I originally called O'Neill as I thought I had a sewer issue. The service man spent about 15 minutes here, just looking around and quickly determined I didn't have a sewer issue, but rather just simply needed a new toilet (it was 24 years old!). I was relieved. I asked for a quick quote and said I would call them back with an installation date. I then received a bill, that was a bit unexpected since they simply looked around. Since he didn't request payment on the spot (which most service calls require) I assumed no payment was due. I called the owner and explained the situation. They waived the bill. I hired them for the install. The job was a bit challenging due to the age of the house and lack of parts provided by Koehler. But he performed the work with style and did everything possible to minimize my overall cost.

The plumber was friendly and knowledgeable. On one leaky faucet, he was able to replace a washer and fix the problem without the major hassles and efforts we expected. On a second, he replaced a hose as we had requested, though it turned out not to be the source of the problem and did not fix the leak. He also replaced a filter on a water-filtration system that we were unable to disassemble.

Fantastic Job! They arrived on time and when they discovered the type of toilet they called in the "expert" rather than trying to perform a fix at that moment. The "expert" came the next day and not only fixed the toilet but provided great information on what we can expect in the future in terms of possible problems with this toilet. Very impressed with their service.

They did good work on the pipes and left everything in good condition when the job was complete. They arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional in manner and quality of work. It was a little pricey but competitive for the job.

The plumber did excellent work. He knew what he was doing, communicated about it, worked quickly, and had what he needed on the truck except in one case. Further, when I called to make the appointment I was given the opportunity to explain the problems as thoroughly as I could, which seemed to expedite the work and result in assignment of a highly qualified plumber. Another plumbing firm had previously worked on the same faucets quite ineffectively.

This was an excellent experience with a company that has knowledgeable, pleasant, courteous employees at every level. I started by having a very informative conversation on the telephone about evidence of a sewer break/block on my sink drain. The person at O'Neill was very willing to help me save money by doing my own digging/trenching and told me what to expect and look for. When I called back to describe what I found, the field assessor showed up in short order, told me a few more things I could do myself to save money and make the extent of their work more clear. Their sewer work crew showed up promptly and did good work in a reasonable amount of time. The indoor crew that ran the snake through the drain actually called to warn that they were going to be less than 1/2 hour later than the specific time they gave us (we are used to service people giving a 4-hour window). The charges weren't cheap, but I have no complaints. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

The workman arrived on time and spent a short time accomplishiing the job.

Brit called to confirm that Peter would be arriving within the hour. He did. He was courteous and worked very hard. He took care to keep a clean work site. He methodically analyzed the problems and found successful solutions.

They did an amazing job, they were really efficient. I am very satisfied with the work performed and would definitely recommend them. Their price was fair considering the quality of the job.

They were a little pricey but really did a good job. They gave me a nice 5% discount along with a senior discount. They came right after I called them and were available to work overtime and late. I just love them.

Very well. They had a good selection of disposers on hand to choose from, their mark-up on it was negligible, the plumber worked quickly and efficiently. He redesigned the plumbing layout so that I have much more usable space under the sink. And no leaks.

I thought that they were really good as they even fixed some of the mistakes that another plumbing company made about two months ago. The guy was very professional and explained everything in detail to me. I also felt their price was very fair.

I called and spoke with the owner, Tim O'Neill. I described the problem (water leakinging out of shower possibly from drain pipe) and what had led up to it - me yanking out a ring of silicone as well as a wad of hair. He listened carefully and paraphrased the problem. Then he reassured me that the leak was probably due to the missing silicone ring. He encouraged me to make the repair myself (thereby saving myself money) explaining exactly what I would need to do. My husband and I followed Mr. O'Neil's advice and the shower is working normally. I really appreciated his candor and his assistance. Mr. O'Neil has earned himself a loyal customer for our next big plumbing problem. Thank yolu!

I have been using McNel Septic for very many years. We are on a first name basis and are happy to recommend them to others. They always finalize their work and have good communication between the field and their office.

O'Neill Plumbing did a fine job. They are very knowledgeable and were very thorough checking out everything including the water heater to track down the problem. They were very nice to deal with.

Worker was very efficient, professional and polite. After the outdoor drains were cabled, we asked if he could fix a leaky bathroom faucet and replace a faulty o-ring on our water filter. He still had some time before his next appointment and got right to work on these indoor tasks. All work was completed in an hour.

I called at 8 AM asking if same-day service was possible for clearing out a clog. O'Neills was able to schedule someone on the spot, and gave me an accurate window for when they would arrive. John showed up on time and was personable, helpful, and careful. He asked what we had observed with the problem, visually inspected the pipes and told us which ones came from where and what the possible causes might be. Our plumbing setup required that a very heavy piece of equipment be moved across our new hardwood floors and down some narrow basement stairs, and John handled it defly and carefully, not a single scratch anywhere. He noticed that we were missing a drain cover on an existing drainage system we had, and recommended installing one while he was there, at very low cost, and that was very helpful, too.

We had various leaks in a house we just bought that we wanted to have repaired prior to moving in. We were happily surprised that we were able to schedule an appointment within a few days of my initial call. John came over initially just for an estimate, but it became apparent that the repairs needed were not as involved as we previously thought. He had what he needed to make the repairs on his truck and offered to fix everything right then. I accepted and he was done within 3 hours. He was very nice, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. We have decided to replace a couple fixtures and will be calling them again to do the service.

The plumber [John] arrived promptly as scheduled and took 2 hours to remove old sink, install new granite-composite sink [along with new faucet, air gap, soap dispenser], and haul away old stuff. Kept work area in kitchen clean and all installation went well. He laid down nice clean bead of caulk behind the sink [would be impossible for me to do properly]- that was not part of sink install. He checked the lines and valves; recommended replacement of plastic shut-off valve that has seen better days. After John left, I discovered that he had installed 1 new flange, but not the other [garbage disposal side]. One old, one new - didn't match and I had purchased "set" so that they would. The owner, Tim O'Neil, was very responsive and helped straighten out the situation. O'Neil ended up paying for new flange and John came back and installed it. Was just a mix-up and the worked it out very nicely. They were easy to work with - responsible, competent and courteous.

Went great -- the plumber was right on time (at the early end of the range I'd been given). He finished everything in about 30 minutes. He even noticed that the sink water flow was a little slow, and installed a new aerator (which fixed the problem).

I called three times in one day and left messages. Each time I explained my problem and left a cell phone number. They never called me back. I would think they could have called even if to say they were too busy. Too bad, since they have such great reports on Angie's List.
