the amount of patching, I felt use of a primer was best. The house had previously been painted rather badly, with overspray on windows, the screen door and foundation. Queen Anne taped the windows and door off perfectly and primed and painted so that all looked wonderful and as though the paint was just where it should be. They pulled a little of the dirt back from the foundation around the house and primed and painted the foundation that was showing, so again the paint job looked great as if the painted foundation was intentional, not due to a sloppy job. Cleanup was impeccable. Their communication was better than expected, they were on time and on budget despite extra work. I was onsite several times during the job to see how it was going, and I would not hesitate recommending them. Tenants also were extremely pleased with them and their work. My sincere thanks to Cory (project manager), Duane (scheduling), Jarrod (lead painter who worked extra hard in the prep work stage), and Adam for a job well done!

I was very pleased with the result. The company volunteers to return in 3 years to do touch-ups, at no cost, and estimates that painting again will not be required for 12-15 years. The painting crew (principally Armando and Jessee) was neat, helpfiul and very professional.

Very prompt, excellent painting job, left cans of paint for touch-ups, courteous. I will use them again because I know I can trust them to do a very good job. I could probably find a less expensive company, but reliability is important to me.

We have a 1928 wood Tudor style house with an addition and the paint was flaking off of the south and west sides of the house. We got quotes from 3 painters and although QAP was a little bit more money we decided to work with them. They provided a complete quote, were very responsive and took the time to meet with us and answer all of our questions. I had a color consultation with Doug which eliminated the anxiety I was feeling about choosing paint colors. He totally set my mind and ease! The painters started work and were very courteous and always cleaned up at the end of the day. There were a couple minor add-ons outside of the contract (repairing some rotten wood at a couple windows). The lead painter always consulted me about what the condition was, and how long he thought it would take to fix it so I could decide if I wanted the work done or not. The extra work costs came in below his estimates. Anytime I had some questions about how the job was going I called Jay the Project Manager/Estimator and we talked through it. At no point was I ever worried about how the end product would turn out because I knew I was working with open and honest professional people who do the right thing. I would recommend QAP to anyone! They did a fantastic job and the house looks absolutely beautiful!!

The owner of the company, Doug Wold, was our estimator and helped us choose colors. Right from the start, we were impressed with his professionalism, and that of his team. The workers showed up right on time everyday, and left a detailed report on their progress every night. In addition to painting, the team tore out some old wood paneling and repaired large sections of previously poorly patched drywall. When we weren't entirely pleased with the new color of one of our bedrooms, Doug generously offered to repaint the room at the cost of the paint. We were consistently impressed by the professionalism and craftsmanship displayed by Queen Anne Painting and would be happy to work with them again.

We started with an outside paint job. QA identified a bit of rot which turned into a much bigger job. They referred us to a contractor who took care of that issue. Doug stayed in touch throughout that project in a supportive and yet not obtrusive way. They completed the exterior paint job when we were ready. It looks fabulous! Anything that wasn't perfect they have taken care of. The team is remarkably professional and punctual. We had our windows and casement replaced as part of the other side project and Doug and his team also ended up painting most of the interior of our house as well (master bedroom, TV room, LR, DR, hallway/stairway). The second part of the project was a rush job and I asked Doug if he could please complete it before Thanksgiving (having called the second week of November!). He accommodated the request by putting two crews on the work and got it done before Thanksgiving. The work is top notch and they are always on time. I don't think they are the least expensive company, but you get what you pay for and Doug and team are fantastic.

QA Painting is great! Someone answered the phone when I called and immediately scheduled an appointment. Doug was prompt for the appointment, went carefully over the job, presented options, and emailed a professional, understandable bid that same day. The best part - the crew showed up on time, were clean and polite, went over the tasks with me so we had the same understanding of what was going to happen, took excellent care of my property, and got the job done in the time as bid!!!!! And the finished product is excellent. An event that turned out to be minor - on the second day paint dust had landed on the first floor. Based on past experience with other contractors, I expected this to be a major hassle. I emailed Doug that evening and asked to talk about it by 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Much to my surprise, QA gives its lead painters authority and responsibility to take care of issues right away. The lead was at my house at 8:00 a.m., and had a cleaning crew there by 8:45. Doug followed up that day. Wow, that meant so much to me. They did a beautiful job. Their carpenter also adjusted/repaired some sticking doors. They are working perfectly now. I will definitely invite QA Painting to bid on other projects.

In our view, Queen Anne Painting are the very best. It was really refreshing to see a company that knows how to communicate with the customer with honesty and integrity. They were very professional, yet very customer oriented and caring in seeing that our property was properly taken care of and ready for the winter. As we did not have the funds to do everything we wanted done, they assisted us in ascertaining what really needed priority before winter. Refreshingly, they communicated when they would be here and they were on time! As the work progressed, we were in awe at the total difference in the paint job. Much care was done to do it right and it really showed. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we received the very best. We even managed to accidentally step on the threshold that had just been stained....even though the painter put a warning sign up that there was wet paint. We called them, and they came out and fixed it without complaint or charge. We very highly recommend this company in all ways. Their customer service is excellent. The staff takes great care to be careful of the plants & property, knows how to do the job correctly the first time & listens to the customer. We plan on having some more work done by this company. There will be no one else after our experience with them. We thank you Queen Anne Painting for all that you have done for us & your great job.
