The owner was very attentive to detail and came to look at the location first. He was very good at managing the move from start to finish. They were on time and worked very hard!!!! The owner even assisted with picking out extra storage. Just very reliable business people!

There were problems with the move. I asked them to be very careful with my fragile antique roll-top desk but had to remind the worker many times to be careful. They were helping me pack and he just pulled out all the little drawers and dumped them in a box. Pulled out the big drawers and turned them upside down and dumped them in the box (on top of boxes of lightbulbs). They did not hook the TV components back up properly and did not put my TV cabinet back together properly. The top shelf glass is not situated on the frame properly and the TV is too heavy for me to move by myself to fix it. They also did not replace the screws and now I cannot find them. My nightstand has a gouge on the front. I asked them to come back and put the cabinet back together properly and I have been ignored.

Outstanding, professional moving services!!! We were moving about 20 miles away from a 2500 SF home and an off-site storage site, to a 4200 SF home on rather short-notice (2 weeks) and needed a full service local mover. I contacted several companies and Octopus was THE ONLY one who contacted us personally. (Others just emailed their standard hourly rates.) Octopus gave us a good quote and we hired them on the spot. They were outstanding in every possible way. They arrived on-time, everyone worked hard and fast, and all of our belongings arrived safely. Alberto and his team are top-notch in every way. We will hire them again, and highly recommend their services to others.

The octopus crew was prompt and very professional. They saw my move was rather complex due to needing to incorporate a ferry schedule so they added on extra person to load the truck to ensure it was done as efficiently as possible.

Highly recommended. Alberto and his team were honest to God the best movers I have ever hired. Quoted me a great price right away, stayed in touch and dealt with my annoying questions leading up to the move, arrived early on the day-of, handled our belongings thoughtfully and with care, finished in the exact amount of time he estimated, and charged me exactly what he quoted me. He did not tack on a single extra fee as movers so often do at the end. He even brought an extra person (a new employee apprenticing) to help organize inside the truck while he has his other colleague efficiently moved our belongings. After a string of nightmare movers in the past, these guys restored my faith that you can find honest, decent and skillful movers with a high degree of integrity.

This is the third time I have had all my stuff moved by other people, and it is the first time all my things came out the other side unscathed. However. The crew leader underestimated how much stuff we had, by a long shot. He brought a truck that was half the size we needed. I was stuck, because I needed to be gone that day, and ended up paying a solid five hundred dollars over other estimates. Demand a walk through.

Shrink-wrapped the furniture, diligently loaded, drove, and unloaded an entire house with 2 guys in 8 hours. Alberto even changed my move day on short notice to one day sooner to beat the rain. Easy to work with and considerably less money than the other moving companies that gave me quotes. And Octopus Movers was the first to call me after my Home Advisor inquiry.

I called, just yesterday, with a small issue I had. I had purchased an appliance from Home Depot and it was delivered yesterday. A mistake was made (one on my part, one on their part). They were willing to take the appliance back, but we needed to get it to the store. I called Octopus, and they were able to be there this morning. They were on time. They were helpful. They were VERY careful in moving the refrigerator to the truck, wrapping it, and getting it to the store. This was a small job, but I cannot say enough good things about the service. If we have *any* moving needs, we will certainly call back! Thanks!

I moved from Beacon Hill to Shoreline. Octopus called the night before the big move to check in. The 3 person crew arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and took care with my belongings. They even offered wardrobe boxes to move my clothes! Price was less than the initial quote and was happy to tip them! I wouldn t hesitate to use Octopus again for my moving needs!
