After the initial meeting, I received no estime. I called and emailed multiple times, and gave him plenty of time to respond. I did reach Mr. Lobo once, he apologized, saying he'd been away and promised to get back to me the next week. I never heard from him again.

It went very well.  The owner, Suraj, is a great guy who knows his stuff.  He is very busy so sometimes a bit slow to get back to you, but always does and is very polite.  We used a rebate program that made our innovative system much more affordable.
Our new system is AWESOME and very quiet--even more so that I thought.  He worked very hard with his crew to make sure our details were taken care of from start to finish, which was greatly appreciated.

Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, forward thinking, passionate about heat pumps! So much so spent a lot of time educating me on the ins and outs of the heat pump and had to come back later that day to finish the estimate. He was Community power works favorite installer for heat pumps and in the height of the rebate program was crazy busy with referrals, so I didn't end up using him because he didn't respond to my emails for a while, finally sent a bid but couldn't be reached to discuss the bid. Knows his stuff, the rebate craziness will end in september, and I suspect he will be able to be more responsive then.

I was referred to Progressive through Community Power Works (CPW), a grant based program in Seattle offering discounts and funding to owners of older homes to become more energy efficient. Progressive is one of their approved contractors. Because of the large price, I had more than four estimates done. When each company arrived I simply said "I want to save energy using a heat pump." Every company- except Progressive- gave me a bid on a duct-based heat pump. One company literally walked around the outside of my house for 5 minutes and left me with a standard cost sheet. When Suraj from Progressive looked at my house, he very thoughtfully and carefully explained why that would not be the best solution for my house due to old, rickety ducts. We met with Suraj two additional times to carefully go over the details of a ductless system and he was very gracious about finding more aesthetically pleasing solutions for rooms where I did not want a large wall mounted unit.
As a contractor for CPW they handled all of the rebates from CPW and the City of Seattle and files for all of those on our behalf. In our quote they included a $200 discount they thought we qualified for. When the City declined it Progressive ate the cost as their error. I thought that was very classy. After all of the discounts that they helped us get, our out of pocket expense was around $9,500.
When they showed up to do the work the crew was fast, efficient and courteous. They performed all of the work as described and handled all of the permitting and inspections. My husband and I LOVE our heat pump system-- we're warm all of the time and we no longer have to pay for outrageous oil costs.
The one negative I would say is that communication with Progressive can be challenging. It can be frustrating to wait days for a reply to an email or a phone call. But, when you're actually connected the customer service is great. I recently recommended them to a coworker and she had the same experience-- awesome service but patience is required.
